Didn't you say you were going to "never come back"?
Stay banned and never come back.

-1 Weren't you the guy who was caught hacking and then showed the clip of you hacking on the "resignation" post? And then you continued to act extremely toxic and childish on the thread.
The way you left the community was not only toxic but extremely childish, and frankly I don't think you should be able to come back into the community, even if you say you've changed. Ban appeal are not for apologies, and quite frankly I can't believe this got so many +1's as it did.
Here's the thread if anyone is interested, not sure if anyone's mentioned it yet:
I fucking knew this was going to happen as well, it always does:

That’s not a good reason to forever hold an officer position in a faction. You can’t say “they put time in” when that time could’ve been spent doing nothing, afking until war, or worsening the state of the faction.
Then why would they have the reserves in the first place. A lot of people are trying to get a revamped version of reserves to come back where anyone on it is on a "tight leash" and only a select few people can get on it, preferably they have to get approved by staff first with a new system in place. If people were trying to get the exact old system back into place then I could see where you're coming from, but with a newly revamped system of how reserves work this would hopefully be prevented from occurring.
I don't think officers should automatically be put on a reserves list as soon as they resign. Maybe there could be a system put in place where resigning officers can "apply" to be put onto reserves, and they must be approved by faction leaders as well as executive staff on the server. Could be a cool thing to consider.
Personally, I don't think old reserves should be reinstated as it would be difficult to determine exactly who was unhelpful/harmful to the factions, it should still start out with a clean slate. Maybe if the idea above was implemented people with old reserves can apply to have their reserves returned where they can then be "evaluated" to see if they can have their reserves back.
EDIT: Another argument I've seen is that people only use reserves as a way to get their rank back and gain an unfair advantage compared to other players when they return. We could remove that ability to come back off reserves with the same rank and instead force people to start out at E-4 if they do come back off reserves for that specific faction, this way people who have reserves only have limited "powers" and if they do come off reserves they must start out from E-4 or any other enlisted rank. This way reserves are really only a "title" with minimal power more than a way people can use to cheat the ranking system when they come back.- 2

+1 I agree a lot with the suggestion Conway made, I think a system like that could be beneficial to the server in a lot of ways.
8 hours ago, Garnet said:But this is exactly what me and Aidan came to an agreement on when "REMOVING" reserves. You can keep it so long as you have a valid reason and/or are contributing to the faction
That wasn't what was announced when they were officially revamped from what I remember. I was told that the only time you could even get on reserves was if you were unable to get on the server at all, and once you were able to get back on your reserves were removed.
So people are now allowed to have reserves and play on the server if they are contributing to the faction?

As much as I want reserves to make a comeback, I severely doubt they plan on re-adding it anytime soon. Garnet himself seemed pretty clear that he didn't want anyone using reserves unless they were physically unable to come on for an extended amount of time (so essentially an LOA). The managers also seem pretty keen on keeping the current system in place judging from the last thread. I personally have no idea what happened specifically as to why they removed reserves in the first place, all the managers told people is that people abused it.

Are you leaving the community entirely or just stepping away from MRP? Either way, sad to see you leave. I don't think I agreed with a lot of the changes you made to MRP before I left personally, but you were a great friend and leader when I was under 2GA with you. I wish you the best of luck with whatever the fuck you do next lmao.
Add me on discord btw, PrisonNightmare#7061 Lets play together or some shit, maybe you can play Valorant w/ me and @Fetn lmao

Although I don't play MilitaryRP anymore, it's definitely left some very memorable moments for me personally. The most nostalgic days for me were the "wild west" days of the original csc_desert map back in 2016. 2018 was also a really good year for me on the server, definitely made a lot of friends then as well.

yeah the cringe reacts was what made me delete it, I deleted it because I made my point youve clearly seen it considering youre talking about it. but I'm not here to argue I'm here to encourage.
Why make a point about a very hot topic, leave it up for 40 minutes and then just randomly delete it? Literally makes no sense with the excuse of "I deleted it because I made my point", why not just leave it up then lol
But hey, you do you mate.

