Denied. This thread has gone completely off-topic. Printer alts, Candy's income, Granny's net worth, etc. none of these have anything at all to do with whether fishing should be possible from inside a base - which proves to me that you already lost your point/narrative and are honestly just blabbering on at this point. Fishing was intended to give NEW players without VIP or money for maxed printers a way to make money and level - active fishing on its own is much better than printing and requires no start-up costs. It was not intended as a viable way for veteran/older players to use as another passive income source while hiding in their base safely. And even moree importantly, this wasn't a theoretical problem. We had QUITE A FEW botters pop up that I personally (quietly) banned. Allowing fishing from anywhere without movement, IE: inside bases again recreates the exact problem i just solved that was used to sell our in-game currency for real cash that I caught. AGAIN, the fact that your entire argument isn't even about how broken fihsing was (because you know you can't defend it in good faith) has entirely shifted to attacking completely different money-making methods rather than defending why this mechanic was healthy for garnet tells me everything. Final note: I'm open to more fishing spots around the map. Fishing from inside bases is not coming back. If you make this same request again, I will consider it shitposting and warn - because you were given a firm answer. EDIT: I FORGOT TO MENTION, when you ask to bring back "old fishing spots" you really mean unrestricted access to fish in any water texture on our map, including drains, fountain water, etc.

You have plenty of alternative bases you can use where there are fishing spots directly outside of them? (Beach has 4, and sewers have 6 IIRC). I wouldn't mind adding more spots, but bare in mind, these spots will not be accessible from the inside of bases

Our interaction months ago was honestly started off terrible, but you immediately took accountability, we were able to talk things through, and the conversation ended up being genuinely productive and helpful for me. You gave me insight into my own server and how some players mith be experiencing things in ways that isn't very obvious to me. TLDR the way you handled things made me gain huge respect for you, after thinking you're a goddamn troll for the longest time.

You currently get XP from fishing, but again, it's directed at low-level players, and not at all a viable way for older players to farm XP. The idea is you can printer farm and fish at the same time

The reason it wasn't working isn't because we removed it from stacker, but because our server is customly built and is missing the functionality for the default previews/ghosting. I spent almost 3 hours re-creating this functionality to work for our server

Accepted XP collected will now carry-over into your next level, and feedback on this topic has been noted (albeit unhelpful) - because saying “the XP system needs a rework” is completely vague. To reiterate again, I've gone ahead and updated the system so XP can now exceed a single level per gain - meaning that if you get a large payouts (like selling a ton of meth), you will now be able to get multiple levels worth of XP if wanted.

Sadly, Denied. Even with all our moderation tools and the ability to easily ban players, opening the Cinema job to non-VIPs creates a HUGE risk of exposing minors and other players to graphic or age inappropriate content (IE: pornography) streamed through YouTube. The current VIP restriction is my ONLY safeguard since it is not only paid access, but also, in the event of any legal issues, I have your full name - so that I can better hold individuals accountable. This is sadly not something I'm willing to compromise on, if anything I would've been more comfortable making the cinema owner role staff only. The potential harm far outweighs the benefit of allowing everybody access.
