Welp, here I go.
Who am I?
I am TheExaltedPrime/Billy and I run/manage the IT infrastructure for a land development company in the B.C region of Canada. I have multiple employees under me, either it being software developers, contractors and even social media influencers, I lead them to the point where some of them are even older than me (The oldest I can legally boss around is 64 years old) It can entail to either telling people to roll out app updates to payroll app updates, tracking employees and doing employee exercises and even community games. (Yes, sometimes even firing people but I rarely do that, and when I say rarely, I never fired anyone without getting their side of the story and listening and seeing what I can do to change their attitude and if they can't change, I'll shuffle them around to not have to do the stuff they were doing and get them to do other projects, and if that fails then I will let them go) (I highly recommend getting into the IT field, it's a fun field and if you love computers, it's an awesome foothold into software engineering and even network engineering)
I also ran and sold multiple game servers (High and low pop servers) and have experience running/building servers for big companies. I even ran my own hosting company back in late 2012/early 2013.
Why do I aim to manage Garnet?
I feel that current situations, people lack vision, it's just a game, to me, it's an opportunity to grow a community into something big, something known. It's ability to go after the 99, while people worry about the 1. I want to see the community grow. I want to see changes happen and to be able to make those changes. To be firm but understanding and to be just but gentle. GarnetGaming isn't just a means for money, it's a means for people to come and be themselves, and right now, it seems people cant even do that. I want to change that. I want someone to log in and be like "Aight bois, see ya tomorrow and be on tomorrow with their friends" not "Aight man, I guess I'll see you on the server in a few days" and log off. I want it to be memorable. That's my goal.
Do you have any previous bans and problems with staff?
Yup! I got banned for Overteaming on Rust and MRDM on DRP but hey, who hasn't been banned? Does it define you? No, but the experience strengthens you. I mean, I made a huge thread on what should change in Rust and my DRP thread is coming soon as well.
What sets you aside from every other applicant?
A few things like my voice. I want it to be heard, I will stop at nothing to talk to you, and when I do, I will talk your ear off. I want to make things better, and if I have an idea, I am not afraid to say it. I also want to say my tenacity to get things done. I will spend every waking hour doing something I see as productive and make sure it can help someone. Say for example a new rule. I will comb the threads of past appeals, past bans or past discussions and make a new rule so people can ban off of it, or people can follow it, so there is no confusion in the future, that's how dedicated I am. I also want to say my gentleness and looking out for my fellow player.
We have been hit hard this year with the passing of two amazing team members, and I want to make it my mission to reach out to everyone if I hear you are having a rough time. We are in this together, and I will not, and I mean will not, bury another soldier in the back in this everlasting war against the darkness if I can change the outcome.
But if I don't get Manager, then GGs on top, firm handshakes, I will still be here to make long posts and being an ear for the community, my works and my actions do not count as much as my faith towards this community and it's members.
We can do this, and we can do this together. In my eyes, we all are managers.

-1 one for me. I believe in all people becoming staff, and especially at your age, being staff is a huge undertaking, to be there for other people and to be an example.
Your chat logs are a bit....toxic, and mind you, this is Rust, but how are you going to mute someone for the exact same thing you were muted for?
I personally, and this is just me, would love to see you reapply, and be a bit more active in the community, maybe look at other applicants and see how they are with other people, and learn from them.

What is your total playtime on Rust?:I think around 290 plus another 5k on other accounts that I have either sold, lost the password or forgotten of.
What is your playtime on our Rust servers?[/s]:116 Hours, 43 minutes and 33 seconds as of this moment.
I do hope to get my hours up as well and play on any/all servers, but Oscar is my main server at the moment, so I love playing on it.
Do you have access to Discord/TeamSpeak and a microphone?:I do! I honestly believe communication is key, and have it for people to reach out to staff as well if they have issues. My only issue is the fact of having people message you, in which I have it where you need to be a friend to message me, which I can turn off for Garnett, in the possibility I get accepted.
Do you have the ability to screen record whilst playing Rust?:Yes I do! I stream on FB, and use OBS a lot, and sometimes have recordings for 18 hours at a time, and can clip and save many things if I'm on, and save the videos if something happens. My computer is very powerful, so clipping and grabbing clips is as easy as counting to one, two and three. I also stream, and can be live for 10 hours at a time, being a bot.

