Hello [REDACTED] gamers, I felt like I had to make this post to let some of you know why I've been absent from the server, because I realized I've only let those that I interact with on a daily basis know of my new schedule.

I am officially a year away from getting my 4-year (bachelors) degree and I made an awfully stupid mistake of speeding up the process by overloading myself with more classes than I would ever want to take at a time DURING A SUMMER COURSE which I did not realize was an express semester (1 month shorter), the result of this has been CONSTANT frustration trying to catch up with a bizarre schedule in which I have an Exam every other day, and multiple (large) quizzes a day, accompanied by nearly reading 100 pages worth of material a day, and trying to process it all. I am taking over double the recommended number of classes that a typical student would take during a summer semester (2 vs 5).

My semester ends at the end of July/beginning of August (2 months from now) and I will then taper off my work and relax for a bit, while getting back in touch with the community. I'm sorry I couldn't make it to my promise of jump-starting VEGA, however, Phantom will more than likely handle that task better than myself. I wish all you high schoolers luck with your finals upcoming this week! (assuming you're from the US)

In the meantime, I'm making sure to maintain our server with optimization and more fluid gameplay, as well as a brand new forum engine which I fell in love with!

TL;DR

Granted permission by my university to take more classes in order to graduate early, took these classes during Summer (intended for students who fell behind). Currently taking multiple hard classes at a ~30% faster rate than they would've been otherwise. Unable to play the server due to constant studying and frustration from no time outside the house.

Still working on the server tho!

So... I was absolutely in love with Battlefield 3 and 4, it seems that when Battlefield 1 came out, I lost my connection with the franchise because I wasn't too happy with the choice of going back to World War 1, primarily because I enjoy urban warfare with automatic weapons to a much higher degree.

When I heard Battlefield V was going to be World War 2 based from @Phantom I was absolutely ecstatic, and I went to see the trailer. 5 minutes later and I am now beyond disappointed, hence why this thread has been posted. Battlefield fell victim to the left media and political correctness, which is fucking depressing.

Optimization

A heavy optimization patch has been pushed onto our server's gamemode, this will translate in better server performance, which will result in far less lag spikes when the server is under heavy loads, however it may not necessarily translate to better FPS for the client.

Event System

The Event system has been patched up to accomodate for the PermaProps update we pushed a few months ago while Tupac was absent from our developer's position.

You can expect events to start functioning again starting either the 24 or 25th of May. The Event system still includes deathmatch and team deathmatch with different themes. Feel free to suggest more ideas below!

Prerequisites
Failure to meet any of the following will result in the automatic denial of your application
Read both server and staff rules.
Make sure you are posting your application in the correct forum (DarkRP -> Moderator Applications).
Format the title of your application like so - [Your name] - Moderator application.
Reach a /playtime of 24 hours on the server you are applying for.
Do not copy your previous applications or anyone else's
Do not advertise your application on any platform

Staff Rules
1. Be respectful to all community members
2. Serve as a role model for other players
3. Do not harass users of the server.
4. Do not use administrative commands unless in case of emergency or if you are on duty or in a sit. I.E Physgun players off duty
5. NEVER question the final verdict of a higher up.
6. You must be 13 years or older to apply for staff
7. NEVER request a promotion
8. Do not alter the server rules in any way.
9. Do not be biased towards players
10. Do not use vulgar language during staff sits.
11. Keep a mature attitude at all times
12. You must have a sit before warning a player (exception for violations in non-OOC: Dis In OOC, Racism In OOC, @ chat spam, etc.)

Below you will find a link to all of the Community Guidelines, these are rules that do not vary depending on environment and must be followed regardless of setting:

GENERAL RULES

Do not disrespect other members of the community when out-of-character (OOC).

Discriminatory and/or derogatory behavior based on race, sexuality, gender, and religion are strictly prohibited, even during roleplay.

Do not spam
Example: OOC, Advert, Job, Voice, etc.

Do not post links on the server/forums (Unless associated with Steam / Garnet Gaming).

Do not abuse exploits or loopholes, report those to staff members, and you may receive a reward!

Do not impersonate other users (This includes having identical or similar names).

Do not intentionally submit false reports.

You may not scam players (Promising something to someone and not following through).

DDoS or the publicizing of other member's private information (DOX) will result in a permanent ban. (This includes all "hacking" threats).

Do not instigate or encourage others to break server rules.

You may not display/discuss explicit topics of a sexual/offensive nature. This includes signs, builds, or any form of communication.
Staff may request that you conclude these discussions or displays, and failure to comply may result in disciplinary action.

ROLEPLAY RULES

Random Death Match; Killing players with no RP reason.

Disrespect, mic spam, or anything that would not result in damage being taken is not RP reasons to kill someone.

Do not NLR.
New Life Rule; Returning to the scene of your death immediately after dying or before the preset time has run out.

