So basically, I think something real small got inside my laptops keyboard. Am I just fucked?

  Depends on the laptop. Some of them you can remove the keyboard, some you actually have to remove the keyboard to access the heatsink. Depending on what got inside, you could also try to soak it with 91% or higher Isopropyl alcohol while it's turned off + has no battery and let it dry out in hopes of dissolving or disturbing it.
