    Thank goodness. I'm not gonna lie, it was getting a bit tedious to set timers every time I had a lockdown.

    Reasoning: Arm new players against those dirty, disgusting, freak base-campers. 

    Disagree with moving the Armory NPC, but I'm not entirely opposed to adding access to the Orsis/Mosin for newer players. DarkRP (which I obviously play a bit more than MRP) does a very similar thing with the Playtime Token store allowing you to purchase a Dragonlore, so I don't see how this would be too different.

    -1, Re: GooseLooney and age issues. It won't take you a "few months," If you play frequently enough it might only take you a couple weeks.

    Hi, reporter here.

     

    TLDR: You think that despite you admitting to breaking 3 rules (RDM based off of unproper KOS sign (which may or may not have ever even existed), RDMing me in a sit, then diss in sit), you deserve to be unbanned because I (a VIP mod) "hijacked" (provided evidence) a sit from a higher-up (a Mod).

     

    Where does the ban appeal say that you didn't commit any of the rule-breaking? Nowhere. Being honest, this whole post is incredibly immature and stems off of your incredibly immature behavior in-game. LYING about having a Kos sign, only for you to trip on on your own lie and claim that it was on the inside of your building, then try to say that somehow the inside of your building should count as the exterior "because it was open to the public" is so incredibly manipulative, it honestly surprises me that you were ever staff on this server. Reporting you for diss in sit wouldn't have even crossed my mind if your behavior of spamming throughout the sit, as well being generally untruthful and the RDM-in-sit didn't push me to it.

    Let's go over a couple things that I found particularly interesting in this appeal.

    I would not have wanted you banned if you did not repeatedly insult both mine and Weef Peef's intelligence. I don't talk to you regularly, I don't know you, and I don't care to after this. I was mildly annoyed by you RDMing me in PD when you had no KOS sign up. You turned the sit into the ban by lying, spamming, insulting, and rdming me in a sit. You have no one to blame for this but yourself.

    I think the funniest part about this claim is that I, not ONCE, ever mentioned my VIP Mod status in the sit. You, however, mentioned multiple times that you were an ex-manager, and you even did it in this appeal! I don't get off on power trips flexxing my lowest-grade staff rank, especially to people who used to/currently outrank me.

    This is a question for Weef Peef, but I personally would've fought just as hard for these results, no matter if I was user, VIP, VIP Mod, or anything else. 

    Overall, this ban appeal is honestly one of the most immature I have seen in quite a while. I may be a bit biased in saying so, considering more than half of it is belittling me, but I feel this is an absolute joke. You express no remorse throughout this entire ban appeal, instead choosing to blame your ineptitude and unsportsmanship on others instead of accepting wrongdoing propelled this from a simple RDM report to you being banned for 4 days. Your whole argument throughout this ban appeal is re-narrating the sit in question (with quite a bit of Author Bias) before placing the blame solely on me, despite admitting to all of the things you were banned for.

        Why should we choose you over other applicants? 

    I am extremely knowledgeable about Garry’s Mod and DarkRP, having played it extensively over the years (from at least 2019). This means that I would be able to help new players get started, as well as provide tips and tricks to experienced players who are looking to improve their gameplay. Additionally, my previous experience in managing online communities means that I have a good understanding of how to moderate chat and forums, and how to deal with difficult situations that may arise.

    Furthermore, I am committed to upholding the rules and regulations of GarnetGaming DarkRP to ensure a fair, unbiased, and enjoyable experience for all players. I understand that enforcing rules is an important aspect of maintaining a safe and enjoyabl//e environment, and I am willing to take responsibility for upholding these standards. Additionally, I am quite confident in my communication skills, which are crucial for interacting with players, responding to questions, and addressing concerns in a prompt and professional manner.

    Finally, I feel that there’s been quite a bit of a loss of really fantastic staff members recently, or at least, their resignation. Strongside, chawhead, Shin Tsukimi, Shizzle, Wes, just to name a few recently. My ultimate goal is to me as good if not better than the “gap” that was made with the loss of these staff members, but as long as I’m helping out Garnet, that’s good enough for me. Small  tangent, but Garnet’s been one of the longest running communities I’ve been with. I’ve met so many good people, and I feel, after nearly 4 years of me playing on the server, it’s time for me to contribute and help the rest of the server have as much fun as I have had.

        Have you ever been banned or punished on any server? If so, Include details: I have been banned a few times in the past, however the last “legitimate” ban I received was back in mid-2022.         Have you made any previous applications, If so when?: I’ve made about 3 applications a while back. I made a really crappy one on December 21, 2019, an okay one on August 1, 2020, and one on January 1, 2021, which was widely accepted but had to be denied due to unfortunate circumstances which I feel that I have moved past.

        How much time do you have to contribute to the role?:

    Should have quite a bit of time. My classes are sparse and far between right now in college, so luckily, I have quite a bit of time. Most afternoons, I should be free.

        If you have any, what hobbies or activities are you involved in outside of Garry's Mod?
