In-game name: 327th SFC 2430 Golfy Age: 19 SteamID (https://steamid.io/): STEAM_0:0:460000222 Warns: 0 Timezone: EST Playtime?: 1500 HRS on Gmod 2D 20 HRS on server Do you have access to TeamSpeak and a microphone?: YES Do you have the ability to record Garry's Mod videos?:YES Referral(s): [What administrator recommended you to apply?] Jotaro, Past experiences as a Game Master: [Optional] MRP Why should we choose you over other applicants? [minimum 2 paragraphs]: In the context of applying for a GM position on this server, my background as a seasoned GM in MilRP brings unique advantages. While the settings differ, the core skills required such as world-building, character development, and player interaction- are transferrable between servers. Having 1300 hours on MilRP along with being a former GM I have learned how to immerse players in both diverse dynamics and narratives. This depth of experience equips me with a solid foundation to transition into the challenges of being a GM in SWRP. Furthermore, my tenure as a GM reflects a deep passion for immersion and dedication to creating memorable experiences for the player base. In the SWRP universe, my commitment to authenticity and attention to detail will further elevate the gaming experience. I understand the importance of maintaining continuity within lore, while also allowing room for player creativity. By leveraging my MRP GM experience I believe that I can deliver a positive RP experience on SWRP players. Have you ever been banned or punished on any server? If so, Include details NO How much time do you have to contribute to the role?: I can contribute 2-3 events a week. In your own words, what are the responsibilities of a Gamemaster?: The responsibilities of a GM are mainly to keep the player base entertained and wanting to return to the server that you are on by creating unique RP scenarios for everyone to enjoy. Describe how you would contribute to RP as a part of the Gamemaster team: I would contribute by both correlating events and assisting in them at least 2 times a week. I know that there are not a lot of activities/missions hosted for my batt, so I also plan to make activities and batt missions to help my batt activity out. Explain your single most creative idea for contributing to the RP environment of the server: I plan on having a 327th mission that would use everyone who attends the mission. What I mean by this is every single person will get a chance to be hands-on in the mission and not just shoot droids or do perimeter checks. The mission will be evenly distributed. Now the mission itself will be about an assault on an on-base FOB that was taken over by the CIS. The CIS planned to get on-world and plant a large bomb to take out everything within a 500-mile radius. Now I will utilize everyone by using their certs. There will be human CIS officers that get injured that the medics have to tend to, EOD has to defuse the bomb, and engineers will need to use their fusion cutters to repair the sabotaged FOB. Please list and explain 5 unique event ideas of any scale: [Be sure to include any additional context that may be necessary to your explanation] 1. EOD mission: A commando droid had snuck its way into our base and planted 8 bombs around the entire base. It was up to EOD to split up and defuse the bombs (The bombs would utilize EOD certifications too) 2. On-world base attack: A CIS ship had run low on fuel and had to hover above our planet. It wasn't any small ship, but a frigate that was carrying mass amounts of Separatist droids and land vehicles. In fear for their safety, the CIS now had released all of their land vehicles onto our planet and were tasked with destroying us by any means possible. It is up to us to defend our base. 3. 327th training: I will setup obstacles on an even level playing field where 327th will work on their PVP ability. I will be challenging them to use different weapons each time and I may even utilize medrp when someone loses to help strengthen the 327th medrp ability. 4. CG passive mission: A ship had randomly gotten out of hyperspace and was declaring an emergency landing. Upon landing, CG took the individual into custody and searched their ship. Upon searching the ship and searching the individual, the person was wanted by the Republic for espionage. CG then interrogated the person and found out that the person didn't crash land on our planet, but had done it on purpose. The person's ship was rigged with cameras and intel that were automatically sent to the CIS upon taking pictures of our base. CG then deemed that this person was too dangerous to live as the traitor had cost thousands of clone lives throughout the Republic War. They executed the person. 5. 327th training but with real rp scenarios: I plan to have a 327th training that utilizes GM powers to set up a small scenario. This scenario involves rescuing a Republic advisor who had been kidnapped mid-transport and taken to a CIS base for interrogation. The 327th troopers are going to be challenged with taking 4 man squads in at a time and only being able to use their primary weapons and certification abilities. It is up to the 327th to divide their people equally based on certs. This training should both challenge and strengthen strategy, communication, and battle performance.
  2. A side note to my application, I will keep a promise to make some sort of campaign that involves both factions once a week in hopes to try to bring the server pop back up as lately it hasn’t been up like it used to be. This campaign will involve both factions and sometimes they will work together, and sometimes they will be against each other but this will be much more than just people fighting each other. There’s a storyline to it.
