The decision to accept your report is due, but not limited to, the following:   After talking with Candy and reviewing the evidence we both came to the agreement that a reduction is fair in this case. You did Mass RDM but due to the fact it was near spawn there were similar players running back into the gas which appeared to be more than it was. Candy should have talked to you before banning you so you were aware of what's happening and why. Your ban will be reduced to 1 week Thank you once more for your report, and we apologize for any inconvenience.

Hi, yes i am the staff member, i had banned you for 10 years because of a bug on our side of the logs showing you killing people not with nerve gas but with climb_swep2 and the tec9 through walls. It was not a fact of lack of education but an affect of logs itself being bugged, the ban was reverted after me and another staff member tested nerve gas, the issue also has been reported and is getting fixed. Now with your ban it was updated within less than 10 mins and given the correct length i had also provided the reason for the ban to be updated to the aforementioned 2 weeks instead of 10 years, within that mass doesn't require a sit to be banned. I've sent the proof to the user handling the report, i just wanted to clear up the misconception.

(include any proof): the staff member thought i was killing people through walls, do to the kill feed and ban me for 10 years. since then it has been changed to 2 weeks after the staff was educated on the situation.  in reality i just threw some nerve gas in spawn and killed half a dozen people. now did i know i threw the nerve gas? yes. did i know how powerful it was? no. i havent really been on in 2-3 years and was just getting use to everything again. anyways im ok with a 2 week ban. but in the same breath i kinda feel let down. i didnt even get an admin sit, and if people in game didnt advocate for me i could still be sitting on a 10 year ban because the staff was not trained to handle the situation with the proper care and decided to just perm ban me. do to this situation i would like some grace but if not i understand thank you.
