  1. I do see the relevance of this post. It makes sense to be worried about the balance of opposing entry factions, in addition to the player count in respect to  the Army. A fix for this may be to set a roster count limit for Marines. This would allow internal faction leaders (for marines) to have limitations on recruiting enlisted (dependent on the current roster count), and hold the occasional training session.

  2. I would like to start playing again, however it seems to be rather difficult. This is due to my laptops f#'s assigned to other other functions, making me unable to use them accordingly. Is there a fix to this? i have been using /usmarine(etc) but for general abilty to access the F# commands it would be useful to know what to do. Thanks 🙂

  3. This is something I noticed myself at fault in the past. I always tried to maintain discipline and order within the faction but sometimes I went to far. Its all about balancing RP and making fun gameplay. Marines have some excellent officers in the ranks that are capable of ensuring high expectations are met throughout the ranks. Can't really add more to this conversation more, but glad a conclusion was met.

  4. It was fun messing around with you, we had good times. It is understandable to lose motivation. Just know, if you ever change ur mind or want to revisit old gg, many will be happy to have you. Also, another big rip since you would have been an officer on marines if u stayed. JS. Regardless, I am happy u found a place in SEALS. Will be missed my dude!

    • IDK what else to say, I have been trying to get him to join staff for a while, he would be an excellent addition to the team.

  6. I would first off like to apologize to my fellow HR Members for my inactivity. I realize my inactivity has only made it more difficult on your end, having to pick up the slack. I would also like to thank you, for allowing me to be part of the HR team. It has been a pleasure to train staff members and assist new staff members. It brings pride to see those that I have trained do so well. To my trainees, I wish you the best of luck, and I hope you continue to make me proud.

College and work have occupied the main portion of my schedule. Due to my inactivity and inconsistency (of when I may log on) I must regrettably resign as staff.

In the future, if I have more free time, I will reapply for staff. However, this will be a good amount of time from now.

Edit: I would like to clarify, this is Only a Staff Resignation.

  7. +1 Very helpful, friendly, respectful, mature. So much I can say about my interactions with you. You would make an excellent staff member.

Although I must say those are a lot of infractions (2) for your relatively limited amount of hours on the server.

Best of luck with your application.

I would suggest setting up family sharing, because someone else having access to your account is a conflict. (both for a potential staff and for any user) Your brother's mistakes/rule violations will be analyzed as if they were yours. In addition, if you were to be accepted as staff a third party would have access to staff commands. I hope you understand the problem with this situation. Anyway, please setup family plan on steam. Basically it allows separate users (different accounts) to share games they have purchased, with others. If you need any help with setting it up, let me know. PM me on the forums, TS, or in game, for help. In the meantime I am going to -1

The above is no longer an issue and has been fixed. The one issue I now have is that it seems you are not known by myself or many others in the community. You can fix this by doing the following: going on TS, being more active in-game, being active on the forums.

When reviewing staff apps, HR takes the applicants character and other factors into consideration. Since myself and others have no interactions with you, there isn't really anything to go off of but your application itself.

  9. Not necessary, in my opinion. The person conducting that portion of tryouts can easily record time without an in game tool. As someone who has hosted plenty of tryouts involving KH, the current means of recording is the best way. It isn't really a hassle. Having my phone out and pressing it the same time I press the button isn't that bad.

It is the responsibility of the Instructor to monitor the trainee carefully throughout KH. This involves constant movement and awareness. Having a stationary timer in one part of the KH would alter the trainers ability to monitor every step. It would also make it harder for the trainer to monitor progress with the live time.

While this may somewhat help, I don't see any real net advantage in enacting this idea. I also do not see it worth Garnets time when he can spend that time on something that may more heavily effect the community. Just my opinion, I see others would love this suggestion and I respect that 🙂  And thanks Winks for making this post.

    Its a -1 from me.