  3. In-game name: Golfy Age: 17 SteamID (https://steamid.io/):STEAM_0:0:460000222 Warns: 2 Timezone: EST Playtime?: 801:26:56 Do you have access to TeamSpeak and a microphone?: YES Do you have the ability to record Garry's Mod videos?:YES Referral(s): N/A Past experiences as a Game Master: I was a GM a little over 4 months ago. I was active and all, but I just left the server due to irl things coming up and it took a lot of my time previously. Why should we choose you over other applicants? [minimum 2 paragraphs] I think that I should be chosen for Gamemaster for a multitude of reasons. The first of these reasons is because I am very active again on the server. The big reason I had to step down when I did previously, is mainly because my papaw passed away and things got hard on my family so I had to step up to work more and help my mamaw care for our two girls we live with. The next reason is because I have experience. I was previously a GM and I had a lot of events and my mind was constantly turning to try to think of the next event that I would represent. I did events like leading the VIP, I did hostage trade offs, I even had this series of events that I did involving a lab experiment gone wrong. Another reason that I think I would be a good fit for the GM spot is because I know a majority of the player base. I know people like Milky, Wyatt, and lots of other people that currently play the server. I try to be nice as possible, which bring me to my next reason, I am level headed. I can keep my cool and my temper is almost nonexistent. If someone says something that they shouldn't or someone has an action they aren't supposed to do, I will just report without me saying anything because that isn't my job. I am supposed to keep players entertained and I am almost like a diplomat if you will. I try to be good to the people of the server through being a GM. Overall, I think I should be chosen because I am active, I have experience, and because I am level headed. How much time do you have to contribute to the role?: I will contribute around 2 hours per day on the role and try to make at least one event happen a day. In your own words, what are the responsibilities of a Gamemaster?: Being a gamemaster is something that only few people can do. A GM has multiple responsibilities including keeping people entertained and providing events for the members of MilRP. Describe how you would contribute to RP as a part of the Gamemaster team: I would contribute to the team by being active, helping out in any way possible, and I will interact with members to create connections for people to join the server and have a drive to keep playing. Please list and explain 3 unique event ideas designed for only your faction to take part in: [Be sure to include any additional context that may be necessary to your explanation] The first event goes along the lines of the U.S. being spied upon. The U.S. sees on the radar that there are two small aircraft coming toward our airspace, so in turn, we scramble AFSOC to intercept and possibly take down the aircraft and report back to command about what happened. In the midst of all this, we get an airstrike called upon us and everyone has 10 seconds to hide. After the bombs drop, Russian fighters move into the FOB and we have to take out the forces and get our base back. Another event is that the U.S. has talks with Ukraine about Russian plans to make an invasion into Europe. We meet at a place on the map with our contact to pay him for the information. As soon as we get there, we immediately get ambushed by Russian fighters and we have to fight them off and get back to base with the information the contact had. The third event is a game of the price is right. We will bring various items onto a table in an arena that we build and people have to try to guess the "price" of that item and if they get it right, they get the item which can be either turned in for cash, or they can trade for other items at the end of the show for their bunks. Please list and explain 1 unique global event idea designed for the entire server to take part in: [Be sure to include any additional context that may be necessary to your explanation] This global event is one that is rather unusual. The people of both factions must team up to fight against a common enemy, North Korea. Kim Jong Un has gotten sick recently, and to kick things off before he dies, is to nuke Afghanistan. But here is the thing, FOB Omega is still in Afghanistan, so we have to take cover until after the nuke, then we all have to report to our battle stations in the US FOB and fight off North Korean fighters (North Korea took over the Tali Base, so we are all at US FOB) to keep our FOB and then we are going to retaliate and take Tali base back. Thank you for applying to Garnet MilitaryRP!

  5. Yessir sorry about that. I skipped around a little bit.
  6. Is this my denial to GM? I am a bit confused
  7. I could also use a faction only event to where comms is absolutely rigged with enemy forces (npcs) and they are defending a valuable asset and the ru must save the hostage and gain all valuable information that the asset knows to use it to defend against future threats. This event could be tied to others and have the ru work together and adapt against this enemy force to help predict their future plans and to prevent the future operations from starting. This could be chosen by the members of the ru for there would be multiple operations and choices to choose from and we let the community decide on what happens in the event next such as voting in the ooc chat.
  8. I will change up the events and think to create some more events that will be realistic for everyone. Sorry about the non rp ones. its just that some of them aren't always rp I got confused by accident, I do apologize. I could change up one of the Faction-only events to an event where there is a spy around the map and there are hints by locals at his location to where there are Ru or US members trying to neutralize or recollect the spy and put him away forever. There could be npcs guarding the spy and his location to where the RU or US faction has to work together to eliminate the threats also.
