Great update! Do you think it would be worth exploring adding a rule prohibiting the use of engines (cheating in chess)? This would be extremely easy to detect (not with another in-game plugin, manually) as the accuracy of a player using an engine would be extremely close to 100%. Also, it's 2022, and I'm not sure if the racist jokes on the splash page being our first impression on potential new players is the best -- it sends a message that racism is allowed on the server, when in the rules it's clearly not. Thanks for your attention on DRP.

This has always not sat right with me, a vibe I get with most of the MRP community. garry's mod is a sandbox where goofing off and having fun is the central point of the video game. I guess I never really saw why the seriousness of the roleplay was the first priority. If you wanted to be absolutely serious about the RP aspect, you'd go play Arma 3 or another milsim where there are better game mechanics than hl2. And we wonder why MRP, CRP, SWRP all invariably fail, while DRP and TTT are, and continue to be (for the past couple years anyways) always thriving. It makes me ask the question on how other communities handle the seriousness of RP in these gamemodes.

(include any proof): Keep in mind this happened within my first 20 minutes on the server. Got into a tank to the anger and vitriol of the surrounding players; when instructed to get out of the vehicle, I made an attempt to distance myself from the situation by driving out of the hangar. This was not the best decision, and at that moment, I knew I had made a mistake. I take full responsibility for this. What happened next is truly bewildering. All of a sudden, I was in an encounter with this stage's final boss, @AlexConway I wasn't sure how to proceed, so I waited for the first wave. Corporals, Sergeants, and even high ranking officers shouted their repulsion, their gaffs. I absorbed this with no problems whatsoever, as my resistances and resilience were both already max. The second wave was "Buuba get out of the tank or I'm gonna permban you." This I dodged easily, as seen by my escape pathing above. I thought I was in the clear. Free at last. Without warning, the boss moved into phase 3 : Alexander The Conway pulled out his toolgun, and deleted my vessel. I was astonished. Defeated. He quickly banned me and I faded into existence, the server forcibly terminating the connection. In just twenty minutes, I had turned from member into memory. Why should your ban be removed?: I do realize I made a mistake, but a month is a pretty long time homies. If you made it this far, I hope you can see my perspective. Thanks
