Hey yall, recently bought me a 2005 R1, and have been slowly fixin it up. 52,000 miles, but engine has been swapped out, top end rebuilt, valves done, seals done, the whole nine yards. For those that are interested in getting into the hobby, feel free to ask me questions. Just wanted to share my passion with yall.

I had a 89 FZR1000 with a microsquirt and gsxr750 throttlebodys

this ones got an 05 frame, 06 engine, and fitted with a newer 07 Front end. the fact it even all worked is wild

 

also them FZ1000s are wheelie machines, similar to the mt10 but less torquey. Ive got a deathwish being on a liter bike but not THAT bad

I mean stock the fzr1000s are the same hp as a modern gsxr750. Mine probably had a tad bit more going from carbies to fuel injection and bigger injectors... And I ran 110 blend

 

Also I think your confused on what bike im talking about Mine looked like this 

But with a R1 tail and r1 brembos and idk remember what exhaust