  9. In-game name: Golfy Age: 16 SteamID (https://steamid.io/):STEAM_0:0:460000222 Warns: 0 Timezone: EST Playtime?: 286 hrs Do you have access to TeamSpeak and a microphone?: YES Do you have the ability to record Garry's Mod videos?:YES Referral(s): Statiic Past experiences as a Game Master: Not any as an actual GM, however I have coordinated events and GMs have helped me bring those to life. Why should we choose you over other applicants? [minimum 2 paragraphs] I think that I should be chosen for Gamemaster for a multitude of reasons. The first of these reasons is due to the fact that I have a really good imagination and that I am creative. When I coordinated my first event, me and Statiic worked hand in hand to improve and bring the operation/event to life. The second reason that I think that I should be Gamemaster is because I am knowledgeable of the server and the items that we use in the game. I know how our system works and I know whether an item would be both realistic and fun or not depending on that item and how our system works hand in hand with it. I would try to make sure that the scenarios are both realistic and fun as possible so that everyone has a good time. The third reason that I think that I should be chosen as a Gamemaster is because I am active. I think that it is obvious that getting 280 hours isn’t an easy task, so I think that shows that I am dedicated to the server and that I am trying to work around the clock to make sure that the server is enjoyable for everyone whether it be trying to coordinate an event, or whether it be trying to just play the server and get rid of the minges for everyone’s benefit. I think that these tasks are both beneficial to the server, and are important as a whole. My fourth and final most important reason I should be chosen over other applicants is because I am a nice guy. Being nice is ultimately not going to be required in most places you go, I know it is recommended and all, but most places won’t require it. I am able to keep a calm temper and I want to make sure that people know that the gamemasters aren’t jerks, we are people just like them, we are people putting in countless amounts of hours to make sure that everyone has fun and I really want people to think about that and to see that we truly care about the community and that we don’t just do these events for our pure amusement. Have you ever been banned or punished on any server? If so, Include details NO How much time do you have to contribute to the role?: I will contribute around 2 hours per day on the role and try to make at least one event happen a day. In your own words, what are the responsibilities of a Gamemaster?: In my own words, I think that the responsibilities of a gamemaster are for everyone to have fun, everyone is active, and ultimately to bring everyone together and be a platform for the community to become closer together and friends. Describe how you would contribute to RP as a part of the Gamemaster team: I would contribute to the team by being active, doing events often, and making sure that the community enjoys the server. Please list and explain 3 unique event ideas designed for only your faction to take part in: [Be sure to include any additional context that may be necessary to your explanation] The first event would be where there is an MI6 operative that sneaks into the RU base and has stolen some launch codes. The RU end goal is to eliminate the operative and get the launch codes back. This should be a chase around the map where RU has tips from locals as to where the operative is heading and if the operative isn't captured in time, they escape with launch codes and a part two will be conducted after the war to where the operative comes back to sell the launch codes back and we have to agree, but when they meet, the RU kils the operative and takes the codes back. The second event is where there are multiple RU patrols around the map. There are certain encounters called in comms to where there are certain teams that respond to the places to eliminate the threats. This could be something along the lines of comms being taken over by enemies and needs to be taken back so that the RU can contact higher command. The third and final event, is when there are multiple rioters at the RU base. These rioters will test RU knowledge of when to and when not to shoot. These rioters will throw rocks at the RU. The RU main objective is to make sure the FOB is not taken over or infiltrated and the local's objective is to try to do both. Please list and explain 1 unique global event idea designed for the entire server to take part in: [Be sure to include any additional context that may be necessary to your explanation] One global event I would like for the whole server to take part in would be an event based on information. There would be a helicopter flying some information to the RU base on the Americans that could drastically alter the war between the RU and US. This information is based on where their troops are placed. When the RU helicopter is flying near the US base, they are shot down by US air defense systems and the information is still stuck in the helicopter when they crash. The helicopter sends out an emergency SOS signal to the RU FOB and the Marshal intercepts the message. RU sends out a convoy of military vehicles and their main objective is to secure the area and obtain the information and bring it back to the RU FOB at all costs. Meanwhile, the US had known of these plans in RU hands for a long time and now was their time to shine. So, they sent out a few helicopters and a convoy to intercept the RU heli that had the information and to retrieve the plans and bring them to the US FOB at all costs. So long story short, both tides battle it out for an advantage at the next war. If the US wins, they get their intel back and the RU don’t have an advantage for the next war. If the RU wins, then the US would have to put all their comms in OOC for the entirety of the war following the event. Thank you for applying to Garnet MilitaryRP!
