Shitty science homework

Can anyone help me on how to balance chemical equasions

Probably been a year since i've done chem but should be able to

How do I do something like 

 

_N2+_H2=_NH3

 

wasnt at school when we went over it

ok so first start by writing how many of each element are on each side. then start on the RHS and try and make one of the elements amounts equal each other by multiplying the compound

Then go to the LHS and multiply which ever compound you need to make up the other elements numbers

So what would the awnser be

The solution to this specific equation is:

_N2+_H2=_NH3

         LHS         RHS

N         2             1

H         2             3

I would first times NH3 by 2 to give

_N2+_H2= 2NH3

         LHS         RHS

N         2             2

H         2             6

then i would times the H2 on the LHS by 3 to give

_N2+3H2= 2NH3

then N2 would just be 1

1N2+3H2= 2NH3

sorry it took me a second to write out the solution

i recommend doing examples for these as they can get quite complicated

So you would need an Architect if you want to be the one planning the layout of the house
