That’s literally how a manager acts. Remember when proggy raided someone because they weren’t taking sits and everyone thought it was funny instead of saying proggy is an a-hole? You of all people should have been able to see what happens when staff abuse goes unattended. Dude should have just bailed him and asked questions. Lest others start checking in on prisoners the same way too. But you calling glorb an a-hole is just you being smooth brain. Glorb literally hasn’t changed since manager, if you actually knew him you’d know he’s always been a good staff manager even before he was manager. That’s literally why he got the position. This is like a robber calling a cop an asshole for arresting him. Especially since you’ve always been in trouble.

this describes two types of players and after knoxx's reply i believe they both play important roles but ultimately its up to those who want to help AND fit those criteria. for those of us who do like to socialize and be welcomers into our community we should base closer in downtown as you said. we should be in every event we want to play in. we should help players and introduce them to people that fit their playstyle. i felt like i put blame to those who just wanted to play the game as its meta. i now think those that grind play a huge part in the overall investment of this server and having them play and be able to settle in with no expectation or pressure is exactly how we should treat those people. its a symbiotic relationship that we need. we as the RPers will do what we do and just have as much fun as we can being stupid in the streets.

this is what knoxx was talking about and while i do appreciate hearing the input in order to understand better i do think the attitude is counterintuitive to what were trying to do here. i do agree that there is such thing as the sunk cost fallacy which makes it astronomically more difficult to start over but keep in mind you are not losing any sort of investment. dark RP will always be there. there will always be pop trends as knoxx mentioned but there is no investment lost, simply another oppurtunity available. and i would get if someone invested in darkRP wouldnt play city until they see city is more reliable. i can guarantee you the conversation with any alter on city is "yea i would play it but..." and addressing those issues would help the population in order to give us the chance of retention.

This is a brand new server and people are actively trying to keep it up same as DarkRP when a newbie sees it has 120 people on it. There is no difference other then the community supporting it so the players who don't play garnet come and join. You get no where sitting and watching. Everything has a part on the server weather you're printing, someone is trying to raid you to take the printers, from you to the cops watching it all go down with his 4 friends ready to arrest them all again to the minge in the fire truck / bus trying to run the cops over......because of stupidity. It might not all play well together sometimes but it what makes the server go... same as dark RP when staff are flooded with sits that spawn is blocked by minge army while theres a lockdown happening at a pop of 100.
i absolutely love the level understanding here and ive decided to adopt that. thank you. i think that youre right, everybody plays a role in this community and the interactivity we get helps, period. i think we could take it a step further and identify our roles and organize. Flame has been doing awesome events and im sure once proggy gets back we can have more SA events and such and that helps ESPECIALLY in high pops. thats whats going to keep me coming back tomorrow and hoping for something else cool to happen. Seeing people get ran over by minges is funny and even they have a place in the server so long as it doesnt go too far. most people are cool and tone it down once you say something or just get in a roof and the mods handle the situation, let everyone know it was just alot of goofing and continue on as pals.

I think we should start using the suggestions page as you said and see if we can use that as a platform to figure out a good compromise. i think the casino is a pretty good comparison of how much an RP class should make. i have a few spreadsheets of 70-140 spins each from the roulette table and i can net +$1m in an hour and a half to 2 hours. compare that to a garbage man speedrunning trash with x10 amounts or hobos doing dumpsters with like a 1/132 odds of getting a 50k wallet in the trash or however the balanacing may need to be done.

I know I'll be trying to play my part in being active, hopefully providing things to do for the players, and of course still farming printers. imma have to concede on that one and say you right. i make pretty good bank on roulette most the time since printing is really my thing. thinking about it, yea youre right, printing is the core of the d/crp games and its not fair to blame those who are. my concern just stems from keeping players on and giving them incentive to hang around. i guess i just dont think people printing is entertaining anyone but its not peoples job to entertain others when playing a game. i choose to use my efforts to help the server in ways that i feel are beneficial but some folk just only like to raid and the basers help with that incentive for those types of players. my bad for sounding like a douche

