Well from what I read it seems like the staff who did handle it told Jack to make a forum report. If the staff who handled the sit said it himself/herself, im not going to keep trying to press for it and will take it to the forums. It seemed like Mavv just wanted to be done with it and didn't want to go back on it at all so that's why they told Jack to go to the forums.

Appreciate the kind words, can't say I really 'personally' knew him. Just that I know he was a cool dude on SWRP and wish I talked to him more to try and help him out.

Bout to go on a drunk ramble here, cus shit man I knew this dude and I know what he feels like. Like shit life ain't easy man, but do know y'all are never alone. Or at least I hope you don't. For whatever you're going through try to hang in there and hold on. Even if you don't seek professional help, just try to seek out friends. I haven't been apart of this community in a bit because I've been going through my own problems and trying to quit drinking. But he's in a better place now. Rest in peace to him. Wish I talked to him more to try and help, to let him know there are others out there going through hell too and he ain't the only one. I've met some great friends here, keep strong everyone.

Here is some advice, if you're honest to the staff about what you've been reported for, and you know you were wrong, don't try to lie about it hoping the staff slips up (staff can see kill logs and what weapons you used to kill said person). Instead just own up to it and explain you didn't know. Staff a lot of times are more lenient to people who are honest and don't know the rules all that well. Unless if it's a major infraction. Lying about it makes the staff not want to treat you with the same kind of integrity and kindness as someone who is truthful about their wrongdoings. In the end, it's up to staff to decide what a player's punishment is, not the player's choice.

I'm angry. You have no idea how many times I have to listen to this stupid fucking song at work. Yes, they legit playing the fucking friends theme as one of the songs in the store. It drives me nuts.

The thing is, it seems like it's supposed to be a dark RP app the way he describes some things (such as why he was banned before on the server) I think he just grabbed the wrong format? At least that's what it seems like to me.

Not trying to be rude here or anything, but how would you get confused? It seemed you knew what you were talking about when you were in the TS, knowing it related to Diego and the raid. I don't know what other context it would have been taken in, unless if you had some other instance of FDA which I don't think is the case.

I hate to break this to you... but I actually own one, passed down from my Great Grandfather. I don't have it with me, it's at my uncle's house because my mom doesn't like guns in our house. Edit: My dream gun would probably be a 5/7. They look fancy af for a pistol, and fire a neat round. For rifles, a classic M1 Garand. For a more modern rifle/PDW, the AAC Honey Badger. It's unique, fires a unique round, and is pretty cool. I know it's a modified AR-15, but it's cool nonetheless.

I don't even think that KOS sign is valid. And no, just because it's not valid doesn't mean you get off the hook. You should've reported it, or at the very least asked I @ if it was valid.

I'll disagree with this. You can kill the owners outside of their base, but that's if they are actually close by to the base. It's like the same rule as killing cops outside of a base you are raiding, but that's if they're in the raiding area, which clearly these guys weren't.

I explained to you how you're wrong. You can't put an exact distance on the raiding area because no one has the means to measure it, and it'd be hard to enforce. You have to use common sense, and if your common sense says that the raiding area is about two streets in total length away, then there's your problem. But they were not in the raiding area and you know that, you're just trying to loophole and say: "there's no specific distance."

I mean, it's quite common sense and I think you're just trying to be a smartass. I can't call a raid in suburbs, then run all the way into industrial and say I was raiding as I kill everyone there, that's not how that works. I know that's a far distance, but for a better example, you wouldn't call a raid at the base that's across the street from the PD that has the garage, then run over to the base with the ramp and start killing them.

-1 you called the raid in the middle of the street, which is a pretty far distance from that base you were going to. It says you may kill the owners if they're in the RAID AREA the raid area doesn't mean it's the whole map. In fact, I'm sure they probably didn't even know they were getting raided because you legit called the raid in the middle of the street. You can do that, yes, but that's if you were raiding any base that's nearby the street, I would not say that base in the alleyway is close to the street.

I never said that was a joke, I'm saying the way you presented it seemed like a joke. I'm sorry that happened, but I think painting all police as bad/evil is just as bad of a mindset as painting all black people as thugs, or hoodrats or things like that. Both mindsets are very ignorant and close-minded. I've met a lot of cops who are very nice and friendly, along with black people at my work place that I genuinely enjoy being around, in fact one of my co-workers who's black got transferred to a different store because he got promoted and I miss him a lot because he helped me with getting better at the job I have and taught me how to do some things I didn't think of. He's from St. Louis, Missouri and he's genuinely one of the most fun and very hardworking people I've met in my life so far and I always looked forward to going to work each day just to hang around him because it actually made my work not feel so much like work. There is always going to be good and bad in the world, and unfortunately there's no way to stop that forever, that's just how humans are. I wish we weren't like that, but we are. You can try to limit it as much as you can, and that's what we should try to do, but to expect it to be gone forever is very naive. I'm just as mad about this incident and I love cops, but that's why I'm upset and angry. Not only was innocent life lost because some jackass cop decided it'd be a good idea to kneel on someone's neck for 8 minutes, but it puts those cops' lives at danger who joined the force to genuinely do good and protect people in an already very divided country during these times where they are hated by a lot of people because there are cops who act like complete jackasses and idiots.

I fell asleep, but I will be honest. Just the way you presented the thread, and how you worded things, it honestly for me made it look like you were either joking, or just not presenting the topic in a very serious way. It was almost as if it was satire, but not in a good way, if you understand what I mean.

While I agree that this would be more lore friendly/accurate, I don't think we're necessarily trying to do that. For example, we have RANCOR when they were only in Kamino, and all of the ARC classes have westars which was not the case, I believe only Alphas used those, all other ARCs used DC-17's and DC-15's/DC-15a's. I believe they set them up like that so that way at least everyone feels they have their own unique purpose. I'm not sure where I really stand on this because I see both sides of the argument. That's not the same thing if you read it. It's not asking for all classes to have the same stuff, just different things to make each class more unique.

I'd -1, but with how the last appeal was handled with the advertising porn stuff, because a guy put phub.com on a computer screen, I feel this is on the same level as that. If he got accepted then I don't see why this one wouldn't. The last one was a joke the person did, and so is this, so I don't feel it's fair to deny him and change the standard when we just set the standard for this stuff on the other appeal. For that reason, I'm going to +1.

I'm just disappointed with the rioting and all that shit. Most people are in concurrence that the officer used excessive force and wasn't trained right, even other officers agree. And then all this rioting bs isn't helping anything at all, they're just destroying people's stuff that had nothing to do with the incident and destroying their own cities. I hope for anyone who lives in those areas that you stay safe and that nothing happens. People are crazy and I don't know what they're doing.

I mean, it's just insulting you and making you look like a fool, and that sits with people for a while. It's your reputation and image you're representing here, so you decide what you want to do.
