this  guy wants to warn me for fail rp even if taking hits i placed does not violate rp rules

 

ROLEPLAY RULES

Do not RDM.
Random Death Match; Killing players with no RP reason.
Disrespect, mic spam, or anything that would not result in damage being taken is not RP reasons to kill someone.
Do not NLR.
New Life Rule; Returning to the scene of your death immediately after dying or before the preset time has run out.
If you die defending a base during a raid you may not return to the base until the raiding party has adverted over.
NLR Timer: 3 Minutes.
Do not misuse props (Prop-Minge, Prop-Surf, Prop-Climb, Prop-Block).
Aimlessly throwing props around, trapping other players, and/or any other inappropriate use of a prop).
Do not stack/chain adverts.
Example: Raid/Assist/Mug/warn123/false/over, etc..
Do not Fading Door Abuse.
FDA: Abusing keybinds on your keyboard to open and close fading doors.
Do not RP in spawn
Example: Arresting, Building, Mugging, shooting people etc.
Do not body block or door spam
Making it so players cannot pass you or spamming e on a door to prevent it from being opened or closed.
Do not run into spawn to avoid an RP situation.
Do not change your name more than 3 times within 30 minutes.
Do not use /advert or /broadcast for Non-RP reasons.
You may not climb SWEP abuse
Example: Hitting players with the Climb SWEP for no reason, boosting away from a mug or police pursuit.
You may not text screen minge.
You may not kill yourself to avoid an RP situation.
You may not use key binds to fade and unfade fading doors during an RP situation.
Example: Fading the entrance of your base with a keybind while running from someone mugging you.
You may not kill civil protection while wanted unless they are making an attempt to actively arrest you.
You may steal after adverting steal, once you advert steal the victim or the victim's party member(s) have the right to kill you without adverting counter.
You may not leave a sit unless declared over by a moderator.
You may not report on another players behalf.
Metagaming is prohibited.
Use of OOC or PM to affect the given RP situation you or others are related in.
Example: /OOC “I'm being raided *name* come help me!).
Invisible names are prohibited
Adverts and broadcasts must be coherent and clear.
Additionally, you may not alter the color of adverts in chat; as this may cause confusion.
Do not interrupt staff reports.

This is either FailRP or some type of meta gaming, just because this specific event is not in the rules, doesn't mean it cannot apply to what FailRP is. If I am wrong about this situation I will gladly take any consequences, but this doesn't seem right to me.

After reviewing this evidence, I am in complete agreement with this warning.

 

Believe it or not, we try to not over-bloat our rules to be thousands of lines long like a big book (which other servers tend to do) and leave it down to the basics - that'd be the sole reason we do not explicitly write "You cannot fulfill your own hit in a different life". This under all circumstances would fall under the umbrella of "Metagaming". You completed an action in one life, switched to another, and then took advantage of something you had set up in a previous life (in this situation, a hit fulfillment), essentially getting paid by yourself.

I do need to go ahead and also patch this issue while i'm at it  

 

If you're not happy with the Metagaming title, we can considering it an exploit of server code and issue a different punishment, as I think it's very apparent our hit system wasn't intended as a loop/workaround for someone to get away with RDM.

Well first of all metagaming definition does vary from which sources you take it, so it should have been provided in the server rules page.

Second, I do believe you are not being unbiased as a judge in this situation since you accused me with intentionally using hitman system as an exploitation for rdm without providing any evidence as you quoted ''If you're not happy with the Metagaming title, we can considering it an exploit of server code and issue a different punishment, as I think it's very apparent our hit system wasn't intended as a loop/workaround for someone to get away with RDM.''

First of all this is denied because you did not follow the format and you just copy and pasted random rules into your appeal. 

While its not specifically stated in the rules I agree with the warn. 

It really could fall into the category of metagaming or failrp

You took advantage of the system, broke rp to switch to hitman to take your own hit you placed. 

Not sure how you thought you would get this reversed to be honest. 

I wouldn't bother re submitting this appeal with the correct format because it will be denied again.
