Voice AMP

I had noticed green artifacts across my screen on occasions (particularly during events) and realized this may just be the voice amp swep.

As a result I've removed portions of the code responsible for this happening, and also made it's radius 35% larger to encapsulate all of Debrief and more

Please make sure to update me as to whether or not the green artifacts are gone

 

 

 

Loadouts

Fortification Pads

Removed from all classes that had it prior

Added onto Ghost Company : Leader, Tank

Added onto 104th Dire Company : Leader, Operator

 

 

 

Republic Commando : Assailant

Class has been added back onto the server

New playermodel added to the server's collection

Clone Trooper : Rifleman

Removed unnecessary body groups a rifleman would never need to utilize as a transitional class (Kama, Pauldron, Bicep Ammo, Backpack)

 

 

 

104th Battalion : Officer

Removed earcomms bodgroup was missing a texture for the model attachment

 

 

 

Clone Trooper : Recruit

This class has  been locked onto the helmetless variant of the playermodel

Upon spawn, recruits will be given 1 of 6 unique skin colors/facial markings combinations to help distinguish between them

 

 

 

Passive Event System

Since my system had to be hardcoded and required tens of thousands of lines of code, we had switched to a different system made by a third-party, allowing staff to build new events all while in-game, with a very simple user interface

 

 

 

Donation Shop

According to @MarkyMark, people were interested in more items to donate for on the server, and honestly, after a year of being unprofitable due to nothing to donate for, I figured i'd add some more goodies to the shop to help recuperate the costs of the passive event system I posted above, which was $100 before taxes equated in 😠

Server Start-up Time

Further optimized via heavy compression of data, it seems like we slashed server restart times from 3 minutes to ~70 seconds, and join time from a reported range of 3-5 minutes to 1-2.5 minutes (less than half)

The new portions of this update had to be delayed for a very lengthy project this morning through the afternoon. Due to the server picking up population again and there being somewhat constant events again, I got pretty bothered by GMs not being careful enough with their tools and causing server lag spikes/crashes. With the most recent crash being last night with 50 players on the server. It is understandable not being too well versed in Sandbox's default tools as a StarwarsRP player, so I figured i'd take an alternative approach to punishment, and simply bolster up our prop protection.

Prop Protection

Created a light prop protection system that'll disallow players from spawning in props within one another

Added system to prevent some fairly typical accidental crashes (will leave details out of this post for security)

Disallowed GMs from physgunning LFS ships, simply spawn them into their appropriate position

 

To do: disallow props from being moved into LFS vehicles

To do: disable motion on spawning LFS vehicles
