Hi there. I looked up your SteamID because the situation seemed familiar and your in game name is Cyphreak at the time of this report. While I was not the one to issue the warn I was directly involved in the situation and I do have evidence you were metagaming. You cannot use chat messages in any shape or form to want or warrant someone this includes raiding. You have to physically see them breaking the law before issuing a want. The evidence I will provide below will show you wanting me then coming down from the upstairs portion of the PD thus proving you were not within eyesight or saw me attempting to raid the PD BEFORE issuing the want. Who are you reporting? Staff Your in-game name: Office Pig Your SteamID: STEAM_0:0:29065664 In-game name of reportee: THK ItsJesus Date & Time of Incident: 04/06/25, around 4 AM Timezone: US Eastern What Happened: This is similar to the scenario made in my last report. I was the police chief in the PD, and a PD raid starts (as confirmed by the advert made by both players). One of the players I had already wanted for trespassing in PD seconds before the raid started (AOS sign posted). The other person was wanted after for raiding the PD. The wants were issued because both actions are against the law, and I have to want in-order to arrest. However, one of the players reported me for meta-gaming, saying that there's no possible way I would've known there were raiding, despite the following facts: They made an in-character broadcast announcing their raid on the PD using the /advert command. This contrasts with using the /ooc (Out of Character) chat, which is for non-roleplay communication. They were visibly in the PD lobby raiding. They could audibly be heard in the lobby. However, this backstory is more to provide context and is not relevant. The main issue was that the staff member THK ItsJesus warned me for metagaming because I did not record my arrest. The staff member asserted that because I did not record the arrest, I'm de facto guilty for whatever accusation was made, even if the reporting party provides no evidence. As noted in my previous report, you can not warn a cop for an arrest simply because they did not have evidence. The following is also cited from a different appeal. [Source - Staff Training Document Tips & Tricks] As in the other appeal, I would like both my warn removed, and some sort of punishment applied to the staff member for making me have to fill this out. -
The issue I'm referring to is that this is your account, and it joined the server while you were banned, thus implicating you in breaking our rules against ban evasion. As for the NITRP, we have mr. @Chawhead investigating this atm. -
Nope. nothing specifically at all. as mentioned before, will there be talk about the RolePlay situation? Moderator Jesus basically said he had nothing to do with it, excusing himself from the whole situation, so it was in hands of a Mod that didn't have the perms yet to be able to ban, so it was made on his behalf.
