I'm not sure why this is archived but I think it'd be really cool to open it back up. I was going through some pages on the forums that I had never used and saw this. I have some cool screenshots that I was going to post and was disappointed to see the thread closed. It'd be cool to have this available to the community.

To verify your in it, you'd have to link a sort of hook from TeamSpeak to steam and from the gmod server to TeamSpeak. The sort of system that would be required are atleast to my knowledge, outside of the realm of possibility for the server.

That's why I added that I wasn't sure if this is possible to implement, in my original post. However if it were possible, I'm not sure if it is or not still, I think it would grow the Garnet community a bunch. There would be more reason to give the other servers a shot, since many only stick to one server. It would also grow the Discord and the Teamspeak. I completely understand what you're saying though.

edit: It could totally be done for the forums, at the very least. The forums are already linked to your steam account, that's why you can buy things here and they're added to your gmod account. I also believe it could be done for playing on other Garnet gmod servers. As for Discord and Teamspeak, maybe not.

[Idea for new items in the f8 menu]

After seeing that not all items in the f8 menu are bought with points, like the Halloween event items. I got to thinking about other ways items could be put into the game that are also earned as opposed to bought with points. I think it would be cool to find a way to make an earnable item for joining the TeamSpeak or Discord, maybe one for joining the forums, or playing other garnet gmod servers. There could be one related to the SWRP server, City RP server, TTT Server, or even the Garnet servers on other games. I'm not sure if this is even possible to implement but I figured I'd throw it out there.

What happened? (include any proof):  the server had been crashing all night and it was late, and so the server had 15 players on at the time. i decided to go through my 50 and 70 prop dupes since i dont get to see them often and i spawned one in that i made a long time ago in a friends base. the dupe is just 50 vending machine props. i spawned it on the street not really thinking about it since i was only going to look at it for a second as i was scrolling through dupes and even if i was reported in the small amount of time i had it up i would just delete it, no harm no foul. however i immediately crashed and my game locked up to i couldn't delete it or even leave the game which i have a clip of here: 

Why should your ban be removed?: i really think if it werent for this crash the sit wouldve just consisted of me being asked to delete the vending machines and moving on. i had no way of anticipating my game freezing with these props on the street.

I really like the idea of a higher prop limit, as I love building big bases. However if it would be hard to implement without lagging the server than I’d rather just leave it as is.

+1 this would make playing hitman a lot more fun, especially if you could see how many other hitmen have accepted the same hit.

+1 I really like this idea, I think it would fit right in with the chess and checker boards. It’d be fun to use it as a way to gamble with friends as well.

What happened?

I was basing with a group of people who were arguing with another group of players in OOC, for the most part I stayed out of it and didn't really pay it any mind since that's not what I'm on the server to do. It went on for a while until one of the players decided to play as a hobo and prop block the base that I was in. However there was a loophole in that it was possible to get through to the quickdoors, there was just a little 'maze' like hobo hut in front of it, which can be seen here -> https://streamable.com/0u5sn6 . After reporting it several times and going back on forth, the staff team decided that it wasn't breaking any rules. While I agree that there is no specific rule in the MOTD against it, I think everyone would agree that this is very mingy and toxic. While I'm not sure if anyone can do anything about this since, again, it's not breaking any specific rule. I posted this because wanted a higher-up's opinion on this for future reference, not only for myself, but for other staff members as well., since nobody who was on really knew how to deal with the situation. Things like this feel like a grey area where most staff see and understand this as toxic but cannot punish due to the MOTD not having any information on what this would be. Thanks.

                 While I don't have much time on this server yet I have over 2000 hours on Garnet's DarkRP server and have been staffing on there for around 3 months now. After reading through the rules I've come to understand that they are very similar to DarkRP, which I already know very well. While I don't have much experience on this server yet, I already know many of the regular players and I like to think that I share the respect of most of them as I don't think I am a toxic player. I have never been one to get into arguments or 'beefs' with any other players or staff members and the few issues I have had with other players are usually misunderstandings that have been easily dealt with through PMs.  I think that with many of the DarkRP staff members switching over and staffing on City RP I would already know many of the staff on CityRP and would fit right into the staff team.

                 I believe I'm ready to dual staff since I have always had well over the amount of sits needed each month on DarkRP and fitting in another server would be no issue for me. I have already gone through DarkRP training and so I have (I believe) all of the required binds as well as access to teamspeak and recording software. If you were to accept my staff application I really think that I would be a great fit as well as a very productive member of the staff team on both CityRP and DarkRP with no issues in balancing the two.
    Have you ever been banned or punished on any server?  I was banned on DarkRP for Nitrp, I had a hit on someone who was AFK and prop blocked, after reporting the player and getting no response I decided to nerve gas that player and kill my player through console over and over and on the last nerve gas the hit timed out but I threw it anyways out of frustration, I understand that this was toxic and a bad look on the server and so I took the ban without appealing it.

    How much time do you have to contribute to the role?: I work a job part time and I'm in college but I find several hours every day to spend on both CityRP and DarkRP and have for over a year now, I can contribute a lot of time. 
    If you have any, what hobbies or activities are you involved in outside of Garry's Mod? I play several instruments and produce tracks with my friends, I'm also getting into exercise and general health stuff.

What happened? (include any proof): I raided a base while I was a spartan as I forgot what class I was playing. While raiding I killed the players in the base, because I was raiding.

Why should your ban be removed?:I know that me forgetting what class I was playing as doesn't matter in this situation as I still was at fault, however, I think it'd be fair to ask that my ban be shortened to whatever the ban time is for unintentional RDM as I believed I was in a raid and did not RDM purposefully. Again, I understand that I am in the wrong but banning for MRDM, in my opinion, should be used on players trying to ruin the game for others, which was never my intention. I hope you can be understanding to the situation, Thank you.
