While my experience is minor, I would love to expand my knowledge and be able to help out in any way that I can. I am very out going and eager to help. I am also very quick to learn, so any training that I would need would be a breeze. I know I am on odder hours than most, so I can help when no other mods are on and the players are running rampant with the prob blocking and the mass rdms. I know that this isn't direct experience with gmod but I do feel that it helps here. I am studying to become a teacher and one of the main things that I have learned in my years of prep is how to resolve drama and conflicts quick and easily. I am not one for drama, so I will hopefully keep any sit a drama free zone and make sure that both parties are heard and that we can always come to a resolution. The main reason why I am applying is because I want to keep this server as great as it already is and I feel like I can help with keeping it a safe space for everyone. I would say a total of a year to two years? (Totally throwing a number out there because its been so long but roughly that much) I've previously been on and off as a staff member in the past but each time it was a learning experience and blast at the same time 🙂Why should we choose you over other applicants?: [minimum 2 paragraphs] Based on my years of playing the server and previous history of being a staff member I think I would make a great addition to the staff team once again. I've tried helping players countless times even when I was just a player there were instances that newer players didn't know how to use tools to create their base. Without hesitation I always try to take the extra step and show them how to not only follow the rules properly but make the experience fun so they can enjoy the most out of this community and the game around it. My experience of not only just being a moderator/staff for gmod I've been a executive staff and even a manager at countless Rust servers over the years. When I have a passion for a community and my heart is set on helping that community and offering a helping hand to make sure all our users get the best experience, maybe even get the chance to create something new for everyone I will put 100% of my effort in to make it happen!   Empathy, patience, and understanding are key factors of what makes me a great staff member. These words a long time ago was something I struggled with deeply especially in my early stages of being an admin at Garnet. I was young, impatient, and only cared about what will get me to the top. Over the years having permissions and being given the ability to do what most people can't isn't something to be taken advantage of, its an opportunity to show your perseverance and show that with the acceptance and trust of those around you, you can not only make a positive difference but prove to everyone that even though you can provide punishment, even though you can strike down hard on rule breakers, you can ask yourself. How am I improving the server? Is banning and warning the only options to showing these players what's right and wrong? Sometimes it takes patience and understanding to grant the users an opportunity to correct their mistake. Some users require empathy so they know you are not there just to type a few commands and be on your way. The users are the guests of the server, they can potentially be someone you may play another game with in the future. Maybe a best friend. Being a Garnet Staff Member showed me how to be a Leader and Teacher and I think based off my experiences it will make me a great addition to the team 🙂   (For clarification the words I used to describe what an admin is and how they should be is not a stab at anyone here at Garnet I was merely speaking on my own experiences when I was staff here years ago!) If so, Include details: Total 10 There's a lot of context to the number of bans I have but the ones that matter most are.... 1) I have 2 mass RDM Bans:       - June 5th 2021       - March 22nd 2021 2) A warn limit Ban - May 9th 2021 If you search up my bans with my steam ID the rest of my bans are either mistakes or appeals accepted so I like to think those don't count since those bans were never carried out based on punishment and just misclicked bans and accepted appeals. Have you made any previous applications, If so when?: NoHow much time do you have to contribute to the role?: I do have a full time job so it varies depending on what's going on during the week but my goal is to devote 2 hours a day and that will give me a baseline to be active as much as possible. If anything I will be active way more than that but if I have some days that are too busy then I will devote at least a couple hours to help the server out 🙂If you have any, what hobbies or activities are you involved in outside of Garry's Mod?: I developed a strong connection with my teams that I manage over the years at my job, so much that we go out and have drinks and go bowling sometimes. We always enjoy each others company and will work hard the next day. I've always loved sports specifically football and basketball.
