  1. As someone who was previously pretty high up in 21st before shut down I'm very excited to see what new opportunities this update brings. Thank you Nutter, Proggy, and whomever else worked on this for believing that the server still has a chance.
  2. +1 CJ/Courtland is a really fun dude to be around and his event ideas are out of the box and new for the most part so I'd love to see him end up on the GM team!
  3. In-game name: Jockstrap Age: 15 (16 in August) SteamID (https://steamid.io/): STEAM_0:0:537969742 Warns: 0 Timezone: CST Playtime?: 122:01:50 Do you have access to TeamSpeak and a microphone?: [YES/NO] Do you have the ability to record Garry's Mod videos?:[YES/NO] Referral(s): GM Shark Past experiences as a Game Master: None Why should we choose you over other applicants? I believe you should choose me over other applicants because I am dedicated, a hard worker, pretty active, and I just want to make people happy with events. My goal if I get picked for GM is making good, solid events that involve as many batts specialties as possible. I want to make enjoyable events for everyone and make the server gain more population. I would like to be a gamemaster so that I can make the player base of Garnet SWRP be more happy with events. I want to break the cycle of events just being either a couple drop pods come down and you gotta fight or chemical/biological hazard, oh no. Obviously I would still include aspects of both because otherwise I'd just be formulating a new kind of boring. Have you ever been banned or punished on any server? If so, Include details When I was 12 I played a Roblox Military RP and I was on a private server where I used /kill all because I was taught to use the last three letters of someone's name, mine were all. I was really stupid to not notice that it said "all" so I deserved the 3 rank demotion I received. How much time do you have to contribute to the role?: I am on almost daily, I spend anywhere from 3-8 hours on usually. On Sundays and Thursdays it's in the range of 2-5 hours, this is due to Church on Sunday and football on Thursday. In your own words, what are the responsibilities of a Gamemaster?: The main responsibility of a Gamemaster is to make enjoyable events that include as many aspects of each individual battalion as possible. The main goal is to make events that make people happy and that inspire new events. The responsibilities as a gamemaster can be tough to live up to, but that's another responsibility, to be dedicated and hardworking. Even when the going gets tough, you make events that bring energy and life into people's days. Events that make that dreadful bored feeling vanish. That's the kind of events needed. Describe how you would contribute to RP as a part of the Gamemaster team: I would contribute to RP by making parts of events about specific battalions. In saying this I don't want it to just be 21st that gets many bio hazards because I've seen a lot of that going around. I'd like to introduce more hostage negotiation stuff for 104th, targeted messages toward infantry battalions like 501st, 212th, and 327th, and I'd like to see more events that require the skills that certifications give you. The only cert I see being used in events is EOD, I believe there should be more events that give RP focus to Medical, Engineer, and Pilot. Explain your single most creative idea for contributing to the RP environment of the server: My single most creative idea for contributing to the RP environment of the server is to create dedicated events to sister battalions, certs, and batt specialties. There is not nearly enough content for all the batts and I feel batts like the infantry batts and 104th all get overlooked when RP comes around. I've seen a lot of GM's talk about implementing something similar but I don't really see it often. More recently there's been events that tie into previous events and I think that's a great thing the GM team has done, but there's still more work to be done. Please list and explain 5 unique event ideas of any scale: Event 1: Deep Signal The NCC Holotable starts ringing. Command explains that a distress signal has been located in nearby space, the signal has a flight code attached belonging to a ship that disappeared in a battle. The ship is an ARC-170 Starfighter that got separated from it's battlegroup after the Venator it was on exploded. Command orders the 34th battlegroup to check out the signal just in case the pilot has sensitive CIS info. As the 34th drop out of hyperspace they are met with a CIS flagship. A space battle instantly commences. CIS drops droids in the Venator's hangar bay while fighter pilots fend off CIS Vultures in the air. After the fighters clear the skies, a boarding party is sent to the CIS Ship. Surprisingly the hangar is empty of droids. Only an ARC-170 is found inside. The 34th check for the pilot but he's not in the fighter, however they do find his astromech there, burnt with blaster fire. The 34th investigate the rest of the ship, wandering the empty halls. They stumble across a room with a single medical bed in it. On the bed is a clone pilot with some kind of cord plugged into his head. Once they see this a medical droid and two BX commando droids come into the room. The 34th can either capture or kill the droids and take their heads, the outcome is the same. The 34th discovers from the droids that they captured this clone shortly after the fight and have been