Buck 0
In-game name: Buck Age: 18 SteamID (https://steamid.io/): STEAM_0:1:562685266 Warns: 0 Timezone: PST Playtime: 105 hours on the server/ 1,800 hours overall on Gmod (90% of it is in RP) Do you have access to a microphone?: YES Do you have the ability to record Garry's Mod videos?: YES (I use medal) Referral(s): N/A Past experience as a Game Master: I was GM on this old server called Revival for 1 years and about 2-3 months. Why should we choose you over other applicants?: I have been on this server for the past few days, and I really enjoy how each battalion has its own unique abilities and strengths. The different roles that each group plays make the experience more immersive and enjoyable. One thing I’ve noticed is that bombers, in particular, don’t seem to have much to do, and I would love to host events where each battalion focuses on its own specialty. It would be great if we could create more opportunities for them to actively contribute. For each event, I envision the 104th dealing with hostages and CG situations, while the 501st and 327th could be in charge of holding off or pushing forward with their armor. The 41st could be assigned the task of scouting. This way, everyone has a role to play, highlighting why each battalion excels in its area of expertise and ensuring that every pilot is engaged and has a purpose in the mission. One main Idea I like to add is having a vote system where the players get to choose the difficulty for example (Easy, Normal, Hard, Insane, Chaos) something like that and the harder it is the less tanks and options they have. Have you ever been banned or punished on any server? If so, Include details: I have not. How much time do you have to contribute to the role?: I am always online daily and I mostly that last person to log off and since I am in PST I can stay up longer then a few people in EST and PST. In your own words, what are the responsibilities of a Gamemaster?: To make sure each player is enjoying their time on the server with fun activities and missions. Describe how you would contribute to RP as a part of the Gamemaster team: to go into detail for ENG and Medical to show the hard work they have but into the certs and training that have done up to that point as well as other RP situations. Explain your single most creative idea for contributing to the RP environment of the server: One main thing I wanna try is having a RP situations with the clone having to deal with PTSD and going on a small PTSD episode on losing their brothers and having to cope with the lost. (for example before commander cody went AWOL he said he had choices and hated those decisions he made. Please list and explain 5 unique event ideas of any scale: [Aim to write at least 1 paragraph (~4 sentences) per event idea, anything less is most likely not detailed enough. Be sure to include any additional context that may be necessary to your explanation.] The planet would be under attack by both CIS forces and a growing rebel faction that opposes both the Separatists and the Republic. The goal of the event is for the clones and the Republic forces to secure the planet and either defeat the CIS or push them into retreat, while dealing with the rebels' resistance efforts. However, things would be complicated by natural disasters that can strike at any time, affecting both the battlefield and the strategies of the factions involved. Key Elements: The CIS Threat: The Separatists would deploy large-scale battle droids, vehicles, and possibly even a few superweapons to hinder the Republic’s efforts. Players acting as clone troopers would have to engage in both small unit tactics and large-scale combat against droid armies. Key objectives would involve securing control points, disabling enemy heavy artillery, and dealing with Separatist command posts. The Rebel Faction: A group of local rebels, who may have previously allied with either faction or fought independently, now threatens both the Republic and Separatists. They would engage in guerilla tactics, using the planet's terrain and environment to their advantage. Players would need to balance their focus between securing the planet from the CIS while also dealing with the unpredictable actions of these rebels—potentially even negotiating with or fighting them based on their own RP goals. Environmental Hazards: Throughout the event, random natural disasters would create extra layers of tension and challenge. For example: Fires could break out in urban areas or forests, blocking paths, damaging equipment, and even causing casualties if not contained. Tornadoes could sweep through parts of the battlefield, knocking over vehicles, causing chaos among the troops, and making some parts of the planet inaccessible until the storm passes. Snowstorms or blizzards could reduce visibility, disorienting forces and forcing players to adapt to difficult travel conditions. These storms might even create avalanches or ice hazards, making certain areas dangerous to traverse. Floods or mudslides in certain parts of the planet could make it impossible for ground vehicles to cross certain terrain, forcing the clones to take