    • I saw your application on here and I thought I'd chime in as I have a lot of interaction with you on the DarkRP servers. This is mainly for those who want to know more background behind Link. I will say that Link is a very hard-working individual. I agree with @EndoExo when he says that Link is being a bit overzealous when it comes to notifications and being on constantly, I already know that he will try to overachieve. I have a lot of positive things to say about his work ethic and determination when it comes to completing his duties. I have no doubts that he would be a great GM (I think that's what this is, sorry, I come from DarkRP and I'm not sure how some of your systems work). The biggest concern is that you need to slow down sometimes and thoroughly think out a situation, in this case, it's running events. Remember, it's about quality, not quantity. As long as you don't try to be "the perfect GM", you can become a great GM. If anyone has any questions about my previous interactions, feel free to ask!
    • I have the luxury, and curse sometimes, of seeing the application later into its existence: After a few edits, after a bit of time to reconsider. This means I get to see the most polished take on the application, but also that I have to gauge it firmly as I see it. My immediate stand out points are as follows;  Adaptability is good. Because players are largely unpredictable, having a firm direct plan and route in mind for how an offworld should go, is often a shot in the foot. I know I've suffered from tunnel vison on my imagined operations, largely on my bigger campaign finales, and in turn player enjoyment has suffered. I fully approve of your starting perspective trying to claim adaptability as your selling point, and from your willingness to amend your plans as seen in this forum speaks well to that. However, should you progress to becoming a gamemaster, I would like to see more robust plans for your events: Mention of secondary objectives, a framework for player reward or consequence depending on their actions. Even a loose outline of these can lead to a better field experience: Having that outline, helps your ability to adapt to the live situation, and makes it easy to coordinate with your assisting team when you already have a good grasp of what could go wrong, in addition to what it should like when things are going right.  Unexpected twists, are a delicate balance. In my experience, the player base largely subscribes to this recreational warfare as an easy narrative to follow. Unexpected twists; well executed betrayals and grand plans, tend to fall short when the standard answer is to shoot first and check equipment after. If you want to focus on more character driven events, I would suggest finding a way for your characters to be consistent: Sleezy underworld contacts helping from the Hutts, is going to be a good suspicious character to play both sides, a reprogramed battle-droid operating on deep sleeper agent protocols, would make for an interesting roleplay situation. Constantly wondering if every mayor and mechanic found in your events is secretly a terrorist, will wear folks out.  But my biggest concern? Without a doubt:   Burnout is a real threat. I have been through it for the better part of this last month. I want you to reconsider the level of your commitment here; You're sixteen, and spending a few hours online is a great way to blow off steam, but over committing will come due if you don't manage yourself. Stay adaptable, don't get tunnel vision on being the perfect gamemaster. For your events themselves, I've already mentioned that I would love to see a bit more framework built into your accounting and planning: Take your third event for example: CIS total take over of Athena. What is the plan if the clones fail to retake the site? The narrative is that the droid army is committed to this slow and steady march to overwhelm and overtake, FOB by FOB if necessary; so they shouldn't just run out of budget mid event. Proposal for alternate solution: Deploy heavy explosives into the "Jedi Caves" to sabotage the highly defended site. DU/ARC/SOB/21st all could complete that objective as a failsafe, at implied great cost to Athena itself.  Additionally while suggesting a demolitions objective, for event four: EOD is unauthorized to deploy objective explosives for field demolitions.   Overall my feedback for you: You've been dedicated to the goal of joining the Game Master team for this last week, spending much of your spare time on the server with us. I love that you are this active and engaging towards the server, but I'm wary of you getting tunnel vision through it. At the end of the day; being here matters most. You're as much of a star wars nerd as any of us, but being here makes the difference.  Hesitantly, I'm giving a formal +1 with the hopes that with a good team all around, we can make sure you learn to swim rather than sink.
    • +1 +/- Paragraphs (I'm looking for you to give examples of how you might be that impact the server is looking for in terms of enhancing player experiences) +In-Game Interactions +Age +Met playtime and continues to play +No active warns +Previous staff experience in a virtual landscape +Read rules   Had a few interactions with you and you certainly carry a good spirit. I'm going to have to agree with the others when I say you need to improve on your paragraphs and the substance behind it. One thing I did that might help you is to look at the failed applications and the accepted applications. DO NOT COPY OTHER'S WORK. Rather, take the time to understand why they wrote what they wrote and how they wrote it. Then you can insert what you might want to say, making it your own. I feel like you have potential and would like to see you step up to the plate. Best of luck.
    • Sorry but your paragraphs are just not that good, many people have expressed that they haven’t seen you in game at all which may point me in the direction that you should probably bump your playtime and interact more with the player base. Aside from fixing your paragraphs that’s about it. Good Luck!!
    • You meet all the requirements but I don't think I've ever interacted with you in-game. Also your paragraphs are definitely still lacking. If I get the chance to interact with you or if you approve your app I may change my vote. For now it's gonna be a NEUTRAL.
