Without waffling on too much, I'm going to be stepping down from staffing. Life has definitely been having its ups and downs lately and I've definitely been very inactive in Gmod the past half year. I was happy to have spent so much time on the team helping where I could and meeting all sorts of new folks who joined the team, and I hope and pray for the future success of our mods and admins. You guys are awesome and keep the vibes of the server good.

I can't write an entire list of everyone who has helped me along the way or have become friends in that time, but I will at least mention a few of you guys:

-Nutter: Thank you for all the time you've allowed me to spend playing, meeting new people and having a fun attitude about yourself. You're the best server owner I've worked for.

-Merk: You've been very helpful to me in staffing protocol and I can't imagine doing what you do. Hope you have all future success!

-Oyasumi German: I was very happy to have had you train me and I miss seeing you. Thank you for the time we shared!

-Orion: You are the one person I could always play with who wouldn't try to drive me crazy for hours while we farmed. Always love playing with you!

-GamingCarrot: You're a very funny guy and I think you were always someone that would make the server fun to play on!

-Jonnyflame: Always had an easy time talking with you, and you seem like a pretty smart guy!

-BusterBigNut: You helped me a lot when I got admin and your knowledge on the rules was a godsend when I was unsure. Miss seeing you, but hope you're doing well!

-Fat Good Boi: My fellow Canadian, you are chaotic at times but I'm happy to know you. I hope you keep doing good for this community, you've got it!

-Bob the Builder: Love playing with you, and you've got a sharp eye and mind when it came to staffing!

-Schyzo: While I may not always gel 100% with you, I had a great time playing with you and you've been doing a great job holding down your division. Hope you continue to do well!

I'm sorry if I didn't list you here (again, there's a lot of people I've interacted with), but to anyone I've ever talked to, played with or even helped with their staffing duties: Thank you!

This is not me leaving the server forever, I'll be still around. Though I think my staffing days for now are over.

@everyone else I missed

I have been an on again off again gamer of Garnet servers, primarily dark RP! Previously I was a moderator and avid player of IF network dark rp servers. 

Despite my previous affiliations with a rival network, something always kept me coming back to garnet. For me, it's the quality of the player base as well as the moderation team. 

People are simply friendlier and funner here and I count myself lucky to be amongst all of you wonderful people! 

If you catch me on the dark RP server don't hesitate to drop by and say hi I don't bite but I might rdm you if it's funny. Sometimes I have my mic on but usually I'm a text player. 

If you're looking for someone to hang out with, play a game of chess or assassinate a garbo mayor hmu.

I was active six years ago so most of you prob don't remember me, but its good to see the garnut gamers are still going strong! (dont know what happened to MRP tho)

I mostly play DRP, so I will see you fools there!

I haven't been on this account for about six months or so, and I don't believe I have provided any personal updates for quite a long time. I thought to post something in this forum because why not?

For those who do not know me, my name is Jared Cox. I had played stints in mostly MRP during 2016 (when Marines were a thing) and 2020 (when GB and the server was still a thing) respectively. I'm sure some of you may recognize me.

Last May I had graduated university and will begin studying at grad school next month. I am planning on taking security studies for my masters and eventually would like to work in the American intelligence community at some point in my life.

I am now 23 years old and working full-time as a military travel agent mostly assisting the United States Marine Corps. I am with a company that is federally contracted by the U.S. government. It's a bit poetic that I went from goofing around in MRP as a Marine back when I was a freshman in high school, to now genuinely working and assisting active duty/reserve Marines with their travel accommodations. 

I hope everyone here is having at least an okay time in their life, and I'm very excited to see what the newly revamped MRP server will eventually look and play like in the future. Give the new generation of clueless high schoolers a reason to look back on their teenage years just like MRP 1.0 did for so many people familiar with the Garnet community.
