-1 Allowing players to use multiple alternate accounts has damaged the in-game economy horribly imo. I would be down for any of this if we could first find some way to remedy that situation, but that has ALWAYS been easier said than done. Knowing the player base i feel my - isn't a detriment to the suggestion so I just wanted to keep it real with my opinion. If it somehow doesn't get accepted, I would gladly change my - to a + if the economy is in a state that makes any sense at the time.

It is for the reason stated at the bottom. if you take 'say message' out then once you trigger the key it would do the first command only while the button is pressed down. All of the following command are toggled. Not sure why this is, but the 'say message' part acts as an initial command to assure that all of the movement commands are toggled. So bind j +walk ; +left ; +back actually acts like a left and back bind while the +walk part only functions while j is held down.

PREFACE Have you ever wanted a sandwich or needed to take a dump but the server wide afk slay doesn't give a rats ass? I have the answer! Through the utilization of the in game console window you are able to set a key that renders you undetectable by the bot that slays people when afk. I know what you are saying, it is there for a reason, and I can understand that. The thing is that the bot works on a timer and if you have been afk but a couple of minutes when that timer goes off then, poof. So if you want to do anything that takes longer than microwaving an egg, either do some math and shit to avoid it or continue reading below! ~~HOW IT WORKS~~ Setup Using the in-game console (it should be bound to the ` key directly above the left tab key. If that doesn't work you will have to manually bind it in the Keyboard section of options. I +1 this. It used to be that way. It was changed to be less intrusive. The old system, annoying as it was, at least let you know when you were safe to come back outside.

Not really necroposting if the suggestion has not been accepted or denied. If that is going to be enforced then might I suggest that whoever is supposed to be locking "necro" threads needs to hop on it. Not trying to sound rude. Just saying that would be dumb to be warned for putting a +1/-1 on suggestion.

I edited my above statement. You are right. That is staffing 101, but like I said , when logs reset there is no way to recover them. If they don't get the logs in time then the proof is gone unless the reporter was recording/screenshotting the proof themselves. May seem like a lot of extra shit to put on the player, but it makes false warrant reports a cinch when the reporter has valid proof.

Yeah these people have been at this for years now though. They know how to get around it. I do admit maybe a rule addition regarding this would help, there is not much we can currently due at this point to remedy the situation fully. Don't get me wrong, I agree with you. It is just a screwed up situation on all ends with those kind of reports. The big thing is that we have to have concrete proof that they did propblock (you cannot simply use logs) because if they appeal and we don't have sufficient proof then they will be unbanned and there isnt't much we can do after that besides wait for them to screw up again. *I guess if you could show that the warrant and the stacking/blocking happened at the same time then it could be doable but a large majority of the time that isn't the case. Logs reset eventually.*

I get what you are saying but false warrant reports are already slightly more difficult to undertake. Let alone trying to decipher who was actually in on the plan when it is 3+ cops busting in. Also that would be assuming that the minge would tell the truth in the first place if they thought that saying they were just following the crowd would get them out of the ban.

I agree with Yui mostly, but at the same time I also agree that the current system is a bit too lenient on minge cops for the amount of strife they are able to bring into the community. Losing a room full of maxed out printers can break even players who have been doing well for thereselves. So to recap, I -1 the suggestion that it lead directly to a harsh ban, but would be willing to +1 a suggestion of harsher punishments for abusing law enforcement classes.

In a perfect world we could +1 this in peace. But this is the real world and Gmod is hell. I always assume the best of people (yes even the Gmod community) and am willing to support this suggestion. That being said I am also in support of having it removed if it becomes problematic. We already have stuff you can abuse. Can't break it if it's already broke. So to recap, I am giving this suggestion a +1 with the assumption that people will cherish the privilege and not be lil mingey shits. (what can I say, I'm a dreamer I guess.)

A little late to the party, but I'm back now so. I am going to have to give a -1 to the exact thing you are suggesting, but would really like to see a cooldown in how often the player sees the "player took money from your printer!" message. People shouldn't be punished for spamming it. Raiding is intense, so sometimes people are spazzing when they get inside and just do it, may not be with the intention to pester the person they are stealing from. So to recap I give a -1 to the idea of adding a rule in this regards but would happily change it to a +1 if the suggestion were changed in the ways I mentioned above.

Yeah I know but I am talking about a mute tied directly to the role. So when the person changes jobs from the DJ/Mic Spam job, they wouldn't have to worry about having half the server forget to unmute you and get right back to your RP. Not sure how possible that would be but that is what I meant, just to clarify.

I personally think they should remain the same for now. My reasoning behind this is that there really aren't a lot of good ways to make money as of now. You have like 2 or 3 okay options outside of printers, and they still aren't worth doing unless you print on top of them. I am all for an adjustment or their removal all together so long as there could be more jobs added to add some variety. So with the jobs in their current state I am going to say -1 to either suggestion.

I +1 this idea. I am really itching for ANY new ways to make money/xp but this seems like it would actually be enjoyable. Maybe give them some kind of box similar to the hobo donation box, but make it like a prize pool for "title/championship" fights.

I give a -1 to the idea of removing the rule entirely. I am enticed by the idea of a job relating to media mic spam (Music, podcasts, etc.). I can't get on board with the idea of having no rules to keep obnoxious minges in check.
