And I was a staff member from February 2020 to March 2020 prior to my ban. Why should we choose you over other applicants? [minimum 2 paragraphs] First off, I was previously a staff member on two separate occasions on the server not too long ago. My first departure was due to personal matters and the second was a resignation because of a false ban against me. However, before that I was putting in 100% into my role as a staff member and if I wasn't for the ban I got I would have been promoted that month. All my fellow staff members said that I did a fantastic job and I want to be able to help out the server again. I hope that nothing unfortunate happens this time and I can confidently say that I will stay an active and loyal staff member and act to the best of my abilities. Second, my past job was in administration. During the fall and winter, I was and hope to continue to be a ice hockey official. Covid did cause me to be laid off from that job and currently I am working full time so I will try to put in as much effort as I can. When I was and ice hockey official my job was to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all players, coaches, and spectators. This can directly be translated to the server. My job as a staff member is to ensure that all players are following the rules correctly to maintain a fun and safe environment for players to experience. Have you ever been banned or punished on any server? If so, Include details. Yes I have been banned on Garnet Gaming once and it was a false Chargeback case. This may change during August because I will be attending college and might not be able to contribute as much as I used to. If you have any, what hobbies or activities are you involved in outside of Garry's Mod? I play Ultimate Frisbee with friends and have recently joined a league. . (include any proof): I requested my custom class back after it had been deactivated. I put in a request and when Garnet saw it he responded with "You're a moderator, this perk was charged back 5 months ago yet you're trying to have it reassigned? banning you now ", I did not get a chance to explain that I had not charged back and I was not the one who purchased it. I used another player to buy it, and I guess he charged back the purchase 5 months ago. Yet I had been on the server for months with no knowledge of it and I continued using my custom class for months until I came after a break and it was deactivated. Yet the custom classes were deactivated for many people and I just assumed that was why I didn't have it. Why should your ban be removed?: Firstly, I have been an active and loyal member of the server for a long time. I have donated around $200 to the server myself and had not had any issues with charge backs or anything like that. I was also a staff member and I was doing my job to the best of my ability. Secondly, I was not the one who charged back on the purchase, I do not understand why I was banned without being able to explain that and even when I did I was mostly ignored by Garnet. However, I did not have proof of the purchase because I recently bought a new computer around 3 months ago and the screenshots were on that hard drive. Lastly, I still want to be a part of the Garnet community. I would also have just accepted not having a custom class if I was told before hand that it was charged back. I like to think that I am an understanding guy.

Well if the ban is lifted then I would want to join back. If not then I guess it’s just my resignation.

@Valdruul This is the right spot to put your application. -1 I would appreciate if you could beef up your paragraphs a little more and add what would makes you unique. Try to make yourself stand out from the crowd. I want to know more about you. "I am respectful during sits and I am on a lot." Yes, those are all good aspects but those are commonplace and are repeated constantly in applications. However, I like that you have no warns . That's great! That tells me that you're respectful and follow the rules which gives you two common qualities with everyone on the staff team. Beef up paragraphs and tell me what makes you unique and I will gladly change my -1 to a +1. Good luck and I hope to see you around the server!

Personally I don't t know you too well, I have seen you around once or twice. Having past experience as a administrator is relieving but I wish you had more reasons that you stand out amount other candidates. I am going to stay neutral for now and see what other members of the community have to say.

-1 Because of reasons above. First you only wrote a single paragraph that has many spelling mistakes which show little to no care in looking over the app. Your reasons for being a staff member are weak and don't tell us what makes you unique.

If it wasn't for unforeseen complications I would've continued to be active but I couldn't balance the two very well. Needed some time to recuperate. I plan to be much more active and continue to do so. Thanks, @DepressionBird and hopefully I will get to see you around more than I already have!

Unfortunately, I had personal matters of mine which took much of my time away from playing. I had no idea how long the circumstances would've take so I did not file for a LOA. However, during my time as a moderator I followed staff rules diligently and took as many sits as possible. I tried my hardest to uphold the core values of the server and promote a fun environment for every player, OG or new. I want to continue to help improve the overall experience for every player on the server like I did last year. Hopefully, I won't have any family issues this time and can continue to move up the latter and prove how much I can bring to the server. Second, my primary job is in administration. During the fall and winter, I am a ice hockey official. My job is to promote a fun and safe environment for all players, coaches, and parents every time I step on the ice. I have to memorize all the rules of the game and ensure that everyone is following the rules and guidelines set by the league. My job is not easy, most of the time I am getting screamed at by players, coaches, and spectators a like. My job is no different that being a staff member, and with my experience from my job I am absolutely positive that I am fit for the position of a staff member far better than many other applicants.