I did not get recommended by any of the staff, but would love to get to know them a bit better, seeing as they are always on and willing to take my many tickets towards kids being toxic and what not. Maybe one day we can hang out and get some coffee and some Tims and be a good and happy family of smelly rust players.
Did a moderator/admin help you apply?:Not at all, I feel like looking at all the previous applicants has helped me make a better application now. They made me self introspect my application and find out what is wrong, so in a sense, staff did help me with my paragraphs and getting an idea of what they want from an applicant such as my self, and hopefully in the future, I myself can provide the keys to success of becoming staff on the server.
Past experiences as staff: [Optional]I was a Rust Admin on a OTV server, and a few smaller scaled ones that were 2x, 5x and a 10x server. Nothing too, too special in terms of staffing. I would say the most significant thing staffing was the people. So many people who you meet are super funny or super cringe. Half the time it's really nice people who just want to see the Rust experience for themselves and not get called any names, others it's the way of life to get door-camped for 8 hours a day, or for some, it's being the Alpha on the server and just outsmarting everyone, or maybe it's the grub primlocked kids yelling and being toxic for the memes and being a bot, maybe that fits you. Me? I like sitting there talking to people and helping people out, giving people loot and being a genuine person. So that's my whole Rust staff experience.
Why should we choose you over other applicants? [minimum 2 paragraphs]Hm that's a tricky question. I would have to say my charm, my talkative personality and my genuine concern for the wellbeing of others. Let me explain here: It takes a lot, and I mean a LOT, to be staff, the suggestion I made in discord was not ill towards staff, it was a genuine concern of peoples attitudes, and the way staff members were either handling/dealing with people and handling their personal life. If you have no sleep, and you are staffing, get some sleep, deal with it in the morning. Another thing I want to say about this is being staff is a tough responsibility. It's like you are known to put the community above all else, and represent it the best way you can. I don't promote mods in my stream unless they look out for the best of me, and my content.
So why should I be moderator? I hold all that to a T, I want to live and breathe Garnett, and serve the community as a whole. I believe in a whole hearted way that these servers can go places, and can pull in some serious traction here. I don't plan on leaving, nor do I plan on putting Rust away. I do feel an obligation to serve, and wish to serve Garnett with my absolute best, and read and throw in suggestions for staff (Maybe even rewrite some of the rules and help organize staff a bit) and represent people more in the community.
Have you made any previous applications, If so when?:Yes, on June 29th, I got a ton of hours since then, and rewrote my application as Choppy and other staff members have said and were giving positive feedback about it. I really do appreciate the feedback guys, and hopefully with this application, I can prove my worth and give some time in making sure the server is moderated well and give support fast with the times I am up.
I also do hope to see many others use my template as a way to get staff as well, and to maybe inspire more and more people to actually take time and do their applications with gusto and originality, as it can really, really help out your chances of getting staff. Be vigilant and be helpful, and for the love of the Lord, keep chat logs clean and do not get mad at staff for denying your application, it doesn't help.
Have you ever been banned or punished on our server?:Yes, for one week. We "overteamed" and got banned for it. If you want to swing my ban as a way to get me denied, so be it, but let me ask you a question then: Is that a deny worth ban? To get banned for giving a kid our old base and telling him to remove our bags from their, and showing proof we had a new base and never used it once after we gave it to him, is that a deny worthy ban? I am not poking fun at our ban, nor giving spite to the admins, we messed up, we were supposed to destroy the bags. Now we just raid everyone and leave no survivors. We understand our mistake, and apologized. We waited out the ban with no fighting back (Except in the first day as I thought it was a mistake, then I was super annoyed by the lack of communication, then I just gave up and went to bed)
How much time do you have to contribute to the role?:I want to say every wipe, about 60 - 80 hours on it (Not counting in the sleep) I love rust, and hope that each wipe is a bit different, and if need be, I can hop on any server. I just prefer 5x because I love it there. If there is nothing going on, and you need me, I will be on the other servers as well.
If you have any, what hobbies or activities are you involved in outside of Rust?Hm, I stream on Facebook Gaming, Twitch. I can fix computers, edit videos on the fly and sing! I also play guitar and have a band called TB, we made a song called Slide and it's about Eggnog! I also have my own merch, and speak 2 languages and make a lot of money. I also love giving and believing in Jesus and driving big trucks in mud or having one. I am a redneck but I am also a introvert.

