Okay, so I just looked through every screenshot I had of yesterday and I cannot find a single one from that sit. so obviously I'm gonna have to +1 this, that's my bad and I'm still semi new to staffing on larger servers where I'm basically required to screenshot every sit for cases like this, I'll work on it. Logs show that he was killed twice so I warned him and the dude also wanted him jailed. I said NLR x2 because he had killed himself and I had read that as another death on his part by accident (he was never warned for nlr x2 I just misread/misspoke). Reading everybody above's reply I'm split. I've heard so many different things from so many people that I don't even know who's word to trust most of the time. I have had staff higher up than me tell me multiple different things before, ie; unless they have proof don't warn them/ Go off of what logs say, and if it shows them getting killed warn them. After reading what Dark said I guess in cases that have to do with rdm/nlr I will require some sort of proof otherwise I'll just dismiss the case. Sorry for messing up again +1

Okay, but he had nothing to disprove the logs? Which show that he killed the reporter for seemingly no reason. That is the only argument I have for this, The dude that reported him didn't have proof that he wasn't killed in his base, but he did have logs on his side which is literally all you can take in an rdm case, unless its a special case like this where one party was saying he was inside of his base. But he had literally no proof whatsoever that he was in his base. Once again, I do understand that it is innocent until proven guilty, but he had nothing to prove himself as innocent. The logs showed him as "guilty"

@DepressedBird I'm not sure if you were there throughout the entire sit because that sit alone lasted at least 7 minutes. I warned him for RDM because there was no proof of absolutely anything besides what logs show. You didn't have any proof that he was inside your base when you killed him, the only thing I had to go off of was logs showing that you hadn't adverted mug or anything of the sort and killed him. @SugarMyNuggets was also present for this. Somebody said you could be warned for false report because you are supposed to make a formal staff report like you did here. I'm not really sure what you mean by a "bias that affected your punishment" Either. The only punishment you got was 1 warn for RDM. Most staff will also tell you the exact same thing, one or both parties should have some sort of proof that he was either in or outside of your base. That being said he also did not have a screenshot or any kind of proof that he was outside of your base and I can understand if you would want the warn removed because of it, but that would need to be in a different format, not staff report. I warned you because you didn't have proof he was inside of your base when you killed him, and the logs did show that you killed him. It goes both ways, by YOUR logic you could just kill anybody and say they were in your base.

-1 I've never personally played with you on the server I don't believe but the playtime definitely needs to get bumped. It's very rare to see people with less than 24 hours get accepted.

I was telling @Entity earlier that a combat medic would be an awesome prestige class. They can raid, but only assisting other people, they can purchase armor and heal. They spawn in with either an m1911 or a colt of some sort. (and obviously the healing thingy) They could be listed under criminals or just the neutral area. I had also said something about another cop class that could be a "crooked cop". Where he would spawn in with armor, own printers and could take bribes from people to bail them out of jail or just not arrest them at all. Those are all just concepts, everybody else would have to iron out the details and specifics.

I'm not gonna -1 you, because I have played with you and think you would make a good staff member. But MAKE SURE TO REALLY READ ALL THE STAFF RULES. And definitely beef up your paragraphs a bit, I asked around because I wasn't sure how many sentences per paragraph would be enough on GG, I was told at least 6. But a general rule of thumb is 4 or more sentences per paragraph.

Maybe with the attack on titan swep, where you use control to deploy the hooks. I've seen people really get going with that thing. But overall I completely agree I think more prestige classes would give more incentive to continue playing after you've reached a certain level. Not everybody likes to play as police ya know? (less incentive to play after reaching level 100)

Why should we choose you over other applicants? I believe you should choose me over other possible applicants because of what I have to bring to not just the staff team of Garnet, but the entire Garnet Gaming Community. I am generally a pretty kind and lighthearted guy, who will talk and at least attempt to get a long with everybody and anybody. I can talk to anybody that will listen and personally believe that is a good quality to help/ be present around the server. I also believe in 2nd chances, and forgive people for most things done to me and encourage others to do the same (in sits instead of warning people for stupid things I would encourage the person who reported them to forgive them and not have a permanent warn on their account) . My tolerance level for bullshit, is sadly is pretty low, and I get annoyed with certain things easily but I have been working on it and I believe that with a little more time I could use it to my advantage. (ie: being more stern with people) I'm not afraid of punishing anybody that is obviously breaking the rules, and I'd never pick and choose sides/choose favorites. I'm always on the server, and when there are staff on and people are complaining about how there reports aren't being handled I'd like to be that staff member that switches to on duty and handles them. I care about the community and how newer players perceive us as a whole. I cannot stand people ruining other players times on Garnet, for example prop block or mass RDM. I don't want newer players being scared off of this server because there first experiences experience on here is with minges ruining what little time they have spent with us. I know that you can't prevent certain things like that from happening entirely, but I would like to handle them quickly and in a professional manner. Lastly, as stated above I have been staff on multiple other servers, and in different game modes. All of them have used a different command system, and I generally am able to grasp newer concepts very easily. I don't believe being trained in staff is something that is going to be very difficult for me. Have you ever been banned or punished on any server?