longer or more dangerous routes. Tactical Objectives and Roleplay: Players would be divided into squads and given specific missions—some might be tasked with search and rescue operations, retrieving valuable intel, or securing a key communication tower. Others might need to defend supply lines from rebel or CIS sabotage or lead a final charge to take over the enemy’s main stronghold. However, the disasters would complicate these plans, forcing players to constantly adapt. For example, a squad sent to take an enemy base might find their objective surrounded by a wildfire, requiring them to come up with creative strategies to stay alive and accomplish their mission. Incorporating a Flood-like event from Halo into a Star Wars: The Clone Wars-themed RP server would be an exciting twist, adding a horrifying, uncontrollable element to the storyline. Imagine that the Republic or Separatist forces unknowingly encounter a biological weapon or ancient alien parasite on a planet, leading to the outbreak of a Flood-style infestation. This event would drastically shift the course of the battle, introducing an entirely new set of challenges for both the clones and other factions involved. Event Overview: The planet in question could be a mysterious, long-forgotten world with remnants of ancient technology or alien ruins. During a routine operation or as part of a Republic or Separatist military campaign, a clone squad or exploration team accidentally releases a dormant parasitic species. This outbreak quickly spreads, and the clones, along with any remaining civilians, become trapped on the planet, fighting against both the Flood infestation and the hostile forces of the CIS or Rebels. Key Elements: The Flood-Like Parasite: This alien parasite infects living beings, turning them into horrific, mutated creatures that are both highly aggressive and relentless. Once a person is infected, they are transformed into a Flood-like monster, losing their original identity and becoming part of a horrifying swarm. The clones would be tasked with containing the spread of the infection while trying to eliminate the monstrous creatures before they can overrun the planet. These creatures would be fast, strong, and unrelenting, forcing the clones to fight in close quarters and defend themselves from constant attacks. Quarantine Zones and Infection Spread: As the infection spreads, players would have to adapt by setting up quarantine zones and deploying specialized forces to try and contain the outbreak. The Republic would need to coordinate efforts to seal off infected areas, while squads must search for survivors and eliminate the Flood-like creatures. Science teams (players acting as medics, researchers, or engineers) would attempt to discover a cure or countermeasure to slow or stop the infestation, possibly leading to missions to recover valuable data from abandoned research facilities or to extract critical personnel who may have knowledge of the parasite. The Growing Threat: As the Flood-like parasite spreads, the infected creatures would begin to grow in number, forming large hordes that attack in waves. This would force players to fight in tactical positions while trying to avoid being overwhelmed. The environment could be used against the players, such as darkened areas, hallways, and underground bunkers, where the infected could emerge at any time, creating intense, claustrophobic combat situations. Players would need to fortify positions, set traps, and use every tool at their disposal to survive. CIS and Rebel Interference: The CIS and rebel factions, realizing the full scale of the outbreak, would likely seek to control the planet for their own gain. While dealing with the parasite, the clones might have to fight off Separatist droids or rebel factions that see the chaos as an opportunity to strike. Some factions might even seek to harness the Flood-like creatures for their own purposes, making them even more dangerous. There could be rogue elements in both factions trying to exploit the situation, and players could choose to team up or engage in complex alliances with these factions. Desperate Escapes and Sacrifices: As the infection spreads and casualties mount, players would have to make desperate escape plans, trying to get as many survivors off-world as possible. However, certain evacuation points might be overrun or unavailable due to the infestation, forcing the clones to find alternate routes or make sacrifices to allow others to escape. Some clone squads may be tasked with holding off the Flood-like creatures long enough for others to evacuate, resulting in heroic last stands or dramatic escapes under fire. In this Star Wars: The Clone Wars RP event, the Republic sends a team of negotiators, including Jedi and clone officers, to convince the king of a strategically important planet to side with them against the Separatists. The Republic promises protection and resources, while the CIS sends their own negotiator to offer the king freedom and independence from Republic control. Tensions rise as both sides try to persuade the king, but the negotiations break down when the Separatists