The main server population is growing increasingly frustrated with changes that don't fit what they enjoy about the server. I have been getting a little annoyed with the backroom chats about the on goings and thought that someone should finally speak out rather than the constant talking behind the managers back as much as i disagree with the direction he is taking with the server i thought someone should at the very least make a point somewhere he could see it. The Staff team are not listened too with the manager suppressing there views and anytime he doesn't agree with a majority he just shoots it down telling them to "cope" and just deal with the fact its his way or no way. This is not a way to manage a server simply doing whatever you would prefer and not taking into account the views of the staff team or the community and supressing there views, there is basically no staff team or community input allowed at this point that is adverse to the managers views, its like the staff team exist to be sit bots, the players are there to do what they are told and the manager does what he likes the term manager isn't doesn't cover what this is, a better word would be dictator. He is currently in the HR Division as a HR Supervisor and is extremely active with his division work. He also runs the GM Team. On server Smity has been a very influential person always placing PermaProps when required, he is always communicating with faction leaders and people onserver to see whats going well, what isn't and what staff could do for them. Going forward he is looking to improve communications between the executives, staff and the wants of the community to insure that the server is moving in a direction that works for the many not the few. And to Properly seek out cheaters and make sure they are dealt with accordingly.

Okay so here we are again, hows it going?, hows everyone doing this evening? I plan on benefiting the server in general just by being available when the server is lower pop and there isn't many staff on. The Current Sit counts are rather low and as much I would love to say I would help by taking sits this is not my main priority, I am not suggesting that I wouldn't take sits I am simply stating that as of current there is not a big demand for a staff member who primarily will sit farm. Rather I would be looking to make an impact by helping to get the view of the generalized community across to the MRP executive team and try to aid with rule changes and generally just assisting people on server. I think the idea of staff being just sit bots has clouded some peoples view of how much a staff member can actually do I would look to assist Factions with TPs, Respawns and 'Hopefully' in the future sets for Tryouts, trainings and sims, as the role of staff isn't just handling reports and making judgements on forums that is just one part of it, the Main role in my eyes is to improve players experience on server and that is exactly what I aim to do. Now as Previously Stated my Main objective as staff isn't just sits however I think my approach towards sits can improve the new player experience, I look to take a Lenient approach towards new players. Example TALI pvt S0Me0n3 RDMS VET . I would not simply go straight to punishments, Instead explain to them what they did wrong and what the rules are and if need be retrain them. Not all new players are minges most just take a while to learn the do's and don't's on server. I would also look at using staff commands to allow for easier and more enjoyable activities for new players, being able to bring new people back after dying in sims allow them to get back into the action quicker and prevent them from getting bored, as bored new players leads to lower player retention and without a good player retention the server will not have any portion of new players. So to summarize I would look to help improve lower pop [Early in the day for US] player experience, attempt to help people with small scale events faction based or otherwise and to Generally just try to conduct sits in a fair and transparent manner. I have always been a person who tries to help anyway I can, simply put I enjoy playing on server and I wont be the first to say this but current staff are doing a pretty great job of preventing minging and toxic players from spoiling everyone's experience on server and on the whole I haven't really seen to many contested warns or bans lately. Basically what I'm Taking a while to say is I'm not gonna make any outrageous claims that I am somehow gonna get the server to max pop in a week. However what I would look to contribute is an honest opinion and an open mind towards scenarios in sits. I would look to handle sits in the fairest way possible and to contribute to any staff related duties on forums and on server with professionalism. As a Member of the Staff Team I would Contribute mostly by taking on server sits and try to show any new player that may not know / may break the rules that we are a tolerant community and we are willing to help players better understand and enjoy the server. I would also look to assist in any on / off server testing of patches or bugfixes, assist with creating future update sheets and in general try and be as much help as possible. Description: The Current map Omega is another great map however it seems to be getting alot of negative community feedback as of late, as usual this isn't because the map is bad it is just because we have been on it alittle to long. I think it is time to catch a plane to a previous garnet map. As usual I think this should be put to a community vote as usual and a forum should be opened for comments on Omega changes/improvements for the future. Reasoning: This would benefit the server as it allows the player base to experience a different map, create new tryouts tailored to the "new" map and change up the combat dynamic with different terrain. I actually rather like Omega however even I am finding it rather stale as of late and I have heard many others in ts awaiting a map change. This is more of a quality of life change rather than something that is game changing.

Recommendation Try hop in TS as much as possible and spend sometime meeting and interacting with people in the community. Try get your playtime up and try show ur commitment to the server by becoming a Base Faction officer or a member of SOC faction.

Description: Change the names of sections of the forums to Afghan instead of Russia to match what is currently on server. And move the old threads to an archive sections titled Russian Forces : forum posts so that they are not deleted simply moved. I know this may cause some controversy however as someone who generally prefers RU over AFG onserver i would just like to state that this is just to save confusion etc and so that the MRP factions section can once again be utilised. Still to do sheets for BRifles, MRifles and Snipers but ill follow up with them in a few days.

+1 This would make a great temporary fix to the low population on tali. And would hopefully stop US players having to swap over every war.