seriously, we were at max pop for a day or two and then what happened? its like a troll. like the people who told sony to bring back morbius just to fuck with them.
the only people who want to play on cityRP dont even want to RP. why do we have a court, a taco bell, a cinema, a fire station, a bus station, multiple gas stations, and more if nobody is going to use them? instead people use firefighter to just get a fire truck and run people over, same with garbage man.
The server is only back because people demand it, garnet didnt even want to keep the donation store up. people got to play for 3 days then just vanished.
Some members of GG are treating the server like a free for all and fucking with anybody new so theres literally no retention when it comes to new population. bitch about bringing it back then offer no support.
its just people printing and doing nothing. I sell my printers and try to make the place more enjoyable and interact with people to keep that retention. giving out money, running the roulette wheel and calling big wins for anyone in the viscinity, RP at the gun stores and buy folks guns. its just disheartening to play last time it was up while it was a ghost town, falling in love with the idea, then getting a chance to help it grow and everything is completely out of control.

Why should we choose you over other applicants? [minimum 2 paragraphs]cityrp is back baby and I’d like to see it stay that way! So you know imma say I’m on at late times, I care about the server, yada yada. BUT did you know I wanna GM too? Most likely if you know who I am. I’ve been on DRP for a little over a year now, can’t really seem to stay away from it for too long. So coming from that game with very similar rules I think I already got a basic understanding of what’s to be expected of me as mod. I also understand the importance of evidence gathering and double checking your commands to minimize error.
I feel having prior experience lets me get through the sits pretty fluidly, usually if I’m hung up on one it’s cus I’m waiting for evidence or I gotta waste time cus someone wants to Be difficult. I always try to make sure the sit ends with everyone friends at the end, or Atleast an amicable outcome so as to deter any kind of further harassment or issues. You don’t want to have to ban either dude but neither dude can respond aggressively after a sit so it helps if you calm em down and get everyone sitcheeated. In conclusion; I wanna be staff, man.

my point was that higher prop during low pop is incentivization for our mornings to get stormed by chads and making great bases with high prop count that stay up most of the day other due to afk or theyve been grinding that long. having the prop count on ammo and making it dynamic was the sexiest choice the blood diamond ever made. i think without realizing it they made the healthiest tool for the server. its like printers, youre incentivized to stay online by selling printers and in turn that helps population. our lowest pops are in the mornings and the dynamic prop count promotes getting in on those times.

I would like to preface this by saying i do not recognize any of this as a competent piece of work, that being said-
I have been playing music on this server for over a year now and everyone has been so supportive. It has really made me happy to sing and play for everyone and be able to chill and hang out. I like being the jukebox in the background for people. Despite for as long as I've played I never really cared or been able to try to record anything. My setup is a webcam from like 2009 and a Pokemon card tin that I sit on my X button to use push to talk so I worked with what I had.
With all the jokes of soundcloud, spotify, and youtube I've caved and decided to catalogue some of the songs that I've enjoyed playing on the server and sharing some I've never played before.
I have no personal experience recording, despite working around other people who did. I simply hit record and then exported the files lol. Some of these are taken from clips in game and some are recordings I've taken independently.Shoutouts to the FAP boys for being the greatest gang of homies! @Shin_Tsukimi @WreckEMsaints @Glorbnob @ShankNinja @TheDudeAbidesV3 @DrCloudyJuice & Dark@Titan1

-1 Toddd has left with a few bad impressions. I do feel for Him, a lot of his issues back in the razor days were others bullying him, but he was still nice. Unfortunately sometimes it feels like he’s turned that bullying outward now. My interactions with Toddd have been minute and chill although I do know a lot of people have had it with random comments from him and his attitude. He used to be super chill but he could also randomly outburst at any moment. Sorry toddd. Hang around a bit and be cool again.

I'm glad you were here to help the server though. glad you were such a prominent face in this community. I remember when all that chrisx drama happened and you were the only one to have my back even after sending evidence to other staff. you are the only reason I came back after that and I'm glad I did. got to meet all the fap boys and i made some of the best friends ever. remember when we were fishing and you were only 70%? full hundo % buddy. also, thanks for helping me be sober! 5 months my man! you're a fucking amazing friend, you're a super fucking amazing brother, and even though we all acted like you were gonna be gone forever we know you cant really leave. shank is the only one with the antidote. 2 years of hard work. 2 years of never stopping. 2 years of being everyone's best friend in this community.
