That's what some of our community members completely miss is that whether server pop is at 103 because of farms or "real players", there will never be 103 people visible all at once or even close, people will be afk, people will be in bases, and yeah some people like to walk around with some bubby buddies. Hell, at least half of the real active players you see everyday in the street don't farm, and may not have even based in years. There will be roughly 120-210 printers somewhere on the map everyday, all that determines who will be the richest is whoever is most content to sit behind those props like the fucking Alamo, sometimes for quite literally 2 full days at a time.

    Kinda splitting hairs with you here but hear me out. 

     

    All big farm bases have a way to get printers in and out. If there was another way to make money, then the exact bases you're referring to will build a way to get those items in and out just as fast as printers, but it also creates a bigger hole, and what do bigger holes do? they entice raiders, especially if the bigger holes are on the biggest bases. This brings us back to Cityrp. If we had CRP then we could add this and it would 100000% increase your odds of a successful raid just because of the nature of the bigger holes, you could run in on foot, try to get in the car as they're pulling in, or just try to force your car through as fast as possible in an attempt to get inside. It would completely revolutionize both raiding and building, and it would all be new. But..........................

    Here's some attention to detail. Notice the screenshot is taken on evocity, a map that is virtually only used when vehicles are also involved. GG DRP is a mostly vanilla server; however, maybe if GG CRP comes back to life you could make the suggestion there since A: There will already be downloads. and B: It gives players an additional reason to buy the more utilitarian vehicles from the dealer.

    Came back to add to my post; I am 100% ready to back this. I don't mind promoting it and running gunshops near spawn and the like. @Proggy If the server does come back and is vastly understaffed I am willing to help out. (I'll keep my behavior clean 🙂). I'll go the full 9 too, forum posts, promotion, giveaways, etc.

    I am personally against *nearly* all building restrictions. Being able to use the glass in the way you describe allows for more unique and otherwise not possible bases. The community's creative builders would be more likely to do more creative bases in cool spots if they can guarantee their printers will be safe when the raiders come. *

    Appreciate the love homie. What do you think about currently existing jobs? For example hobo, who can't use keypads for fading doors. I don't think they should be allowed to print, it's just not the purpose of the job imo

    I just know that even just rping cost money and printing is the only way to get it, locking off financial support to some of the more "rp" jobs, especially for new players more likely to play them cuts off that avenue of play, leading them down the typical meth manu. path. Not sayin they gotta have mega farms, but the ability to still progress while rping would put more people into those rp slots

    DarkRP is stale and making the excuse of "its vanilla" isnt helping

    I am one of those "richest players" who contributes to this wildly inaccurate "20%" alt count you mentioned. As I type this, DRP has 29 players on, and I highly doubt 20% of that is alts, now aside from that, I haven't farmed in easily over a month, because I got bored of the game. You seem to have made this post because you too are bored of the game, and that is perfectly fine. Don't play the game! No one is forcing you to play it and coming on to the forums to make another empty complaint that will lead to nothing does not change a single thing. People take breaks from this community all the time, and honestly it's probably what keeps them coming back. The server can only fit 120 players at a time, which means not everyone will be on at the same time, and not everyone will even be interested in the game at once. People take breaks from the game. It is natural. If you don't like the game then take a break. Don't just come on to the forums and make another one of these "rich players.......alts......boring....." posts with absolutely no suggestions at all. You were so desperate to even come up with a paragraph length that you mentioned rohan, who hasn't been staff since I WAS STAFF, so long ago, like you mentioned, before most of the managers we have today even got their 10K starting money. Now to touch on adding something to the game, I would like to see evocity. Why? Well it's a bigger map for less densely populated areas, and everyone will be forced to build a new base and we won't have so many of these pesky "unraidable" bases. The only thing that makes a base "unraidable" is the mf inside guarding it, no single base is undeniably "unraidable".

     

    TLDR: If you don't like the game, don't play it, instead of making an empty complaint post like this, mentioning inaccurate information, and mentioning shit that quite literally happened last decade that hasn't been relevant since then. 

    As my contribution to this "suggestion" thread, I personally would like to see evocity*

    I was told CRP was reopening back in November, it's not reopening and I dont care about it at all anymore its never going to come back ever so just give up they're not bringing it back its over that server will never see the light of day again and all the hype they had for it MONTHS ago is dead

    I usually dont comment on these, but you are an exception. I find that there is virtually nothing in your paragraph section, and you failed to mention your PBS ban. PBS is a ban totally removed from MRDM, because if we're being honest a decent portion of the staff team has an MRDM ban, but PBS is not something I can forgive, especially since you didn't mention it. Also with you mentioning the fact that you were staff not too long ago, quit, and now you're back, makes me think you'll just flake out again.

    Here's what I'm thinkin: If you silence them, they will want to retaliate. If you publicly shame them, you raise the chances of eliminating the issue

    Edit: I have dealt with the nasty deprived garrys mod under-world, the crowd that this would effect is also the most likely to come back later on an alt. I personally think there should be a "racism jail" or something of the sort in spawn where they are muted and jail for 10 minutes at a time, and when they leave you ban them for LTAP.

    Here's a fix to needing more buttons: allow "hex" bases again and I will personally teach everyone how to use a base like that, boom no more need for defense buttons gg
