Past experiences as staff: I have staffed Garnet in the past and believe I got to the role of a Senior Moderator, but I could be wrong as this was quite some time ago. While it has been some time I am confident that I will be able to jump back into this role and continue to help the server as an administrator.  

 

Why should we choose you over other applicants?:  

I’ve been around Garnet for a long time, long enough to have seen the server evolve and to understand the vibe that the community expects. With 364 hours on record and zero disciplinary actions, I’m also a reliable and present player. I've spent enough time on the server to see most situations that can happen unfold, and this gives me the confidence to handle whatever may happen. Whether it's a complex base raid dispute or just a simple RDM report, I've seen how these situations play out from both sides and know how to reach a resolution quickly. 

I’ll be there to keep the game fun for everyone by enforcing the rules fairly, not to power trip. Since I spend most of my time interacting with players and getting to know the regulars, I have a good read on the community. This will help me de-escalate situations during sits since I usually already have a rapport with the people involved; they know me as a fair and rule abiding player, so they are more likely to listen and respect the decisions made when I am staff.

Besides being reliable and present on the server, but I-and many of the players I interact with-would consider me a down-to-earth and fair person. I don't let my personal feelings or friendships get in the way of a sit. If a rule is broken, it's broken, regardless of who is involved. Being approachable makes it easier for newer players who may not have a full understanding of the rules come to me with questions and advice. I take pride in being someone the community can talk to, which helps keep the vibe of the server relaxed and keeps situations from getting out of hand. 

I’ve held staff positions here in the past, and while it's been a few years, the core of DarkRP remains the same. I know the rules, I know how to handle clips and evidence properly, and I’m ready to jump back into staffing and help keep the server running smoothly. I'm consistently active during 2-3 weekday evenings and typically later on Saturdays as well, so I can be there to help when the player count is high and staff is most needed.

No, I remember being warned for RDM on a different server many years ago due to a crossfire incident, but nothing beyond a simple verbal warning.

Yes! To garnet gaming under the name Taco Daddy many years ago.  

 

How much time do you have to contribute to the role?:

To be honest I don't have a ton of time to spend on the role as I am typically on call for work and have a wife and kid that takes a lot of my time, but I try to make a point to get on at the minimum 2-3 times a week. That being said I will absolutely have enough time to make a positive impact on the community and keep up with the staffing requirements.  

 

If you have any, what hobbies or activities are you involved in outside of Garry's Mod?: Outside of Garry's Mod I quite enjoy flipping computers to resell them, and bonding with my newborn son. I am also a Safety Specialist so while it may sound a bit nerdy I quite enjoy reading and staying updated on federal regulations from OSHA / EPA / RCRA / DOT and others. Beyond this when I have the time, I also enjoy a good round of golf, even though I am not the best, and riding my dirt bike at the local ATV park.

I'm in the middle with this one, you are really chill in game and know the rules. You read the rules,  your hobbies are solid I'm also apart of the health and safety team at my work and offroad all the time, I'd love to chat with you on discord about some of that. the thing that gets me is your why should we chose you needs to be beefed up(another paragraph) fix that and I'll change it to a plus one.
