  1. This will be my last post on this thread, but I just wanted to point a few things out. 1. Notice how my pathing is IDENTICAL to my demonstration videos. 2. If I shot at my feet, the rocket would of caught the lip of the hill and exploded, instead it flies past him. 3. At 0:10 seconds into the video, pause it. Notice the explosion radius(dust kicked in air). Look how far down it is, and note that it is IDENTICAL to the video I posted in the demonstrations.
  2. I just thought I could show you this one last time, here is the exact same move except on a smaller hill. On Conway's 80% hp, this is for sure more then enough to kill him, and I know it works for people at 100% hp as I adapted this move from when it has been done on me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_YqDmEtCc0c (plus this video is executed without the usage of an energy drink for better strafes)
  3. Did you guys not watch my videos? Do I need to post another? I can recreate this 100 time over... You can strafe jump with the energy drink to land on the other side of the hill before it detonates.
  4. That's the same thing I do in the video... I do this tactic in almost every war. Before hand I jump, hen I kill him I turn, and Im not looking directly down the rocket flies by him and not directly down...
  5. also I must add, Conway is not even full hp. As you can see I even over shoot the rocket and it still kills him... @†Trip†
  6. https://youtu.be/DWEkbGsMhGc I can demonstrate this tactic over and over again. I am NOT aiming at my feet, I strafe jump over the hill, shoot DOWN the hill, and land on the opposite side, not taking damage. The splash damage down at Conway's feet are what hit him, and I use this tactic on many parts of the map. In this case, EXACTLY where the event occurred, I jump over the hill, and aim for the bottom of the other side. I can draw and animate the physics behind this if you really need a visual on how this tactic works. Think of it like dropping a water balloon down at the floor 2 m in front of you, but there is a wood board at 1m between you hand your hand dropping the water balloon. When the balloon hits the ground, do you get wet? No, because the board blocks it. The exact same method demonstrated here.
  7. Tundra would be a major no IMO. In plain white, bullets are hard to track, and everything blends in BESIDES the play models. Depth perception is altered and thus sniping becomes harder. In general, Tundra looks so boring and yet destroys the combat. Plus, snow makes no sence because IRL guns would need defrost, people would be slower and slopes would be extremely slippery. Woodland in every game works. Different shades of green and rock allow for more diverse terrain, and bushes to use tactical advantages. There is a reason shooter games only have 1 or 2 snow maps, because they are plain and hard to play on.
  8. +1, Great COL, creates a family within Garnet Gaming, and is one of the major drives as to why I play this game. This guy has definitely left his mark on this server and I have no doubt he'd make a great staff.
  9. TBH the Black Ops series have always been my favourite call of duty 3 year plateaus. Out of all the shit futuristic games, BO3 was the best. IMO BO1 and 2 also has some of the best game play and mechanics ever. Wager system, fresh customizable load outs etc... I am looking forward to BO4, and it bothers me to see some of the comments in this section. First of all having a fresh good looking HUD does not mean it’s simillar to IW. Second, the games release on a 3 year plateau where one of the 3 companies get to make a game. Third, both the trailer and the gameplay seems great. It’s exactly what a call of duty game SHOULD look like IMO, I would like for you guys to tell me why you don’t like it and not just “shit game” For my final thoughts, the BR game mode is a chance for a AAA title to innovate on a popular game mode. They don’t even have to call it BO4 they could of released it as a separate game. So I am grateful that it’s free, and will provide fresh, replayable experiences.
  10. For Rules, I can read any guidelines to come out in the next few days, and I HAVE read the DarkRP rules.
  11. Name: Valkyrie (current SSO code name, will be updated after this app) Yax was my OG IGN. Age: 21 Total time on the server: 111:13:03. Do you own a microphone: Yes Referrals: CJ (Doberman), Brandon Staff History: I received a ban 30mins into playing on this server for base camping x3, when I didn't know you couldn't enter the opposing base. As On ArkTech (previous server I was admin on) you could. Country of Residence: Canada Past experiences staffing? - Moderator for TDRP (ThatDarkRPServer) https://thatdarkrpserver.com/forum/members/james-footy.5640/ - Administrator on ArkTech.net (MRP) Why do you plan on benefiting our server? (100 words minimum) To begin, I plan on benefiting this server because over the past couple of weeks, this server has provided a family for me. I plan to do the behind the scenes work that I have experienced to assure that a server runs smoothly. Through my experience of moderating, I know what it takes and the flack that can be associated with modding. I understand the craftsmanship that goes into every sit, as stress and pressure levels are high. The traits I have that make me a good moderator are the following: First of all, I am personable. This is in my opinion the biggest personality trait that I believe makes me a good moderator. In my experience, I have noticed that admins who aren't personable often clash heads with those who they are dealing with. Instead, I am capable of reasoning with them and typically never get to the point where either of us are heated. Of course, some people are impossible to deal with but I guarantee they will not be capable of driving me mad. Many people who play on the server daily can back me up on this point. Next, I am responsible. I have not once been caught disrupting any RP situations. I have received one verbal warning for RDM when I didn't fully understand the rules of shooting people within your own base. This was I was fresh and newer then 5 hours into this server. Not once have I had any conflict with 2GA or SSO, in fact most officers of both factions enjoy my leadership when I can give it. I have also never had any personal beef with any member of the server, which allows me to socialize freely with any member or group of Garnet Gaming. Finally, I understand the goals, morals, and identity of the server and I believe I can help preserve that. Throughout my time on Garnet Gaming, I have noticed a common trend that I have previously mentioned, which is family. Within this vast community, their are several literal communities that act like family, and I am glad to be part of one. My family in SSO is one I hope to never give up, and it cheers me up to see all the other similar mini families in the community. MARSOC and GRU are both SOC factions I am familiar with, and I understand that in both of those factions they also have the family vibes. As well, the larger families such as 2GA and their officers led by ClickBait who are 2GA proud for life because ClickBait introduced them into it. In all, this is all possible by the staff behind the scenes. No toxicity, and a peaceful environments are created due to them, and I wish to be part of it. In conclusion, I hope you members that know me well can vouch for me, as I reassure that I can help maintain the great community through both my extensive experience being a moderator for TDRP, and the consistent positive persona I bring to the server every day. -Cheers Valkyrie.