push too hard, leaving the king uncertain or swayed against the Republic. With diplomacy failing, the Republic and CIS both prepare for battle. The CIS might launch a surprise attack on Republic forces, and the Republic responds, leading to intense fighting across the planet. Clones and battle droids clash in cities and open fields, while the king’s forces either ally with one side or remain neutral. This event creates opportunities for deep roleplay, with characters facing moral dilemmas, emotional conflict, and the fallout from failed diplomacy. The outcome depends on which side wins the battle, with either the Republic or CIS gaining control of the planet, or the planet remaining contested. The 34th Battalion has been called to provide protection on the planet Kyrid, a strategically important world that is experiencing unrest due to the presence of native guerilla fighters. These guerillas oppose both the Republic and the Separatists, fighting for the independence of their planet. The Republic has sent the 34th to ensure the safety of civilians, protect key installations, and maintain order, while dealing with the escalating guerilla conflict. The 34th must navigate the complexities of this mission—keeping a neutral stance while trying to maintain peace, and avoiding direct confrontation with the guerillas unless absolutely necessary. As tensions rise, the guerillas could become more aggressive, launching surprise attacks on Republic positions or sabotaging Republic operations. Meanwhile, the Separatists may try to exploit the situation by offering aid to the guerillas in exchange for support, making it even more difficult for the 34th to stay neutral. The event would focus on the delicate balance the 34th must maintain: patrolling dangerous areas, securing civilian zones, and possibly negotiating with the guerilla leaders to avoid a full-scale insurgency. It could also lead to high-risk missions, where the 34th must protect vital assets or conduct covert operations against Separatist or guerilla forces. The challenges of maintaining peace on Kyrid will test the 34th’s ability to adapt to the unpredictable nature of the war and their role as peacekeepers in a volatile environment. The Republic has received troubling intelligence that a Sith has been spotted on a nearby planet, and with the help of the CIS forces, the Sith has been kidnapping younglings from various settlements. These children are believed to have strong Force sensitivity, making them valuable targets for the Sith’s dark plans. The 34th Battalion has been called to assist in a rescue operation to stop the Sith and free the kidnapped younglings. The operation will require careful coordination, as the CIS forces on the planet are providing protection and logistical support to the Sith, making it a highly dangerous mission. The 34th must infiltrate enemy lines, avoid detection, and locate the Sith’s hideout, all while contending with Separatist droids, mercenaries, and traps set by the Sith. The Jedi Order may also send a few of their own members to assist, but the primary responsibility falls on the 34th to deal with the Separatist forces, secure the children, and confront the Sith. As the battalion advances deeper into enemy territory, they’ll face increasingly dark and dangerous challenges, with the Sith using the kidnapped younglings as bait or pawns in a larger scheme to weaken the Republic. The event would include tense, action-packed combat scenarios against the Separatists, sneak missions to avoid detection, and emotional RP moments where the 34th must protect innocent lives. Players could explore themes of loyalty, sacrifice, and the dark influence of the Sith, with the ultimate goal being to stop the Sith’s plot and save the younglings before it’s too late. Subby 0
+1 The apps great, event ideas are great and would to see some of them play out! The only thing is the playtime on the server which might get it denied or best postponed, but I dunno, for me given some time you'd be great to have on the team with some more time! Acekai 1
+1 from me I like the event ideas the only thing that worry me is your playtime. Link to comment
RJWilson114 3
- 1 onmy for the playtime. Rules state it has to be 8+ days worth on Garnet. Everything else seems great though. Link to comment
StarWarsRP Management Team Jotaro 25 Posted January 3 StarWarsRP Management Team Share Posted January 3 -1 I really don't think you've been around in the community enough to warrant an application. While I applaud your enthusiasm, I feel it may be a bit miss placed. I'd like to see you engage more as a whole, you have solid ideas but I haven't seen a single +1 validating your presence on the server. Link to comment
Laserman 1
-1 This is only due to 20 hours being on server, would love to see more time before an application Link to comment
StarWarsRP Administration Team Zeus 2 Posted January 4 StarWarsRP Administration Team Share Posted January 4 I say you should definitely get more playtime on the server so you can get to know the community a bit more and become more known. Other than that it is a great application! Link to comment
