  1. Right, The guy wasn't like super far out. He was a step out of the door frame when I killed him. Also thanks Vibe.
  2. The screenshot where hes dead outside of KH is the one that would be relevant to this scenario. However I am not arguing that he was in or not KH. What I am arguing is that it is never explicitly defined that the status of KOS would leave the offender if he were to leave the KOS'd area.
  3. He was the one who reported me. I believe the burden of proof is on him.
  4. In-Game Name: Shrugger/Charybdis Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:33846304 When did the punishment occur?: 4:55 PM PST | 6/26/2018 Warn/Ban Reason: The Navy SEALs have claimed the KH and set it on KOS(Kill On Sight). The individual who I killed dipped into the KH giving me time to injure him but not kill him. My second stab, outside of Killhouse, did happen to kill him. Throughout both stabs I had and maintained sight on the offender. I was reported to RDM and Lua took the sit. He told me that KOS is invalid once the individual left Killhouse and warned me for RDM. Who was involved?: Lua Why should your appeal be accepted?: My appeal should be accepted because the advert never claims that the KOS ends once the individual leaves the Killhouse nor do the rules state that the KOS status disappears once the individual leaves. In fact the rules state that I am allowed to kill them should they intrude on the claim(which the individual did). The ruling Lua made is not reflected in the rules and therefore is invalid for a RDM warn reason. Proof (Screenshots/Recordings): From Rules
  5. I remember Garnet stating that it was intentional to remove the primaries(forgot the reason though) from SOC medic classes though I would prefer if he added smoke grenades or something else to set SOC faction medics apart from entry medics I would agree with you if the only two SOC Class groups were USASF and SEALs, but look at MARSOC. They have a unique line of SCAR weapons for every class, except medic, with every single one of them solidifying their position as a mid to long range specialist. When comparing MARSOC to SEALs for example I can see the clear difference built into the two different class groups and their separate purpose. When I attempt to do this to USASF and SEALs it is difficult to find the same level of separation as MARSOC to SEALs. If all three SOC groups could be uniquely defined as MARSOC is to the other two it would create a sincere tone of unique to every SOC faction. While I do agree that we should merge some of the factions together(made a suggestion awhile back asking Army-Marine, GB-MARSOC, and DF branding as DEVGRU if the merge was army&marines based factions to marines based factions) Garnet has made himself clear in the past that he wouldn't do it so this route at solving the problem is blocked. Personally, I believe a distinction can still be made between 3 SOC groups. As of now MARSOC has laid claim to the long range superiority route so that one is no longer an option. This leads us to extreme Close Quarters Battle(SMGs, Shotguns, and flashbangs) and a mid-range effective range (Rifles, Carbines, LMGs, and grenades) as two potential specialties that Garnet could adopt. However this decision should be made by Garnet independently if this suggestion is accepted.
  6. Description: I go through the update made to the class groups of United States : Green Beret and United States : Navy SEAL and analyze the lack the specialty given to them. To show the lack of Specialty, I review the classes in the class groups of United States : Green Beret and United States : Navy SEAL in a side by side comparison. After making it apparent that the two class groups were not given specialties I go over how the specialties should be defined and suggest weapons that could be used if this suggestion is accepted. This suggestion is not meant to give a definitive answer on how to solve this problem. This suggestion is designed to make a problem apparent and to give possible suggestions as what can be done. Reasoning: Since before I left the server, The leaders of MARSOC, SEALs, and myself(representing USASF) spoke with the Super Admin at the time about shortening the amount of classes to force specialties onto the three SOC groups. As much as I am glad this change has been implemented in my absence, it is unfortunate that while MARSOC did obtain a specialty, sniping, it appears that SEALs and USASF have became near copies again. To help demonstrate my point I have done a side by side comparison with commentary of the classes for your convenience. US Green Beret: Rifleman -garnet_gbm4a1 -garnet_m1911 US SEAL : Assualt -garnet_navymp5 `garnet_fiveseven The starter classes hands a standard rifle to the US Green Beret : Rifleman while gifting a SMG to the US Navy SEAL : Assualt. This indicates that the United States : Green Beret should be at a more mid-range combat zone while SEALs are leaned towards the CQB end of things. US Green Beret : Field Medic -weapon_medkit -garnet_m1911 US SEAL: Medic -weapon_medkit -garnet_fiveseven The two medic classes are nearly identical to each other and in the case of US Green Beret : Field Medic, it appears to be a carbon copy of US Army : Support. However, I am aware that the medical classes of all factions have been made to be the medkit and the class group's pistol. Side-note:Maybe add weak primaries or smoke grenades to SOC Medics? US Green Beret : Breacher -garnet_super90 -garnet_mk2frag -garnet_m1911 US SEAL : Tactical -garnet_super90 -garnet_mk2frag -garnet_fiveseven The designated specialty classes of both the United States : Green Beret and the United States : Navy SEAL appears to be a near duplicates of each-other. If the difference of pistol was meant to specialty that set these two class groups apart feel free to deny this post. However, seeing the stark difference between the specialty class for United States : MARSOC and the specialty class of the other two, I feel this is not the case. US Green Beret: Commander -garnet_gbm4a1 -garnet_p226 US SEAL : Commander -garnet_navymp5 -garnet_super90 -garnet_fiveseven The officer/whitelisting classes for both class groups seem to be contrasting from what the "standard" was set on these classes. To begin, While the two other SOC group classes only have one primary weapon, the US SEAL : Commander class has two(Other factions that have two primaries on commander are Spetsnaz, Vega(bomb), and DF). While on the topic of MARSOC class comparisons, another contrast to the standard is that the US MARSOC : Commander class is the only class to have a unique primary weapon while every other commander class has weapons from their other classes. In terms of the US Green Beret : Commander to the US SEAL : Commander classes they appear to be the same as their default classes which the above analysis can be used, with the exception I already pointed out. I personally hate complaining about something and then giving out no answer on how to fix it. Here is an idea for Garnet to role with if he decides to fix this issue. First, he needs to independently determine what he wants the specialties of the United States : Green Beret and United States : Navy SEAL class groups are. While I mean no offensive to the current leader, which both I happen to be good terms with. I feel that it is better to independently determine what the class specialties are because : complaints on how it should be done, complaints on how garnet "misinterpreted" what the leaders wanted, new leaders thinking they get to choose new class load-outs, and some other concerns I am certain Garnet would not like to deal with. While I believe in independently figuring out what the specialty should be it should line up in the same category MARSOC was designed in, a singular load-out of weapons(the SCAR collection in the class-group United States : MARSOC) as well as well defined specialty( Sniping in the class-group United States : MARSOC for example) To round out this suggestion is a list of prior used weapons(that I remember and would make sense for US) that could make a potential comeback(in its old or a brand new state): P90 KRISS Vector FN FAL G3A6 H&K G36C H&K UMP .45 M79 GL Flashbang Additional Information: N/A Reminder: This suggestion is a work in progress. If you have something you would like to add on or something you feel should not be included, feel free to include it in a friendly and positive manner. Thanks for reading!
