Dedication, professional, objective, are but a few traits that make me an essential candidate for a position in staff. I joined the server on recommendation from a friend, and have enjoyed it ever since. 106 of my 117 hours on Garry's Mod are on the DarkRP server alone. Being the head administrator of the #1 MGE servers, we are required to be precise in every action we take. It is under our rules to be sure that we are more than 99% sure when someone is cheating, or breaking the rules. We cannot think or judge based on our emotions, but through logic and reasoning. My main duties are to provide public announcements to the community on well-known cases of cheaters or toxic players, as well as providing reminders to moderators on assessing arguments from players. I give the okay to perma-ban players with multiple bans on record, as well as reviewing demos of alleged cheaters with co-working administrators. Lastly, I also provide help to players who either report players using our AI system, or through adding me via Steam. We take our work very seriously, for we have a reputation to withhold, for our community, and the rest of the game's community. WE DO NOT LIKE CHEATERS! Things about me, on a personal level... I go to a university in which I study (with honors) Accounting as a major, psychology as a minor, and have a pre-law emphasis. I hope to become a level IV Corporate Tax Attorney, or, to be a private Tax Attorney for families. I have a lot of respect to those who help me, and those who help others be the best they can be. I enjoy learning new things, taking criticisms to improve myself, challenging myself both mentally or physically. I believe that there is something to be learned through failure, punishment, success, and/or through observations. Being Independent, I can see things that need to be done before being told, or to take up extra work when required. I put my head down and get to work until the job is finished, I do not expect anything less of myself. So, what can we simply get from this? - Precise - Objective - Critical thinking - Strong argumentative skills - Thorough - Understanding of other's behaviors - Respectful - Takes criticism well - Always willing to learn - Strong work ethic - Works well in teams I believe, with strong certainty, that I would make a great asset to the team by providing the rest of the team with my own experiences, as well as being able to take theirs to heart. The traits that I have listed represent me wholeheartedly in my strive to be a better, smarter person. It is my goal to help other people be the best they can be, through encouragement and advice. It is under my knowledge that dual administration is not allowed, however, I present a strong case for an exception: Being at the top of the chain, the owner and I had created a system in which takes multiple steps before it reaches our work. If our AI does not automatically ban whoever is being accused, then one of the moderators. If the moderators cannot solve the issue, then it is brought to the lead moderators. If THAT doesn't get resolved, it is brought to one of the administrators; then the case is brought to either myself, or the owner of the servers. Our moderators are expected to be the best when looking at cases, which in turn, results in me receiving minimal work load in regards to cases. I personally believe, that it would not interfere with my time contributing to the DarkRP server while I spend my time home during the summer break.
