Christmas is upon us, and players can once again enjoy the snowy version of Downtown, up until the end of the month. (in just under 3 weeks) For the 12 days of Christmas, more content updates will be added shortly Bank Robbery System Alyx is now whitelisted as a team allowed to rob the bank Second floor of the bank is unreachable (used as a cheap way of hiding outside the robbery range) Bank vault has been raised from 150k to 250k CPs now get a payout based off of how full the vault is when taking down a robbery suspect, they also get a significant amount of XP based off of the money in the vault too. Removed the ability for bank robbers to commit suicide. Missions A new way to earn standard pointshop points! Once a day, players will be given 4 unique chores to complete (with new ones to come) upon completing those, you will gain a pre-defined amount of Standard Pointshop Points, depending upon the severity of the task! Hitman System Automated hits will not be placed on players who are inside of spawn DJ Radio Corrected issue where the radio could only be interacted with by staff Bad Word Filter Created a new and modernized filter, this one will disallow muted players from getting around their mute by adding bad words into their sentences Mayor Role Cooldown for becoming Mayor after dying as one has been turned from 90 seconds (1.5 minutes) to 600 seconds (10 minutes) Explosives Now cause self-damage so you can no longer raid by shooting an RPG round at your feet Party System Friendly-Fire feature has been fixed, party members can no longer take damage from one another Corrected issue where party members could kill one-another in spawn Nocollided Props Fixed issue where you could turn your prop into a no-collided prop by parenting its physical properties from dumpster trash Medic NPC Fixed exploits where you can use the medic NPC from across the map, added sanity/distance/validity checks

The vibe i'm getting here if possible biased based sits which reflects the toxicity BoomerLWP is stating from his experience with you and your group. Why should we choose you over other applicants? [minimum 2 paragraphs] So I have been (at least in my opinion) pretty darn active over the past 4-5 months or so since I've started playing on Garnet. Over this period of time I've made an effort to try and form friendships with (or at least make cordial relations with) the users of this place, and I think that because of this I've tried my very best to not make enemies which would affect my ability to be rational, fair and balanced in regards to handling moderator tasks. Of course we all have times where perhaps we've had a bad day and lashed out at another user, or done something we shouldn't have done, but I personally believe that in my over 15 years of online gaming and dealing with troublemakers and minges I am pretty confident in my abilities to deal with situations calmly and fairly, even with people I consider a friend or someone I dislike. I also would point to the fact I have a good chunk of time on most days to put toward being an active staff member, and of course this would be a great asset considering recent events with staff LOAs and resignations. I've seen too many instances also recently of staff being overwhelmed by reports on especially busy days, which puts immense strain on the only active staff, and with the times that we also do have staff who are AFK or cannot access the server because of time zones (needing to sleep, etc.) I think I would be more than willing to forego any RP if needed and help keep the community free of issues. When it comes to staffing, I have always been all-hands-on-deck and never shirked my responsibilities. And if there were any need for me to announce a LOA, I would definitely not leave you guys in the dark. If I had to list shortcomings for the sake of transparency, I would say I'm no tech whiz. I'm 28 and have been around computers much of my life, and while I can attest that I know my way around a keyboard and can manage a staff menu if need be, I also have not had experience specifically with the tools that Garnet Gaming has provided to its staff. This is an issue of course since this is important to know in order to deal with reports, warns, jails, bans, you name it, but I believe I'm a capable and quick learner through repetition and I have been quite successful in my moderating duties in the past despite this. Otherwise I believe I am a team player and considering the staff team is now occupied with folks that I have regular communication and interaction with, I think these guys would be an immense help in matters where I may be confused or unsure, and I don't believe it's wrong to rely on others in such a situation. Aside from time, willingness to learn and a general level-headedness in times of stress, I think team-building and working together will help keep this server free of issues and we need everyone who is willing to chip in. It pains me to see players who feel like they've been burned by staff inaction, lack of care or by the sheer volume of time it takes in order for reports to be completed. This is why I really got the urge to apply recently, and I'm sure hoping that if you read this and you think I belong on the team, that you agree that many hands make light work. Did tell you in the staff sit multiple times and you fully understood it, maybe you should relook at the video of the sit which you should have. dude is a lvl 100, obviously knows the rules. video shows him as a citizen at first with multiple amounts of textscreen minging. and no didn't want to "build behind his hut," I wanted to take the building where the massive amount of textscreens were at. I'm so sorry that me reporting in-game for real issues is a problem, won't do it again. Maybe look over your D3A and Server Rules to see what's right and what's wrong, because to my knowledge I thought staff are there to enforce the rules and help players out? "Plug was doing what multiple other players were doing with texscreens... Did you want us to ban 6/39 people for technically violating the rules?" Maybe look at the video and understand the situation. 6/39 people is a crazy number, how'd you make that up? I didn't know rping was spawning massive amounts of textscreens saying cum on it. NEUTRAL I haven't really seen you in game so I have no opinion of you but some of the people you play with haven't been the best and I feel that kind of reflects on you.

I had the chance to speak with you over on Discord before posting this response, so you should already have a decent idea what my reason was for placing this ban on you. You got reported in-game and upon inspecting the evidence provided by the reporter, it appears as though you broke 3 rules prior to your ban. You can find the video below. https://streamable.com/0q5ij6 You were being raided and reconnected to the server to avoid the raid completing successfully. Once you got back in the server you taunted/dissed the raider in OOC saying "LMFAO PUSSY BITCH ASS" since they couldn't get your raidables (as a result of you reconnecting). There were also some minor issues with your base, which fall into the area of "failbase". In the video, it's shown that you didn't own all 3 of the exterior doors to the base before you disconnected, and there appear to be some missing keypads (someone please correct me on this if I'm wrong - the bitrate/quality of the video makes it hard to tell, but those of us who have seen the video so far can't seem to make out all the keypads.) My grounds for banning you were for FailRP, Failbase, and Diss in OOC. There were also accusations against you for NLR, which I couldn't fully prove beyond a shadow of a doubt, but did look to be present according to logs - this was NOT taken into consideration or used as grounds when placing the ban. I hope you find my explanation reasonable and that you understand why I chose to do what I did, and as I've already told you earlier, I'm sorry for any inconvenience this has caused you.

We don't go around banning people for things unless they are minging or causing issues. In this case, Plug was doing what multiple other players were doing with textscreens and (until our sit) no one had complained about. Did you want us to ban 6/39 people for technically violating the rules? Most importantly, I am not going to ban someone who is clearly RPing for NITRP as that makes no sense. Plug was interacting with multiple players, running his maze hut game, and was generally contributing positively to the server. I did jail him for RDM, but NITRP isn't intended to act like a "if you get reported for 3 rulebreaks you're banned" filter, so I used my discretion and asked him to fix some of the things that were bothering you or move. It was clear from your behavior in the sit that you did not want anything fixed and you were just trying to get someone banned. The TL;DR of this is -I used my discretion as the moderator providing over the sit to provide actionable solutions to you/told Plug to stop with the textscreen as NITRP for two textscreens was nonsensical and he'd already been punished for RDM. @Lt_Dan
