    • maybe its time to add a timer, which admins can view in logs. We are also adding mugging logs for staff very soon.  But you just said you do this regardless so it really doesn't change anything. Don't know what your point is here but if you die through other means depending on the scenario its either a reportable offense or you just died 😕 lmao  This would be NLR which is something to be reported and handled. Most admins that play the server frequently are able to hand money back to players (on their own decisions) or the player that broke the rules would receive the proper punishment. You are saying this is exploitable multiple times but refuse to say what specifically is. The point of suggestions is to point out the gaps to make it reasonable. If you just say its exploitable we don't have anywhere to go or change to make it fair/balanced.     Mugging is based on levels, a level 10 player is $1,000. The effect this would have on majority of the player base would be nothing. This I would argue gives elder players more of a reason to go after other elder players. For example @Candy_ is one of the highest prestige players on the server. Its very obvious he wouldn't pay his mug amount on a regular basis so basically mugging him is pointless. But if there was a chance to kill him and earn potentially 200k that would be amazing! Even for lower level players that wanna take a shot at it. See this is the only valid point in this argument you made lmao, this is avoidable by the way. Nutter can make things happen to avoid these issues if most of the community would want to push for this idea.     I rest my case. Thank you
    • +1  this seems really cool and would be a great addition to the server
    • -1 This suggestion has way too many obvious ways to be abused. For instance, how long would the "kill claim" last? Instead of fighting, what if I just run away? Or what if my mugger just runs away and kills me later? One of the most efficient ways (at least I've found) to mug someone is to /mug them, then immediately run away reposition yourself so you can just snipe or ambush them if they say no. Is it pussy? Absolutely. But with this suggestion it turns it from just a janky way to get a kill into a much more valuable option. Other issues are: What if you die by different means than your mugger killing you? What happens if you shoot the mugger before the timer runs out and auto-selects "Do not pay?" If the mugger respawned in time, in theory they could kill you again and still steal the money. This proposed change would just be way too exploitable. Getting mugged effectively would mean that you've already lost the money (inb4 "just kill them") and/or the "elder" players would very likely figure out other ways to avoid losing money, while weaker players now either lose money, or die AND lose money. Even ignoring all the potential ways this could be abused, the premise of being able to have money taken from your account in such a direct manner, and with little agency of your own to determine whether or not you can accept it, is unheard of and would be detrimental to the server's gameplay as a whole. Also, this would make it so that every class would have to buy perks just in case someone decides to mug them, barring classes that can't be mugged. Effectively forcing people who want to play casually to either only play classes that keep them from getting mugged, lest they lose money AND die, or buy perks EVERY TIME just to have a better chance to defend yourself is ridiculous. This is not a good idea at all.   P.S. Mugging AFK players and killing them is already pretty silly, being able to LOSE MONEY off of a "fight" that you have no way to defend yourself against is ridiculous.
    • +1  I think this would bring alot more seriousness to mugging, there are almost no consequences to dying in a mug. - Brian sandwhich