If you die defending a base during a raid you may not return to the base until the raiding party has adverted over.
NLR Timer: 3 Minutes.

Do not misuse props (Prop-Minge, Prop-Surf, Prop-Climb, Prop-Block).
Aimlessly throwing props around, trapping other players, and/or any other inappropriate use of a prop).

Do not stack/chain adverts.
Example: Raid/Assist/Mug/warn123/false/over, etc..

Do not Fading Door Abuse.
FDA: Abusing keybinds on your keyboard to open and close fading doors.

Do not RP in spawn
Example: Arresting, Building, Mugging, shooting people etc.

Do not body block or door spam
Making it so players cannot pass you or spamming e on a door to prevent it from being opened or closed.

Do not run into spawn to avoid an RP situation.

Do not change your name more than 3 times within 30 minutes.

Do not use /advert or /broadcast for Non-RP reasons.

You may not climb SWEP abuse
Example: Hitting players with the Climb SWEP for no reason.

You may not text screen minge.

You may not kill yourself to avoid an RP situation.

You may not use key binds to fade and unfade fading doors during an RP situation.
Example: Fading the entrance of your base with a keybind while running from someone mugging you.

You may not kill civil protection while wanted unless they are making an attempt to actively arrest you.

You may steal after adverting steal, once you advert steal the victim or the victim's party member(s) have the right to kill you without adverting counter.

You may not leave a sit unless declared over by a moderator.

You may not report on another players behalf.

Metagaming is prohibited.
Use of OOC or PM to affect the given RP situation you or others are related in.

Example: /OOC “I'm being raided *name* come help me!).

Invisible names are prohibited

Adverts and broadcasts must be coherent and clear.
Additionally, you may not alter the color of adverts in chat; as this may cause confusion.

Do not interrupt staff reports.

BUILDING & BASING RULES

KOS lines only apply to interiors.Do not build in the streets (Unless your job allows for it).
- You may only kill someone inside your base (with the inclusion of the extended base locations areas) if you have a KOS sign placed on the exterior of the building.
- If players are already inside of a base which you have just purchased, you must give them at least a 30 second warning to leave before enforcing any KOS sign(s).
- This includes partially blocking streets, checkpoints, megabases, etc.
Obscure KOS or Building signs are prohibited.
- Signs that blend in with building or materials are prohibited; Furthermore, KOS or Building text screens must be a minimum size of 40.
You may only build on the inside of a building, aside from a few exceptions. (For a list of exceptions, see DarkRP Extended Base Locations)
Pathways must be at least 35 stacker/precision units wide.
- You may not make any pathways which are pixel-perfect or difficult to get into.
Your base must be raidable by all classes with raiding capabilities.
- Example: CP, Thieves, etc. (You may not require the assistance of more than one player)
If you wish to construct your base without getting raided, you must place down a text screen reading "Building" onto the exterior.
- If you have a building sign placed on the building you're basing in and are actively building, you're immune to muggings and raids against yourself while inside.
- You may not have a building sign and a kos sign simultaneously.
- If a building sign is placed on the exterior of a building all roleplay is paused inside of the building.
- While your building sign is placed, you shouldn't have any valuables/entities inside your base.
  - Example: Placing printers inside the base with a building sign. (Or any other item purchasable through the F4 Menu).
You may not have more than 4 fading doors operated by keypads per base
- Players should only have to crack each keypad once upon entry and once upon exit.
  - Example: Bases that loop around requiring your to crack one fading door multiple times.
You may block off excess entrances to your base.
- Example: Blocking windows, backdoors, garage doors, etc.
You may not megabase
You may not have a base designed to trap people.
- Players inside your base should have one clear entrance and exit at all times, (Including backtracking).
You must be active within a base which you own the doors for.
You may not own multiple buildings unless your job allows for it.
You may not spawn or edit the brightness of lights over 512 and a magnitude of 2.
You must own all of the exterior doors to a building in order to build upon it.
You cannot force someone to crouch, jump, or take world/fall damage while navigating your base.
- Example: Crouching to shoot back, crouching to crack keypads, etc.
All keypads must have a hold length of at least 6 seconds.
Every fading door must have a keypad or button.
The lobby of PD must be accessible at all times
- You cannot make it AOS/KOS to enter the lobby with a text screen or law.
You may only materialize fences as "models/wireframe".
Do not set up an unfair advantage in a firefight within your base
- Example: Where you can see and shoot someone, but they cannot see or shoot back or any other unfair advantage.
- Peeks & shoot holes must be a at least the size of a "plate05x05"
You may not utilize M9K Specialties, (explosives, nerve gas, nitrous, etc.) when defending your base against raiders
No invisible props, buttons or keypads.
Blackout/Colorout bases are not allowed.
Maze bases are not allowed. (This includes zigzag or confusing pathways)
Bases may not feature more than 3 buttons.
All entities are considered props - this includes cameras, meth stoves, text-screens, etc.
Keypads must be visible and directly beside the prop which they operate.
Do not materialize or hide keypads/buttons.
No faulty keypads (keypads disconnected from a fading door).