Accidentally spawning into a base he owns because he forgot to destroy our bags or we forgot to destroy our bags is a mistake on our or his part, but that shouldn’t be lumped into a team because oh my days, we gave him a base with no loot. You can see my video above with proof we don’t live there and if any admins want proof as well, I can hop on a call. I also find it weird that a week ban was issued but well after my hacking report. Like you were in the call with us, why didn’t you say something or did you just wait until after.
And I have stated before Jesse, and I’ll state this in front of everyone, you and Circulars comments toward me and my team are not welcome, considering how much we love the server and show respect to staff. I just asked for a second opinion, not you to repeat your statement.

Another post made by a staff member, going as far as thinking we still own the base:
I don't know, but the DMs from this mod were confusing, and still I have not been told why we have been banned. I have proven that is not our base, and if ANY STAFF logs onto the 5x, you can tell no loot was stored there, and that it has been 3 days since wipe.

I also want to point out:
Over teaming is not allowed. (includes roaming, raiding, basing. Also includes aiding raids or counter raiders. Offline members count as online members. You may swap out players, but you must break their bag , clear TC and kick them from the clan.)
No basing was ever done with him, as seen
The video is all full look out of our base and where we were, it was no where near him. @choppy this is getting out of hand. Staff should NOT be banning players as STAFF has visited us, and hung out with us, WE even assumed, that staff would see the different base designs and say "Oh, they are in a different base, and have no contact with him". I urge staff to relook this.

What happened? (include any proof):Well, we originally had reported a hacker, and I had sent in a video of us being ESPed on, and we had given a bunch of people bases near the area, including our old base. We didn't agree to not raid them, nor did we send them off to farm for us, nothing, just gave them a roof over their heads and said see ya later, it's your base, do what you want, destroy the bags, do whatever.
Well, they didn't and I accidently spawned into the room in the video, with him sleeping in there. There was no one with us, no 4 man OP team going around killing people, it was us vs everyone, and to ban all 3 of us, is insane. I have proof. and so does a lot of other people, of us raiding, countering and even afking with just the three of us.
We just saw some random naked, said hey man, want a base, gave him a base near ours. Our chat logs have been clear, we all follow the rules correctly and get staff involved as much as we can. We even bought the max rank here. We followed it to a T, it seems a bit much to ruin wipe for us because we gave a naked a base that no one owns, and then ban us without warning or anything.
Why should your ban/mute be removed?:1 week seems a bit harsh, we had no idea, nor did I that would happen, and to be fair, we didn't think it was teaming. We didn't send him out to farm for us, nor do we have him in our discord. I have videos of us playing, and he is never there, nor was he there when we raided anyone. He was just a random naked checking out our dance floor. He was new, we felt pity so we gave him a base that was a) empty and b) with prebuilt stuff in it. Nothing personal nor nothing gained from it.
And I don't like Jesses tone is this either, this wasn't a warn, nor was it discussed to get more info, it was straight ban.

Oof, I do apologize for the lack of paragraphs. I honestly didn't know what to do, I saw some apps did an essay and people said it was too large, and some did it small like 3-4 sentences, and it was lacking, so I felt it was right, but my next app will have that.

Why should we choose you over other applicants? [minimum 2 paragraphs]Well first off, I love to introduce myself, I am TheExaltedPrime and I love pie. I am also turning 24 in a few weeks, and would love to offer my expertise in staffing on this server. I believe in cool, calm, collective conversations, and swift action to rule breakers. Where others might lack in their voice, I excel. I use my words a lot, and if something is not right, I will say something about it.
Another thing I would bring in is a sense of humor towards staff. Sometimes players think of staff as a different group, but for me, staff has always been just one of the players who can kick people, for the betterment of the community. It bothers me sometimes to see some staff members (Not on your server) be a stickler and just fly around, itching for the next ban hammer, where being fun and playing the game as well, can lead to more relationships, more better outcomes to situations, and maybe some people learning some valuable life lessons. That's what I hope to bring in the staff team.

So I've been away, obviously, and since Garnet says you get a notification, I did not, and can prove that as well.
It's been happening for a while now, and since I did not know it, as I rarely check my credit card, it's been a big chunk of change. 120$ gone to him, so I haven't spent a lick of it.
This is just due diligence because I planned on refunding it anyways through my credit card, and would love, and I mean love, for Garnet to not be an ass and just agree with my credit card company so I can forget this community even exists.
