    Never would have been able to bring back 212th without you. Dedicated to recruiting and making the server stronger. You've brought some people over from other Garnet servers and really helped us grow.

    Do want to point out that you should change the Title to Python's staff app as Barlex is the lore name and role

    Few things to add:

    We don't have a Coruscant map per se, but we have Nar Shaadaa, which is a similar sort of slummy underworld planet. Given that we have this map, doesn't make sense to add another. Also, I've checked out that Coruscant map, its fucking massive. We would need close to 100 players on to really use that map well.

    3 & 4 look great, they both have space for in base events and out of base events.

    I have an idea for Mustafar. With the droid classes automatically no targeted, it would be a great map to have semi-PvP events. Could potentially have battalion leaders role to stay as clone or be set to droid. If we were to take any of the maps, I would do this one.

  3. Suggestion: Give MagnaGuards Mexican’s Shock Staff

    Reasoning: In lore MagnaGuards have always been equipped with Electrostaffs in their role as bodyguards for high profile CIS officials and Sith. This would give them that ability for RP purposes if not in combat. Mexican’s Shock Staff is already on the server for Coruscant Guard, this would just to give it to MagnaGuards as well, allowing them to serve the role of DEG for CIS. As it’s already on the server, it wouldn’t require any more addons.

    Okay, it is supposed to be like that. Probably won't be changed until  the next update, but I'll see if there's a fix for it.

    I think you’d make a great GM. You’re always active and you’re great about being a pilot for events, as well as being a good EC. My only issue with your application is I think your events could use a bit more of a storyline, but I’d be happy to work with you on that during training. Your availability earlier in the day is a huge bonus as you and @Garnet-ghost  could collab on events and you have familiarity with each other from 104th.

  6. I agree with what @Bortnik said. Your attitude has definitely improved and you're a great staff member, but I'm not sure you're quite ready to be a GM yet. You have a bit of a tendency to rely on your own intuition, even if it doesn't match with the event. A huge part of being a GM and making good events is cause and effect, and this is something you struggle a bit with. If you remember, I ran a zombie event a few weeks ago, where the CIS scientist had escaped with a vial. Without prompt, you searched the ship and "found the vial". While it's great that you're thinking things through and not overlooking deatils, the story of the event has to dictate what players find. During that event I asked you to false that because the next phase of the event relied on the event character still having that same vial that you "found". If for the next few events I can see you think more like a GM and less like a player, I'd give you a +1, but I want to see you put yourself in that mindset first.  Other than that, you're great about being active and you have a really strong application.

    If you have the hard drive space, you can install windows with bootcamp. All you need to do is split the hard drive and you can have Windows and MacOS on the same Mac. It’s how I’m playing now and it runs a lot better than my old PC did

    In all seriousness, thanks for the work you’ve put in the past few days. This looks great and I think it’s really gonna help get player retention as well as higher numbers.

    Hate to be that bitch rn, but I wanted to point out that the Lore character’s named Boil, idk maybe it was a typo on the sheet. If it’s not an easy fix, once someone earns that role, I can just have them change their job in game, no big deal

  9. To give an outside perspective, I think this would be good for the community. There always seem to be issues with MRP as there is always conflict and arguing on the forums. If you look at the population post, everyone is saying what they think is wrong, but no one is giving viable solutions. With the problems in MRP being all over, reforming the server might be the best way to go. With the amount of time the server has been running, the current state of it is an insult to how it was intended to be. To the people who have problems with a potential re-write, I have one question for you: Are you happy with the way the server is now? If you aren't, what do you have to lose from a new formation?

    I agree with all of what you said, especially the GM part. For the section I quoted, I want to let you know that Conway plans to expand the donator classes, look at his post in SWRP suggestions

  12. I think something we should do for SWRP is change the way it is listed on the GMod server page. Right now it just says "Daily Events" and doesn't accurately reflect that it's a semi-serious server with a large community. I also think that GM's should get the ability to set jobs or even create a Senior GM rank that can as when Gamma, Phantom and Bishop were the admin team, almost every event had unique event characters. Right now the only person who can do that is Conway, and since he is manager, the GM team around him shouldn't be forced to bother him in the event that he isn't on or drag him out of bed (sry abt that lol @Alex Conway). I would love to have event characters in my events as they could make events more interesting. As we start to get into having more off worlds, this along with bringing in more types of NPCs would mean events aren't just Clones vs CIS, and have some component of PvP like when events consisted of having teams of event characters attacking the clones. Currently, my events follow this format:

    - I set up droids and props at outpost 

    - I send a unit on patrol, they get shot at by NPCs

    - They report what the found at the outpost

    - Everyone goes to another outpost for a bigger fight with NPCs

    - End of event

    I want to do so much more with my events but not being able to set jobs really hurts it. We could potentially have something like two on worlds and one off world a day, but the GMs being so limited makes it difficult to come up with new ideas that are fun to make as well as fun for the players. I'm sure I can speak for other GM's when I say this: MAKING EVENTS THAT WE KNOW PEOPLE ARE GOING TO GET BORED WITH FUCKING SUCKS. As I've been rebuilding the 212th, I've had first hand experience with the low pop. I've had 7 new recruits, only one has shown any sign of wanting to stay, and one has already been kicked out for being a minge and fucking with the generator too much. If we can get new players that have the mindset of this being a committed server, they will contribute. If we can get new players who want to play and we can give them fun shit to do while they're here, they will stay. Yesterday's 4th of July event was our biggest event in a while and that would have been nothing compared to what we had in May and early June.

  13. With LFS being added to replace StarWars Vehicles, we also lost having Capital Ships that could be placed above planets for invasions or events. These addons would add two Republic ships and two CIS ships as LFS entities and as props. They are compatible with the LFS radar system and are a combined 5.8 MB.
