    Not much to contest here. Would be a great member and is passionate due to his involvement in the Discord and server alike. Only bad thing is the stench coming from his referral. Can't wait to see you on the team!

    Buff the Weed Cultivator Role

    Description: I tried the Weed Cultivator role earlier today and did not enjoy it at all. The tedium of dealing with the pots as well as fixing the light and finally constantly watering the plant is straight up obnoxious. I later played as the Deliveryman and made 50k in the time it takes to grow and water the weed. The Weed Cultivator needs a buff badly. 

Reasoning: As mentioned above, this role is annoying and is far and away outclassed by other drug classes and even the deliveryman. The revenue earned from growing weed should be greater than that of what a Deliveryman can make. Due to the limited availability of the class, it should be something that players should gravitate to, not shy away from, and this is the case by taking annoying steps to make little money.

    Yeah the bans are not good. No question. However, you have made a few suggestions and have some sort of drive of being involved in the community.

    As someone who has been over on the TTT side of Garnet for almost a year now this has always baffled me. I guess the $50 will benefit the server but allowing moneybag assholes to bypass the approval of the majority of the staff team isn’t the greatest of ideas. I remember having a few altercations with @west when he was a VIP Mod, who had his application denied, and he ended up getting community banned out of it from another circumstance. 
     

    As someone who has never staffed DarkRP, but as someone who has played DarkRP many an occasion, having to deal with a mass population of players (even if some of them are alts printer farming) is a bit of a responsibility. Not everyone is capable of being a staff member, even when dealing with a small population like TTT, with DarkRP this logic is tripled. Having the quality control on who becomes staff is important, one hood staff member who can continue to grow the community outweighs 4 staff with access to daddy’s credit card directing potential regulars elsewhere. 
     

    Players who want to support the server have many other options in the donation menu, so it’s not like we are removing a huge asset from donations. Toxic players shouldn’t have the option to lengthen their stay by becoming staff. It ultimately wastes the time of the staff who applied legitimately. 
     

    P.S. Writing 2 paragraphs isn’t much of a mental stress anyway.

    Gizmo Ban appeal

    Seth had every right to mute you as he personally felt upset, you definitely deserved the mute and had no right to talk back. However, is this worth a week ban? Not necessarily. Is it still worth a ban? Yes. Due to the non-severity of the toxicity, your ban is being reduced to 4 days instead of 7. Please hold back the insults when playing on our server when your ban expires, at the end of the day we are all here to have fun.

    Talked to him on a few occasions since typing this, pretty cool and mature. It seems like everything he wrote in his application aligns with him. Deserves a trial period for sure.

    Come on at 8:56am EST and build a base when there are 70 props available and hold down the fort for 16 hours. 
     

    But really coming on earlier fixes this issue.

    I would love to see it as this was before I joined Garnet. I don’t think people are actually contemplating how the server will be operated. How is it going to be promoted? How will it maintain a playerbase that becomes an asset rather than a liability? Who will manage the server? Not many of these questions are actually being asked. 
     

    Overall I think that the server will just be made of Garnet regulars and ultimately average out the population of the server. Two half populated servers are actually worse than a server that maintains a full population that draws donors. I could honestly see a secondary DarkRP server doing better community wise to draw more new players than resurrect an old server that holds DarkRP/ SWRP regulars.

    He's a nerd, so he can do dev stuff. But I was close to a -1 because he is super sweaty and always domes me when I'm a T.

    Let more hitman take a hit

    I love the idea, however, the differences between hitman classes is so large that the hitman is likely to get whooped by the assassin, and get exterminated by Deadshot. If there were more slots for the hitman I would be down for it, but there is just too big of a gap for a hitman to get a fair bounty.

    I haven’t seen Migsaruki (Tokyo) too much in the server for a referral (not that he needs a fifth one), but I do think his behaviour has improved immensely and considering his blacklist was more than six months ago, I think he is worthy of another shot.

    What happened? In my ban appeal on the forum for advertising on the server I ended my appeal in the field that asked why I should be banned with: "Because I wasn't advertising. THIS is advertising: Join [other server] I will help train your admins personally message me on discord!"
    Why should your ban be removed?: I apologize for advertising; it was immature and I knew better. I hold no ill will, I've accepted the consequences and should have apologized sooner.
