    • @Candy_I understand what you mean, but I don't want to completely neuter the dragonlore. Like @LoafOfToastsaid, it's a $30 gun, so it makes sense that it should be one of the best weapons on the server - I just think that a reduction of the ammo capacity would at least be a substantial change to the point that it reduces the ability of the dragonlore to "spam," which, in my opinion, a sniper should not be able to do. My issue here IS with the ammo, and I think that a reduction of it would pose to be healthier and fair.    I see where you're coming from, and while I definitely wouldn't complain if the damage or accuracy were nerfed (ESPECIALLY the accuracy firing from the hip), I think those changes would be too drastic for the higher-level community to accept, or even consider. Even an admittedly very small change like this suggestion is already seeing what essentially amounts to involuntary pushback because many people rely heavily on the Dragonlore for all aspects and don't like the idea of it getting nerfed at all. Whether or not those people are using the Dragonlore as a crutch, I don't think that the Dragonlore needs to be heavily nerfed because of them. I just think that a reduced ammo capacity will make people actually use it more like a sniper rifle and not "spam" it at close range.
    • So much response for just a suggestion of lowering the ammo to 5, i mean within of itself lowering the ammo honestly doesn't nerf it since on average players only as you said "1-2 shot capability of the Dragonlore" which maybe in rare cases of the damage being lesser making it 3. I honestly don't think this is a good way to nerf the dragon lore as you want, because your issue within it is not with the ammo, but the damage and accuracy it has, for which causing it to be the all around best option for near all types of combat on the server. I think you need to take a different approach with the Dragonlore nerf suggestions, and maybe suggest something that will actually cause a change in the weapon and not allow it reign supreme as it has for so long.
    • Tragically, quite a bit of @Gildarts reply reads like a shitpost, but I'll try to address it seriously. "Never meant to damage entities" is interesting since, for the 6+ years I've been on this server, that's always what its' done. Not sure if this was just a long development period for it or what, and I understand why the change was made sense, but it is still a donor weapon's functionality being significantly altered, "bug fix" or not. Like I mentioned in the post, the original reason why a lot of people disagreed with the post in 2022 was because "People paid for this item, it shouldn't be radically altered." Well, people paid for nerve gas knowing it damaged players AND entities through walls, and that's changed now, so I felt this was a fair time to re-suggest.     When has there ever been an official "Tier list" for weapons? This is a genuine question, I had no idea there were such things as "Tier 1." Assuming you didn't just make this up, an item being a "higher tier" than another item makes sense -  but I don't think being a "high tier weapon" should make it wholly uncompetitive to play against.     So, the key part of "a bitch gun for bitches" being in quotes is that it was a joke. As for the aim comment, 0 clue where you'd get that, but that's kinda one of my whole points in this argument? One doesn't need to aim well with the dragonlore, because you have 10 whole shots to beef with, when 1 or 2 is all you need. I think raising the skill floor on a gun that's already one of the easiest and highest-damaging weapons would be making it more of a skillful weapon not "me coping because I can't aim well." In fact, it's the opposite - I'm quite confident that I can aim better than a majority of people who regularly use the Dragonlore  Look at the replies to this post (and the one in 2022). @IAreGunner literally said he doesn't want it nerfed because he's ass with it 😭. It's blatantly obvious that these "statistics" are just vibes based, but still, I don't even think it's correct.  Like I mentioned in my original post, the Dragonlore has higher Damage and RANGE than functionally any other weapon on the server. If someone is spraying at you with a machine gun, literally just move back ~10 feet and shoot them where the spread is higher so they're hitting you less. Conversely, if they're right up in your face, it really doesn't matter if you "loft" your first shot, because unlike other snipers, the Dragonlore's hipfire is insanely accurate So no, getting shot at by a machine gun is not a "bad matchup" for the Dragonlore.   I'm not necessarily sure I understand what you're getting at here. Are you saying that weapons that use the same ammo types should have standardized damage? Because I would generally be down for that, however there are certain weapons that would need their ammo type switched (M95 Dragon, F2000). However, that's not the point of my original suggestion, and I feel suggesting that the Dragonlore's damage be directly nerfed would go over a LOT worse than a simple reduction of the ammo capacity.  Pretty obviously a joke, but it's also just not true; in real life or in CS2, unless you found some Temu "universal 30 round drum mag" that doesn't work.       As for the more "simpler" posts on this thread: https://streamable.com/6ix0gb
    • Well heres the thing, Nerve gas to my knowledge was never meant to damage entities... So its a bug fix, not a change. Theres nothing wrong with the d'lore except for it being a T1 Sniper.    You also state its a bitch gun for bitches. What I read is that you can't aim accurately faster than anyone else.   Now if you wanted to debate on "Bullet damage" per type of ammo. That I would listen to. But Based on a tier list with D'lore and M95 being T1 as intended... I can also tell you if you just use a lmg 70% of the time you will win if they loft their first shot.     Also just wanted to add you can always buy a 30 round drum mag for a awp. So maybe we should keep it realistic and add that too.
