Why should we choose you over other applicants? [minimum 2 paragraphs] I believe my maturity, professionalism, activity, experience, and willingness shows that I'm the right person for the job. I've played on the server for around four wipes now and have experienced my own fair share oftoxic/abusive players towards those just simply asking a question. However, I've also been lucky to have encountered a fair bit of really enjoyable community members that make playing Rust fun, even throughout all the toxicity. My goal as aModerator would be to make sure others get the positive experience that I did in the general chat and as much as possible within the game itself as well. Regardless of the infamous reputation that the game itself holds, with the proper staff members online to assist those online, I believe the Garnet community overall can continue to cultivate a positive experience for the average Rust player.
Additionally, I'm applying for the position of Moderator because I believe that the tools and the experience that I have from moderating various Discord servers over the years allows me to efficiently help out the other staff members and the server members. I'm a good judge of character, and I'm able to hold biases aside whenever a member needs help. I also pride myself on being a staff member who is the perfect mix of fun/friendly and professional. I am able to conduct myself in a way where I can let loose and seem approachable, but immediately have the ability to be professional and mature when in situations where it's needed. Finally, I also am able to take constructive criticism professionally and I do not take things personal, especially when I am trying to learn.
This is my first time applying for a staff position outside of Discord/Twitch, and I know that there might be a bit of a learning curve, but my willingness to learn as well as my ability to pick up on things quickly will ensure that I won't lag behind as a staff member. If chosen, I'll do my absolute best to keep toxicity out of the chat rooms, and I'd be very grateful for the opportunity.

If you have any, what hobbies or activities are you involved in outside of Rust?: I play other video games and I'm a musician. Like mentioned above, I also prioritize my school work (or at least passing my AP classes) so that takes up the free time that I usually have after school if I'm not socializing with friends.
