Yeah but do you see what I mean? It's even your mentality here, in your own words you'd be doing it to "ruin their day." That's not at all the mentality you should have especially if you're gonna be staff. I have no issue at all with you reporting a toxic player on this server and improving our community by doing so. But, my issue lies within the fact that your attitude is "well if they do so and so I'm gonna do it back and hit them even harder" - while that can work in some cases in life, in a situation where you are a staff member that represents the staff team on a DarkRP server on Garry's Mod, it will not work. I'm not at all trying to harp on you or anything either, trust me I've made a few mistakes here, including when I was on the staff team. No one's perfect and I'll be the first to attest to that. It's just that your mentality needs to change a bit if you're going to be a successful person on this staff team.

this is gonna have to stop if ur gonna be staff member, if someone is being toxic to you in a sit, you mute and warn for diss in a sit, you don’t “return the favor” or treat them how they’re treating you” if someone is constantly harassing you , dont go back at them and report it to a admin + who can handle the harassment reports. theres a difference between being a regular user and a staff member. if you cant handle your emotions and its gonna spill out in ooc, its a bad look as a staff member.

Am I not allowed to defend my reasons for the suggestion in a constructive manner? I dont see how I'm arguing in any way thats violating any rules. The suggestions preface says nothing about constructive debate being against the suggestions guidelines.

-1 I strongly agree with @IAreGunner, although you possess prior experience in DarkRP staffing I've seen your emotions get the best of you in-game which scares me because you are taking on a great responsibility when becoming staff. I've also seen you on the forums acting immature and dissing people two things that go against the staff rules and guidelines. If you get accepted into the staff team, I hope you can prove me wrong. I wish you good luck on your journey to becoming staff.

neutral i don’t doubt your staffing abilities, but from what i seen on the forums when people are harassing or toxic to you leaves me concerned. Your getting powers and abilities and im simply concerned if someone pushes you too far that your gonna use them in a abusive way. i would like to know how you intend on controlling yourself, steps you will/have taken to not let people push you that far.

I said I would return the favor, as in I would quite simply ruin their day by getting them in trouble with staff. Whatever.

Firstly, harassment and toxicity is against guidelines on all spectrums. Secondly, I wouldn't take it into my own hands as I can't take my own sit. I would report toxicity, or harassment and have another staff member handle it. Damn, I didn't know I couldn't be upset about something that goes against community guidelines.

(include any proof): I was playing as R2-D2 and got dragged to the ENG bay for talking. I got cuffed to the wall and was told I was going to be probed and taken apart. This was obviously very confusing and wild at the time. I said in OOC that I needed help and was being raped, which seemed like an accurate cry for help. My chat & voice got muted because I was trying to explain in chat what was going on. Then I heard a higher up say it was an RP reason, because I was a "talking droid". I had zero chance to acknowledge this because I got slapped with a 50-year ban. I wasn't brought to a sit and made aware of what was going on or anything. I wasn't previously jailed, brought to a sit, or anything throughout my whole session, so this was kind of out of the blue. Why should your ban be removed?: I wasn't made aware of what was going on, and it seemed like I was being harassed instead of an RP situation. I was made aware of how a droid couldn't talk, but I was attempting to explain something to someone when I was dragged. I wasn't brought to a sit and helped on what was going on either. I can understand a ban for what I said in OOC, but 50 years seems a bit extreme.

As a longstanding player of the community, I have much time on my belt and have spent much time readjusting myself to the community after my much hated exiled from Garnet. I was also banned permanently by proggy in 2022 for sending his face to him and saying he looked like a discord moderator over an incident that caused me to resign from staff being upset with proggy.
