  1. okay gunner, hopefully garnet's doing a bit, and while I understand that there's a lot of "dark edgy humor crime" in DarkRP, I definitely don't agree with the idea of adding a class that encourages "Predatory actions against minors." That's just me, though Edit: No clue why you're cringe-reacting me for not wanting a job class that would make the server more toxic, especially towards younger players. I'm not surprised, but still, doesn't make sense to me.
  2. -1 As much as the idea seems appealing, I can see a couple issues pertaining to this that prevents me from giving it a +1 currently. The abilities of the job listed here are not unique enough to warrant a new job. There already exists other classes can use donation boxes, heal, and base in the church. The closest "unique" trait this class would have would be the ability to own a base and use donation boxes, which is admittedly a bit interesting, but not exactly one that is in high demand or beneficial to the game state. I don't feel that the Priest should only be allowed to base in the "church building," or that the "church building" should be restricted to only allow the priest to base there. I like basing in the church, and I know a lot of other people who have good bases there too. If this were added, I would much prefer the priest be allowed to set up his congregation in any building he wishes, rather than just the single spot of the church. This is less of an issue and more of a general opinion on the proposed class, but I don't think the Priest should be allowed to print or anything. I think it would be funny and make sense if the Priest spawned with the "Annabelle" weapon from HL2.
  3. +1 Has been an issue for a minute. It really is annoying when in staff sits, I can't tell who I need to bring/reconnect or it gives me an incorrect name for a prop.
  4. What myths would you bust or prove?
  5. -1 - Only 1 Paragraph - Wrong Steam ID - Didn't Read Staff Rules Was the ban appealed successfully?
  6. Neutral I agree with the premise of this suggestion. Being able to get the money back if it was taken via any rule breaking seems like a good addition to the rules. I wouldn't have it as high of a punishment as "scamming," but I'd definitely consider it FailRP. I don't think the punishment should increase or decrease based on how much money was taken - If the rule breaker doesn't return the money, they should be punished. I agree very much with @Errol's post. I've got no clue what @sureak and @IAreGunner 's point even is. Yeah guys, I know all the "good players" aren't gonna get sneakily NLR raided and have their stuff stolen, but this is still a valuable addition to the rules. Not everybody has 5 alts and dupes for bases. This rule makes a lot of sense, especially for newer players.
  7. -1, re: Chawhead, also IIRC, Leaving & Rejoining to avoid a raid is already punishable. I recall an older rule saying something along the lines of: "You have to wait at least 30 minutes to rejoin if you leave during a raid" or something, which makes it FailRP. If this is an already existing rule, we don't need need a rule addition. I can't find anything that backs this up on the rules on the forums, but I swear up and down that this rule exists or existed at some point in time.
  8. To be fair, @Merk, he had an appointment.
  9. -1 I like looping, only for the fact that it is a pain in the ass to go over and manually set songs every time. If there was an option to somehow play Soundcloud playlists on the radio, I would +1 this in a heartbeat, but as of right now, looping is too useful to remove.
  10. incredibly polite person from my experiences with you. Very calm and level-headed as well. +1
  11. Neutral -1 Love playing with ya FGB, but last I saw you you were being a bit of a minge, so I can't in good consciousness give you a +1. Basically what Conway said here. Don't be a minge, and you'll be fine. After seeing @NotDeadPool2's post, gonna be a no from me. Give it quite a bit of time to improve yourself. While seeing the evidence that this is regarding the rapist job.... Yeah, no. The Rapist Job is a straight downgrade from the current Covid spreader, and the only reason people would want it back is because "Haha, Rape funny." Keeping my -1.
  12. -1 Nobody should be safe from random auto-hits. Removing the possibility for Hobos to be targeted randomly can remove a large % of the server. Hobos are one of the easier targets, as well. God forbid you get someone who's been sitting in their Industrial base farming printers for the past 4 hours. Keep Hobos as a target.
