Uh oh, im losing rep fast cause i half-shitposted on a staff app from the other side of the community. I gotta get my alt/friend to +rep all my posts in a short amount of time! I hope I don't get caught! Let me go and -rep the people who actually gave an opinion regarding the matter. seems pretty 300iq to me. pretty low to care about rep that much. sidenote: didn't know if this fit in shitpost or rant, so think of it interchangeable. oatlife staff yes please.

Description: Sometimes when you die and respawn or switch your job, it will spawn you in the ceiling/in the light prop. Sometimes you can alt + E on the light to get un-stuck but there are still times where you can't and have to switch your job. I know this is such a minuscule thing, but it's still annoying getting stuck in the prop or ceiling and having to switch jobs and back. I don't know if this is like a /setspawn issue or if it's the actual spawnpoint compiled in the map, but either way seems like an easy fix. AFAIK this is only a problem Army/Marines are having, I'm not sure if SOC factions are having the same issue or not. Reasoning: Again, this is just a minor bug but I thought I'd make a forum post about it anyway, just in case if it's possible for it to get fixed. It would help out the server so that people don't get stuck anymore and then their forced to switch jobs and back if they can't Alt + E out of the prop. [minimum 2 paragraphs] Well this is going to be a long story. Why i should be chosen over other applicants? Well u shouldn't because i dont have any experience as a staff. But i am very motivated to learn through others and pick up every single information that comes in handy. I love helping others and make them enjoy the server. When i first started, i got raided continously almost made me quit. But then a very very nice person asked me if i wanted to join his base with zero motivation i said yes. After a few days i realized that i stayed because of him asking me to join his base. He was a staff and actually helped me very well. I want the server to grow so my main goal is to help others out so they can (just like me ) help other people out too. Just like a positive chain reaction. I like talking to people and make them feel like they are actually welcome on the server. I think players who have someone they can trust and rely on, whether if its helping them out or learning them stuff, will stay longer and will play longer. Because look at me now having over 200 hours realizing i would've left if the very nice person didn't help me. I will put all my effort in the server and will help everyone as staff. I tried to help some people but since im not staff they won't take me seriously as if i were a staff. See the only problem i'm dealing with is just all the lawbreakers. They ruin the game for others and i just want to make sure the game is enjoyable for everyone. So at the end i think i would be a pretty good staff even though im not experienced. I would enjoy being a staff and try to make the server enjoyable as much as possible too. I enjoy helping others and make them feel good. That's why i also donate really much to the server i support the server with all my heart. I also give (too much in my opinion) money to hobos. Making players happy makes me happy aswell :). because i cheat in csgo. that's irrelavent to this game like I said. It had nothing to do with GMOD. I would tell you what games im Pro in, but then I would be contradicting my statement. I would like to see the evidence also.

From what I heard or remember hearing when the spawns were being set the !setspawn broke mid-way through and thus couldn't be fixed right away. I believe this is the actual addon that is on the server that allows SA to set it manually like we did on the CSD event and for the most part setting spawns into the actual map don't necessarily work since specific jobs have specific spawns and from what I remember you can't assign those through the actual map files since for the most part, those jobs don't exist when editing map files. Again, it's a simple way to get out of it but it makes US sometimes go from a 5 second respawn to a 10 second respawn when you take into account, sitting and standing up, job swap delay and staff responding to the situation. It also is a pretty bad experience for newer players that see the glitch and just sit their eternally thinking they are doomed and don't know how staff chat works yet. +1 to be fixed, if it can be at the moment.
