    Hello SryfedurcatLSD,

    I can see your previous appeal, and see that it was accepted, but unsure for what reasons. Let me follow up with the staff involved to determine what the outcome of it was, around this, and why it was not put through.

    I feel like you may be confused between advertising and DDOSing. If not, and you truly were DDOSing another server, and are admitting to doing it, then yikes… Regardless, neither of these is what the ban reason was around.

    You start by openly stating you were DDOSing another server. Whether true or not, you brag about trying to break that server…who brags about that in a ban appeal? Huge red flag there.

    Your ban was for “Advertisement”, which there is not only evidence of you pasting their IP in our server chat, you confessed to it yourself.

    Regardless of if you feel your actions weren’t “endangering” anyone or “ruining their fun”, we have rules for a reason, may it be to protect our players, their fun, or our server. You played a stupid game, and now you're upset that you received the stupid prize known as “consequences”.

    Based on your statements made, I don’t believe a ban reduction is necessary, as your statements alone are very concerning, and you also admit to breaking the rule stated in your ban.

    While the changes to perks will take some getting used to for some, I think it puts more emphasis on utilizing some of the RP classes. Rarely do I see anyone use Bartender or Drug Dealer (outside maybe some new players), so it’ll be cool to see more potential use of the classes themselves! It will also put money back into the eco and player’s pockets, especially for newer players who tend to be the ones who play the class.

    Burnie FUBARs - Staff Application

    I will attest that Burnmeister (Bernie) was a great staff member in the time he was on TTT. Understandably, TTT does get repetitive, and it can be difficult to grind out longer staffing sessions, unlike with DarkRP (where there is a plethora more to do, and better balance between staffing and gameplay). For this reason, I don’t hold it against him that he eventually lost interest.
     

    Burnmeister did an excellent job during the time he staffed, acts maturely for his age, takes feedback well, and I know he can handle the switch over to the server’s administrative system just fine. I trust that he will be proactive as a staff member, in ensuring that the server's players are taken care of to the best of his ability. He took the time to become more familiar with the player base, as well as the rules, before immediately switching. With his prior staffing experience, I think he would fit in well with the DarkRP staff team ☺️.

    Aside from the fact that this could have been easily dealt with in a non-public manner, much of the evidence that was presented was either via personal discords (in which it should have been dealt with there if you had an issue with it), or through DMs/posts that were intentionally manipulated to be taken out of context.

    Regardless, while BJ is no longer a member of the staff team, a majority of the minge behavior that is supposedly being "reported" is something you all equally partake in. To make a report against him, without any consideration of any conversations, or punishments, that were given behind the scenes (which would have been none of your business as non-exec), is a pretty hypocritical move to make.

    No formal punishment will be given to Bjchoyce, as I believe your public witch-hunt against him was annoying enough to witness. Please refrain from causing another shitshow of a post on the forums, and handle it in a more mature manner in the future. Any further complaints or issues can be dealt with privately via the executive team, AND with the proper evidence.

    While there are some fun aspects about this PR round, there are also some complications as well. This includes how it would actually be coded/implemented, as well as whether or not this round could potentially take too long/lead to delays.

    This suggestion is being accepted for consideration, and will be further discussed. Actual implementation is not guaranteed.
