By level (then prestige, etc) would make more sense imo, as you rank up you progress through the rows/columns. It let's people know that their next milestone is, etc.

Hey there, Sorry to hear you were banned. In some cases, Moderators have discretion to forgo a punishment. Often times in single-party or isolated incidents, the reporter “dropping a report” can be factored into this. I often times don’t warn or jail new players even if the reporter “wants them punished”. It is truly up to the staff member, not the reporter. However, it’s not some magical coverall that can pardon any punishment (which is a common misconception), on more serious offenses such as MassRDM, etc. Moderators are absolutely expected to uphold the violated rule and issue the corresponding punishment, as long as there is proof. Which is the case here. I’ll let the DarkRP Administration Team handle this one, and if this is your first ban, they may consider a reduction.

The serial abusers (7-10+ alts) of alt-ing have already been banned months ago by @Merk. I know the DarkRP Management Team is actively policing serious alting (3+), but a hard coded solution would affect people who don't alt but use a VPN that may be shared by another player, etc. Alting is low impact now since it is scarce and intermittent with the way the community has grown, but that doesn't remove the fact that they already have the capital (money) and the weapons cached away.

You've fixed your application - but I think you can really show yourself during the interview stage. I'll give you a +1 and give you the opportunity to show yourself then!

I'm not referring to the age requirement, as you mentioned we often provide exceptions. There's 1-2 rules that are specifically applicable for someone applying for staff, that you should be aware of, they are towards the bottom.

This is 20x worse than having Merk, Executives, Admins, etc pick. It's nothing on them, just the whole pick me scenario I previously mentioned

You mention one singular person, vs a competitive system of people who would actively pursue this. People are going to be upset, either because they didn’t get selected, they feel it’s unfair, or because someone they don’t like got picked for it. This is very wrong on numerous levels. It could take as little as 2 props, intentionally or unintentionally. I’m not disagreeing that there should be more things to work towards, but I also think there are way more systems geared towards veteran/long term players, and way less towards new players (who are more crucial in growing the community).

I think some people have forgotten, the restriction of almost all of the tools listed is not for a lack of trust, but a server stability choice. If you’d like this change to happen, it comes with a guarantee that there will be more crashes. Are you really willing to have your progress gone in a blink of an eye due to a vphysics crash because someone did something wonky with hydraulics or unfroze a prop and it got stuck in the map? As for the whole trusted part of this: Tenured players still abuse things, we have long term players get banned frequently, and even staff members removed for abuse on occasion.

The events are fine, I think pairing you up with a Lead Gamemaster such @Sam_my, @Octo, or @LIL_Snow172 would do you very well to help refine them. Overall I think your heart is in the right place. +1 Good Luck

Moderation on StarWarsRP is very passive, often times we will go weeks without a ban, warn, or report - simply because most issues are handled in-game. Moderators on SWRP are expected to assist new players and help train them as their primary duties; this is different from other Garnet servers. Also whilst applications are open, we are in need of Gamemasters more than moderators. If you're steadfast on not applying to Gamemaster and you're okay with the above, reply here, and the application can be discussed with the Admin Team.

Good Evening Garnet Gamers, Garnet and I have made the decision to retire the GarnetGaming TeamSpeak in roughly 30 days from today. We understand that the TeamSpeak has been active for a very large portion of the community's lifespan. However, due to extremely low-utilization rate, and ability to recoup a recurring cost (minimal cost compared to other server-related cost, but cost is cost), that can be better allocated to putting back into the community. The GarnetGaming Main Discord/Community Hub does have similar capabilities of TeamSpeak with any "Verified" Member being able to create a Temporary VC for them an their friends to use, as well as each server having their own specific Discord surrounding their respective communities. Please keep an eye on the announcements in the next few days for a full update log on the GarnetGaming Main Discord/Community Hub and a few FAQs.

"yeah" "we all banned now" "smh" "They gonna deny mine now LMAOOOO" Denied. Your recent comments in a discord with some community members leave something to be desired, also with a ban page like this, you should have one hell of an appeal, perhaps you can try again at a later date.

Ban Evading to appeal is an interesting take, also curious to see who reacted. Lazy Appeal + Ban Evading = Denied.