To be honest, the post before he deleted it included him saying that he isn't gonna converse/defend about his ideas or beliefs, so... Idk if that's really a true discussion if he gets to place like eight layers of defense if someone tries to attack his ideologies.
It's funny too because as soon as he started getting cringe reacted for it he deleted/edited the original post. If you're going to post for something you believe in at least have the balls to keep it up even if you get shit for it lmao.

Definitely gonna try this out when I get on, I loved the last map you posted so this is gonna be exciting
Let me know what you think of it! I personally think this one is 100x better than my previous when it comes to ramp/gameplay quality.

Yeah takes a long time to learn and even longer to master it lmao. I've been playing Skill Surf for almost half a decade now and I'm still only really considered "decent" at it.

Can't sadly, creative rules say I can't link non-popular websites on the forum itself and idk if GameBanana is considered populr. The download link is in the description of the video tho

After working on this religiously for a little over a month now, I finally finished the surf map I've been working on. Wanted to share it here since some people were interested in it. Let me know what you guys think, thanks!
It definitely isn't perfect and has a few issues, but I did learn a lot from making this.

Agreed. If there was a Survival/Factions/Towny server it'd probably take up a ton of my free time.
2 hours ago, MoldyHotpocket said:I think that it should be similar to big servers such as hypixel where there are multiple different gamemodes. As you mentioned, hunger games/battle royale are a great place to start. Bed wars, skylblock and spleef would be super fun as well. Shit I'll help you build the lobby if you want. This is a fantastic idea and it would be a great addition to the Garnishment Gaming empire.
Thing is those cost both time and money I don't think Garnet wants to sink into a minecraft server with. I think he's just aiming for something simple and cheap to set up so people can have something to do while waiting for wars, SWRP events, etc.

Maybe not a Battle Royal type server would be the best option since there are dozens of Minecraft servers that have that; Perhaps a sandbox with some anti griefing rules and a few mods to help enforce those rules.
Like a plot creative server?

I think a Minecraft server would be really cool, but I don't think the gamemode you have currently planned would be able to retain a playerbase for very long. Maybe it'd be able too, but I can see it getting stale after like a solid week or two of playing.
skyblock would be cool lmao

Sad to see army is reduced to such a state where a brigadier general is posting shit like this even though there are some very good points raised within the state of the server/other factions.
Do better.

11 year old me thought it sounded cool and edgy and I have refused to change it ever since on most platforms since I'm lazy lol.
I think I named it after a Minecraft server? I don't know tbh, it's a pretty cringe name but I'm not good with names anyways so I've just kept it all these years I guess lol.

You can buy a davy crockett off the store? That's insane lmao

some wording sounded fucked up and wanted to reword some stuff
Viva pretty much hit the nail on the head with his points he made in my opinion. Although I wouldn't really say GMOD is a dying game, or at least that really isn't a reason on why MRP/SWRP is lacking in numbers.
MRP is essentially a TDM server with light sprinkles of "Roleplay" in the mix of it. There's only so much you can do before it gets stale and people leave, like Viva said most people only stay on for wars and then go play something different when peace time occurs. The only things people can do during war is either host/participate in tryouts, sims, or some bullshit training which literally no "regular" recruit even likes doing. Of course there is the rare event some people plan out, but even those get boring/repetitive because there's only so much a regular player can do.
I personally think the way PVP works/wars in general needs to be reworked/revamped. Having only 30 minutes of TDM war and then having over an hour of peace time gets so boring the only reason people really stay on the server during peacetime is for tryouts (which in reality are stupid boring themselves, why the fuck do SOC officers feel the need to make them last for 1-2 fucking hours?) or to talk to random people in base who are equally as bored.
There's also the fact that there literally isn't a point in becoming an officer anymore when there isn't any real "reward" to it. Again, I know I bitch and moan a lot about reserves being removed but there is literally no point for officers to stick around or even try to decently run a faction when they know they aren't going to get jack shit from it. You need to give people some sort of incentive to stick around and actually care for the faction they lead, whether that be reserves or some other way of rewarding them. Not sure if you saw this thread or not but if you haven't I recommend reading it as it suggests a lot of balances and whatnot to reserves.
EDIT: Just saw your latest post, not sure if any sort of system like that was implemented yet for reserves. Definitely should be something Jim or whoever is a manager now should think about if it hasn't been implemented yet. Most of the community wanted it to return in the first place.