using him to find republic base locations. The CIS had been on their way to Anaxes when the astromech droid came online suddenly and sent off a single distress signal before being shot repeatedly. The CIS had all been relocated to protect the bridge. As the 34th arrives at the bridge they are met with a huge force of droids. Once they clear the ship they discover the captain of the vessel has jettisoned an escape pod. They return to Anaxes with the clone. Once the clone gains full consciousness he keeps reciting a line over and over, "They took me". The clone refuses food and water and finds his way to the top of the base where he takes a plunge to his death. Event 2: The Captain Never Goes Down with the Ship The 34th discover that the captain of the recent CIS vessel ended up on a snowy moon of Anaxes where he has overtaken the outpost with a small CIS force. He has called for CIS reinforcements at Anaxes. When the 34th arrives on the moon they are met with a weak CIS force that are surrounding the outpost. Inside the outpost they find as little resistance as was outside. They locate a datapad that was left behind. On the datapad there was an order for Captain Tarmuka to come to a nearby Munificent by himself. As the 34th returns to Anaxes they encounter that the airspace has two Munificents and there are CIS ground forces as both Aurek and Zeta. As the 34th battles the ground and aerial threats they discover Captain Tarmuka's body at Aurek, murdered. CIS secretly starts infiltrating the main base. When the ground forces return to the main base both the inside of MHB and AUX bay are filled with droids. The runway is also getting drop pods for 3 waves. A small last-ditch group of vultures enters airspace and once they are defeated one muni goes down and the other flees. Event 3: Backstabbed The 34th battlegroup is confused by the murder of CIS Captain Tarmuka. After CG investigates further they discover move evidence as to who might've done it. The wound Tarmuka received was not from a blaster, but from a lightsaber. There might be a Dark Force User on Anaxes. After the Jedi meditate to possibly find the location of this DFU they discover a dark presence coming from crystal caves. As the 34th arrives at crystal caves, something feels off. They breach the caves, clear them of bugs, and find the DFU in a room with a big drill and some consoles. The DFU sits quietly on the ground not making a move. The DFU either gets captured by CG and interrogated or is killed by the 34th. After interrogation the DFU will escape and steal a jedi starfighter to escape Anaxes. As the 34th exits crystal caves all of the clones start to cough, except for the ones with sealed suits. The jedi are unaffected. Upon further investigation it is discovered that this illness was manufactured to target the DNA specifications of clones. It causes migraines, seizures, fatigue, coughing, fainting, and if left untreated death. The unaffected who have Med certs work very hard and make a cure, the cure is administered to all affected clones and crystal caves is sanitized. Event 4: An Empty Soul The NCC Holotable begins to ring. Command explains that a town of civilians disappeared overnight on tatooine. The 34th are ordered to go there and check it out. Upon arriving the Jedi notice the stolen Jedi starfighter that the DFU took. (Or if the DFU was killed it is not there) The DFU must be on this planet. The town is in fact empty, not a clue in sight. Just outside the town however a small campsite is found. As the 34th approach the campsite 5 waves of cultists appear from thin air. As they enter the camp they see multiple civilians bound and gagged. They also see a black hole with a blue surrounding. As the 34th gets closer the DFU steps out of the black hole (if the DFU was killed the black hole instead grabs a hostage and sucks them in). The 104th starts a hostage negotiation with the DFU. Once a resolution is found, any kind, then the Jedi meditate and close the black hole. As the black hole closes a humanoid creature appears. The creature seems passive and displays no emotion. The Jedi find that the creature has no living force in him. He has an empty soul. The creature is taken back to Anaxes with no resistance. When the 34th study the creature they find it has no response to pain, touch, taste, smell, or the force. It does whatever it is commanded through hearing. Suddenly the creature grabs a clone's gun and begins shooting everyone. Once the creature is killed it melts into a puddle. Event 5 (sole event for low pop): Captive Wookie The NCC Holotable begins to ring. Command explains that a wookie that is a good friend of a republic senator has been captured and is being held captive on his home world of Kashyyk. Unfortunately the senator told this wookie some sensitive republic info. It is the 34th's job to locate this wookie and bring him back to Anaxes for debriefing. After the 34th has gotten the wookie a different battlegroup will clear Kashyyk. The 34th go to Kashyyk. They fight off a few wave of drop pods. They locate a building that has a datapad revealing the location where the wookie is being held. They go to the location while fighting off CIS. They get the wookie and bring him back to Anaxes. During Debriefing they find out that the wookie never had sensitive info and that the senator was lying to get the Republic's intervention. Did you read staff rules?: P-278 SCBM KURMSG1078Jockstrap
