What happened? (include any proof):

I was banned for using ropes. I had created a base on top of a roof in downtown (see attached photo) that contained several ropes inside of it. I obtained the ropes by creating a dupe in a singleplayer world. I included the ropes in order to confuse people who enter the base. The base had no printers and existed solely as a gag to make people laugh. The ropes (at least on my end) did not cause any lag and were not intrusive to players outside of my base.

Why should your ban be removed?:

I feel that a 3 month ban is excessive. I did not place the ropes with malicious intent. I have also seen several other players, including staff, use ropes in their builds and even using banned props. I had no idea that this was punishable and I will refrain from using ropes in the future.

You had ropes covering the entire spawn tunnel literally 15 minutes before you were banned. I kicked you from the server with the reason: next time you use ropes will be a ban.
I guess you didn't take that seriously, and made a dumb structure on a roof with really thick ropes.

Using adv dupe to spawn things that are disabled on the server is exploiting.
Is enforcement of this^ loosely applied on the server? yes. however you were specifically told the next time you did it would be a ban, and you did it anyways.

Next time listen to staff when they tell you not to do something.
