I got had an anurism reading this lmao. But in all seriousness, filling out the format that Capalot just gave you in an organized fashion will get people to take your appeal much more seriously. I also recommend using proper grammar, spelling, capitalization and punctuation.

Toxins, I agree completely 100% with your ideals regarding not exposing young kids to porn. However, he simply wasn't doing anything that qualifies as such. Remember, this entire situation could have been solved through a verbal warn by a staff member to take the sign down. The entire point behind this appeal is that a perma ban is far too excessive.

Since when have I played MRP lmao, I'm former DarkRP staff. In all seriousness, don't try to negate others' opinions because they come from a different part of the community. They are just as valid as yours and doing that only makes you look bad. Furthermore, to say that he is "distributing porn sites" is quite the stretch. I guarantee you anyone who regularly plays Garry's Mod DarkRP has been exposed to far worse. A textscreen saying "pornhub.com" isn't anywhere close to something like playing pornography in the cinema, which would ACTUALLY be distributing pornography.

While that's certainly a valid point, please take into account that the term "advertising" doesn't accurately describe what he did. He clearly had no intention of advertising the website of pornhub, as he was literally building a laptop with props. You are correct in that the ban is valid, but some lenience should still be expressed. Bear in mind, he had zero malicious intent and was banned without warning. This entire issue could have been solved through someone simply telling him "hey man, don't put links up". A permanent ban is complete overkill in this situation.

Technically speaking, you did advertise a website. However, this specific incident is such a trivial reason to get banned. If you were advertising something like another community with actual intent of advertising it and getting more visitors, then the ban would be justified. In this case, it's simply not. A sign/textscreen saying "pornhub" or "pornhub.com" should only we worthy of a verbal warn at most. It seems that you had no malicious intent and simply slipped up. I would hate to see someone not allowed to play at all for such a small and minute error, especially one that you showed much remorse for and understand how to avoid the same issue in the future. That being said, you have my +1.

In all seriousness, there's no practical reason as to why Discord is superior to Teamspeak, especially for large communities. The TS server works fine. If it won't work for you or you need help setting something up, I'd be glad to help to the best of my ability. Just shoot me a message on forums/steam/discord.

Aside from personal attacks on my character, none of what Mob said or showed in the report was falsified. I simply cannot argue against the overwhelming evidence of my failrp. While I believe that a permanent ban is quite excessive and the desire for that is driven by Mob's emotion, I still feel that me going unpunished would be unacceptable. That being said, the only ban that my actions would qualify for is NITRP. I do apologize for everything there. However, there is much more to the story than what is shown in the report. I have been compiling clips and screenshots from various sources across the server that show similar actions and much more toxicity from many players and even some staff members. I choose not to release them for the sake of not stirring the pot and turning the server upside down with accusations flying left and right. @Phantom please accept this report and ban me as you see fit.

In all seriousness, consensual rdm is indeed still rdm. Even if your mass was unintentional, it's still a mass. Just wait out the two week ban, it's not the end of the world. When/if you come back, you'll have a much better knowledge of the rules and know what not to do.

I think that it should be similar to big servers such as hypixel where there are multiple different gamemodes. As you mentioned, hunger games/battle royale are a great place to start. Bed wars, skylblock and spleef would be super fun as well. Shit I'll help you build the lobby if you want. This is a fantastic idea and it would be a great addition to the Garnishment Gaming empire.

Why should we choose you over other applicants? [minimum 2 paragraphs]
Primarily, I have a very firm grasp on the rules of the server, seeing as I have zero warns. This would help me significantly when dealing with sits, as I could recall the rules from memory with ease. Furthermore, look to my previous experience as DarkRP staff. During my time on DarkRP, I handled countless sits of all kinds, and trained several new staff members. This kind of experience under my belt is purely beneficial because it ensures that I’m not at all foreign to the practices and procedures of staffing on Garnet Gaming servers. Experience aside, here’s what I will bring to the table. A very important part of being a staff member is that one cannot let their emotions or personal bias interfere with their logic and decision making capability. With me, I am able to competently make rational decisions, even in emotionally charged or controversial situations.
Simply put, another key component of being a staff member is maturity. For this part of my character, look to some of my responsibilities in and out of the server. On the server, I’m not only in a leadership position in the 501st, I’m also a pilot. Therefore, minging is just not an option for me as it would make both factions look bad. In my personal life, I’m a peer counselor for underclassmen at my school. With this position, the students and school social workers trust me with very sensitive information such as depression, anxiety, bad home situations, etc. The counselors running this program chose me out of the dozens of applicants specifically for my maturity and integrity. Lastly, what I believe to be the most important factor, is my raw dedication to the server. It’s no secret that as the night progresses, there are more and more mass rdms happening, especially in the spawn room. I simply want to help mitigate the impact of these instances and help the immersion of other players. Since our numbers are going to pick up soon with finals ending, we will be getting more and more CTs. Thus, the need for quality staffing will increase with it. Overall, I feel that I am the perfect candidate for this position.
Have you ever been banned or punished on any server?: As many of you may already know, I was perma-banned on MRP (Reason: Having 3 bans). This was because of my actions as an immature thirteen/fourteen year old. It should go without saying that I deeply regret how I acted, as my reputation in the community was tarnished. If you ask any member of the community who actually knew me back then and still knows me now, they can verify that I am a completely different person. Since then, I have started exercising, became more sociable, and picked up more extracurriculars, all in a (successful) effort to better myself as a human being.

How much time do you have to contribute to the role?: My school year is almost over and I have no finals, so I can be on for easily a few hours every day.

At my high school, I am the captain of the debate team. I compete at tournaments every couple of weeks during the school year (pre-corona). I am ranked as one of the top varsity public forum debaters in my state (I’m a junior competing against pretty much all seniors). Outside of debate, I’m also on the Scholastic Bowl (competitive trivia) team and I’m a peer-counselor for freshman and sophomores.

+1 basically what @Toucan said. The entire argument of "get to know the newer community" is very weak and inherently flawed. You've shown your dedication to the server before, so I see no reason why you wouldn't show it again. Plus, @Im Dream vouched for your character. Though I don't know you personally, your app is solid and you have plenty of experience. I would love to see you on the team, as it would only benefit the server.

Massive +1 from me. Helps during recon and creates a better immersion. Fits in lore-wise. Also has a plethora of RP uses. No downsides to adding it.

From what I've seen on your application (low effort overall), what other community members have said (negative experiences), your position in another community (JvS Sith Intelligence leader), and your lack of seriousness of this thread (mouse meme), you get a -1 from me. I'm sure you're not a bad guy, but you should be a little more mature for a seventeen year old.
