This reminds me of an MRP player that stopped playing not to long ago

What kind of MRP player? Were they recently banned and/or demoted from a certain rank?

  2. It's already been said, but there is a huge issue with complacency in the staff team. I haven't been as vocal as I used to be on the forums, but I've pretty much kept my overly-critical opinions in the TS. Unfortunately, it seems many players don't agree with my experiences that have worked in the past, which further shows me why Ieft in the first place. However, it still pains me to see the current state in terms of the mindset and I truly wish for improvement despite being uninvolved. I'm still around to impart any wisdom, even if it falls on deaf ears, because I still get enjoyment out of trying to help achieve goals.

Apart from that obvious problem that has been around for quite a while now, it's refreshing to see your interest in implementing possibly controversial ideas, which is something I think the server needs. I'm glad to see Rust has been doing well and I've been trying to get into it.

In a perfect world, I could agree. In a non perfect world the management team will clique up, wipe anyone they don't like, and only resign after being completely pushed out by the community. Staffing cannot be preventative, it has to be reactionary. If you look at the track records of "staff oversight", Trips DF was the first faction that was "staff ran". Trip was micro managed and eventually wiped not for anything he or anyone in his faction did, but because of staff's opinions on the players that were in the faction. I'm not too down for maining garry's mod anymore, but if I was I'd much rather join a server where the opinion of the collective mattered compared to the opinion of 1 or 2 members of the staff team.

In a perfect world, I would agree. However, in this non-perfect world, the "collective" typically doesn't know what it wants. That's why there are people at the top to make that informed decision.

Throughout my time as General and even as an officer, I tried and (would say) succeeded to keep 1MD and MARSOC as a solid faction to lead the way in terms of leadership, management, and accountability. To push a seperate agenda, I would say a lot of this was possible due to little to no staff interference within the faction. My perspective of it was that while everything was falling apart or going through rapid change, MARSOC and marines would remain at a comfortable constant in strength and general maturity(As much as one can when it comes to playing a Garry's mod server). Although it's not my problem, nor am I in the position to care, I will say this is pretty disappointing. I haven't talked to anyone about what happen, but from an outside perspective it sure looks bad.

Today's results could have been avoided if there was more oversight and accountability in the faction, which has been lacking for months. I'm just wondering when a leader will step up and have the responsibility to do the right thing instead of being stubborn and blinded by arrogance.

yes, I was toxic when I got back on with my broken ban and I acted immature. I don’t recall ever threading to ddos. If there is any evidence Which I don’t believe there is I would love to somehow explain myself. I know what I did in the past. I wouldn’t intentionally lie. I’m not gonna respond from here on out if you wanna talk to me I’ll see you in game.

This is like more than the 5th time you do this (not just in this community). No one's buying it.

  6. Interesting idea that was brought up in the past. I would love to see it work out, but I've lost my faith in most people online to put in the good faith effort that an idea like this would require.

Seriousness aside, I nominate SythenMcSwiggity, Jester, and Shrugger to oversee this organization.

I didn't play 75 hours but I played a lot and was a staff on many servers so I know how to be a staff member

Sorry, you still need 75 hours minimum in order to be considered for staff.

because officer have to much to do

??? No faction rank on this server has too much to do. It is simple to conduct tryouts and whatever else an officer would like to do that falls within the rules/rp of the server.

MP will not be coming back. If anything, this post just contradicts was Taffy said. Officer should have more to do by doing things like assigning enlisted to gate duty if they want some more RP.
