Why should we choose you over other applicants?: 

 

I believe I would be a great choice for staff over other applicants due my 14+ years of playing DarkRP, my Military background, and due to my current job as a Security Officer. I have learned how to be impartial but fair, have on the spot decision making, and how to deescalate almost any situation. 

 

During my 4 years that I served in the U.S. Army. I was a dismount team leader in which I was signed for over $10 million worth of military equipment and led a team of four soldiers. I had the honor of training with the 75th Ranger Regiment, the Royal Dragoon Guards, and the South Korean Army. These experiences have taught me a great deal about discipline, responsibility, and remaining calm no matter the situation at hand. 

 

One of the main reasons I want to join the staff team is to help newer players. I am already spending a fair amount of time mentoring  I am constantly helping new players on the server. Teaching them how to build, the best way to make money, showing them fun little spots on the map. Most of the time when I am solo basing farming money I will invite a few newer players into my base and have them collect some money to gain XP for a job they really want or teaching them how to make meth.

 

I honestly love this server, the people, and the community that is here. I just want the newer players to have the ability to see behind the curtains, to take a peak at what the beautiful server has to offer to them. Because I know if they just give it a chance it will give so much back to them. 

 

Have you ever been banned or punished on any server? If so, Include details:

I have had 2 warnings in the past. One for FailRP in which I had bought the doors to a base when someone had disconnected, and another one for RDM. I have been playing this game since 2011, so I am sure I have some other punishments on other servers but non come to mind.

How much time do you have to contribute to the role?:

I can contribute on Sunday and Mondays pretty much all night long. On the weekdays It will be maybe 3-4 hours due to me working the night shift and also having a family. 

 

If you have any, what hobbies or activities are you involved in outside of Garry's Mod?:

During the Spring/Summertime I am always out catching some fish and, in the fall, I am usually out hunting. I am also a father to my perfect Son Levi. We share the same exact birthday, and he was the best birthday gift I have ever gotten.

I have been mulling this over for the past few days, and from the interactions I have had with you, I don't see you as staff material currently. Keep in mind that these interactions have been fairly short, but they definitely have an impact. From other responses, it appears that you enjoy trolling/messing with people, but as a staff member you have to evaluate situations with impartiality, and while its ok to have fun, you do end up having to make decisions that impact the players directly, and you shouldn't be messing around while making those decisions. I believe that the impression of you is not complete, but evaluating you based off this current impression I feel that you are not staff material. In the event that you do get staff, I hope that you can work on your community image.

Great application I won’t argue that at all. However, the interactions i’ve had with you in game have been negative as you’ve shown a hostile attitude towards me for no apparent reason. I’m not sure why but I have no issues with you at all to warrant such behavior at all. Improve on your behavior then I’ll consider changing my vote. Good Luck!!
