@br0ken- is right, whenever i dealt with a bounty hunter i would check to see if the person he killed was recently wanted but had it expire without getting arrested. I think a bounty hunter log would be good though, there's still a small chance of a bounty hunter being able to get away with RDM, he would have to have kept track of the person being wanted and shit, unlikely but still possible. +1

@eXg IPL4YG4MES So i like that your making suggestions and care about the community. I'm sorry if a lot of the responses you get are pure negativity. Just know that your efforts are appreciated As far as the actual suggestion, i'm still not convinced. I see it like this, the server in a way is an RPG, and each base is a dungeon. The newer players build crappy bases and are extremely easy to raid (low level dungeon) but as they progress and get better at building, so do their bases (High level dungeon), MEANING the "impossible to raid" bases could be seen as party raids (i know this is a shot in the dark but just hold on). Raids in MMORPGS take literally weeks of planning and many highly skilled people. You said it yourself the bases aren't truly "impossible", so is it maybe that you're not doing enough planning? or possibly didn't attempt the raid enough times to find their angles/choke points? I agree that there are some bases that are COMPLETE cancer and are pretty much impossible to successfully raid but i feel like without these bases the game just wouldn't be the same.

I'm not opposed to some slight rule changes, but the staff tests should continue to address things that aren't directly listed. But i still have a problem with how you're thinking about this, There are so many people that come on the server and have never read the rules, but don't get banned. It has ALOT to do with their intent, these "unspoken" rules 9 times out of 10 only apply to people with bad intent (and the occasional unlikely scenario). So someone that's going to hop on a server with their name as the N word, or put racism in their textscreen, isn't the type of person we want on the server anyways, having to explicitly put that in the rules shouldn't even be necessary. - This isn't me proving any points, just something for you to keep in mind.

Yeah players just wanna have fun, but there are rules. Learning the rules of a server is a boring but necessary step in the "having fun" department (if you don't want to get banned). Anytime i deal with a player that has an issue with a rule that isnt listed, i just explain to them that it's considered to be a common sense rule, but since it's not listed this time will be a verbal warning (given it's their first offense) It actually is common sense. You're right that it's called a roleplay name, but someone smart (the kind of people we want on the staff team) would be able to realize, Hey wait, this is indeed my RP name BUT as soon as i Type in OOC, it's displayed to the entire server hmmmmmm i bet you cant have a racist name then since you cant be racist in OOC, even though it's considered a roleplay name. <-- whoever this guy is, we should get him to be staff.

When you're training staff it is your job to make sure they understand the rules. From here on out if someone is having trouble understanding these rules you can explain to them exactly what i explained to you. Most DarkRP servers MOTD doesn't have rules applying to every possible situation because there's just so many things that can happen, trying to address every possible scenario is damn near impossible tbh. That's why the "use common sense" rule exists on pretty much every server. (You're not the first person to suggest this)

We're testing your ability to staff not your ability to read. @eXg IPL4YG4MES You guys also need to keep in mind that you can miss all the questions that are NOT directly listed and STILL pass the tests (as long as you get the ones listed correct). Think of those questions as extra credit, a test of your (yet again) common sense.

Yeah, throwing the RP in it is to slip them up (and test their common sense). I don't think you're following me about the textscreen, it IS used for RP reasons, but since it is literally a fucking billboard that everyone can see (similar but not identical to OOC) you can't have racism in it. <-- now THAT is some good deductive reasoning found through common sense. If you're having trouble wrapping your head around an idea as simple as that, maybe training new staff isn't your forte?

The idea with the questions that have answers which aren't directly listed is to test your common sense. You brought up the example of the racist job/name, although it may not say no racist names, as a staff member you should know there's not allowed to be racism in OOC, with that said one could deduct that you cant have a racist name, but can have a racist job name since your name is displayed when you type in OOC. Same goes for Racism in a textscreen. Since racism in OOC isnt allowed but RP chat racism IS allowed, one could deduct that racism which is displayed to the entire server is NOT allowed, aka on a textscreen that all players on the server can walk by. I know it's frustrating for the person taking the test, but that is the idea. It's not supposed to be a walk in the park, it's meant to be a challenge (not just a challenge of your ability to read rules).
