I still don't know what I did wrong regarding the circumstances, hind sight is 20/20 but I had none of that information beforehand, so if you would like suggest what I should have done go ahead.

What a nice guy, I'm glad you're taking this seriously. There is nothing in rules that covers this scenario, so intead of allowing someone to get killed, I did what any logical person would do. I attempted to get them into an enviroment where they couldn't kill each other and figure out was going on. I was more than willing to admit guilt, but seeing how you're not even going to take this seriously and will brush it off I'll just be as stubborn and assinine as you.

I don't know who started the fight, so in order to protect the one who was getting attacked, I was going to arrest them both. Afterwards, I was going to head to the jail to get the story and let the innocent one out. I already did that even though I only had one jailed, just in case I jailed the innocent one. If it was a staff problem, it still doesnt make sense just to take one story, there's a reason why you can't solely rely on logs. Evident by gmod trollers who abuse it by telling players to kill them and then reporting them for rdm.

I figured out they were in a group later on, Unrelated, I put that in there to make sure to keep it out of the conversation, if that is a problem it's a seperate issue I had no idea they weren't doing damage to each other, I had no way to figure this out without asking, which, if this was an actual fight, would negate the point of trying to protect players. The only thing I'm salty about is the fact you didn't even allow me to defend myself or at least talk to me Edit: I would have unjailed him had I had the option to, I was teleported to a sit before I could. I also looked through the rules before, and didn't notice anything regarding the situation, I made a decision based of the information I could derive from the situation and attempted to enforce rule 1.

In order to prevent someone from dying as well as doing my job, I attempted to arrest them both, then question them in jail. I was able to jail one and was killed by the other. (It turned out they were in a group and werent actually dealing damage to each other, something I only learned once I got to the prison) I went to the prison and was talking to the person when Forgetten teleported him, then me a few minutes later. During the sit he said nothing to me so I assumed he wanted to me to give my side of the story. I wasnt even able to complete my story before I was teleported back and warned. I tried to talk to Forgetten and get his attention but was completely ignored. I did get increasingly frustrated and did use words that could probably count as staff disrespect, but that would be a seperate issue. Why should my warn be removed?: I would be fine with having the warning if Forgetten had explained exactly what I did wrong. From my pov I was enforcing rule 1, where violence is prohibited against other players unless in self defence. Since I don't know exactly what I did wrong, I have no way to prevent it from happening again. I just want him to take more time into his sits instead of rushing through them.
