Vanilla's Turbolaser Tool

This addon allows for turbo laser batteries to be set up.  I've tested it in single player and it is absolutely amazing.  You can customize the damage radius, damage, and speed of the projectile.  By pressing r a GM can set up an automatic bombardment entity, which you can customize spread, frequency, and number of shots. 

For example, a GM can use the hyperspace addon (I recommended it), then immediately press R while they're near the ship to wherever they need to shoot at.  This will set up an entity that will shoot a number of explosive projectiles that look like turbolaser beams, simulating an orbital bombardment.

 

The mod has been updated since (to make the process automated) but this is the only video I've found displaying the turbolaser:

I think this would be a really cool addon to have. Not guaranteeing it will be added, but will try to make it happen.