RAIDING RULES

Spoiler

You may not raid people who have a building text screen on their base
You may not build while being raided.
- Example: Forgetting to place a wall, so you attempt to quickly fix it while actively being raided.
You may not lockpick or keypad crack until you have adverted raid.
You may not engage in roleplay elements while under totem effects. (Example: raiding, mugging.)
You may not raid hobo huts, DJ huts, or a chefs' mobile kitchen.
You may not raid the Cinema or Casino.
You may not kill nearby players unless they're inside the building in which you're raiding.
- You may kill the party members of base/CPs and or people who are interfering/countering.
  - Example: Player(s) continuously opening or closing doors.
You may not kill arrested players unless they are out of their jail cell.
You may not raid an unowned base unless there is an active roleplay event inside.
- Example: Gun sales, drug deals, money printing.
If you want to steal/destroy raided printers in transport you must first advert "steal" or "counter"
If transporting stolen printers you must still be raiding
There is a 20-minute cooldown if you want to raid the same player(s) or the PD once again.
Raids can last up to 10 minutes
You may not chain raid.
- Example: Assisting to avoid your initial cool down.

MUGGING RULES

Raiding roles may mug using the /mug command, or by properly formatting an /advert.
- If an advert is used, you must still abide by a 5 minute cooldown.
Players under level 10 cannot be mugged
You may mug someone for 100 times their level (IE: a level 10 target can be mugged for up to $1,000, a level 63 target can be mugged for up to $6,300)
You may not mug players who are AFK or have a building sign on the exterior of their base.
There is a 5-minute cooldown between each mug.
You must provide your victim with 10 seconds to drop the cash, you may chase after them if they disobey, and may shoot them when 10 seconds have passed.
Your target must be aware they are being mugged.
During mugs, you may not strip someone of their rights to run or fight back.
If the victim drops the cash you may not kill them

PARTY RULES

Spoiler

You may KOS anyone who damages or kills a member of your party.
- You may not kill CPs who are attempting to arrest your party members.
- You may not defend any other player being damaged unless they are in your party.
You may KOS anyone who is actively mugging/raiding a party member, or breaking a party member's KOS sign.
When assisting your party in raids/mugs you MUST advert assist.
Parties must be limited to 7 members. REMEMBER HOWEVER, you may only raid in groups of 5.
Criminal roles may not be in a party with Police/CP, hobos may only party with other hobos.

GANG WAR RULES

To propose a gang war you must use /advert Gang War? (Accept/Deny)
- To propose or accept/deny a gang war you must be the gang leader.
- The leaders from at least two gangs must accept in order for the war to start
Gang wars can last up to 15 minutes, if a leader wishes to end early, they must advert "Crips Surrender" or "Bloodz Surrender" or "Grove Surrender".
There is a 30-minute cooldown between gang wars.
Keep pedestrians out of it, avoid firing at anyone besides rival gang members
- Shooting others in "crossfire" will result in an RDM count.

JOB RULES

Banker

You must base inside of the bank found across from fountain
Within the Banker's bank, printers can be legally stored and operated
You may not withhold the printer or its money from a client.
You may not destroy a client's printers.
You may not base with raiding classes.

Bank Robber

You may not mug.
You may raid the bank however, you may not raid other players bases.
You may own a base and printers.
- You may not base within the bank.
You may counter illegal activities.

Big Smoke & Ryder

You must follow the orders of, and base with the Grove Leader. If there is no leader currently on, you must base with other Grove members.
You may perform illegal activities, i.e raids, mugging, owning printers.

Blind Guy

You will probably need help getting around.
Try not to hurt anybody. Good luck.

Bounty Hunter

You may only raid if it is to complete a bounty.
Bounties may only be placed by the automated bounty system.

Cinema Owner

You may not deny customers the right to pay for entry.
You may not charge more than $5,000 for entry.
You may not commit any illegal activities
You may not use any weapon larger than a knife.
Cinema Owners are immune to raids, and muggings.

COVID Spreader

You may not perform illegal actions other than spreading covid.
You may not own a gun larger than a pistol.
You may counter illegal activities.
You may own printers and base.
You may steal a Moderna Vaccine from victims without advertising “steal”.

Citizen

You may not perform illegal activities such as mugging or raiding.
You may counter illegal activities.
You may own money printers and base.

Gang Leader - Crips, Bloodz, Grove

You are the leader, you must raid/mug alongside your gang members.
You may accept/deny gang war proposals.
You may own a safehouse for you and your gang members to live in.
- You may only base with your gang members and drug manufacturers.
- You & your gang may own money printers.

Gang Member - Crips, Bloodz, Grove

You must follow the orders of, and base with, the gang leader. If there is no leader currently on, you must base with other members.
You may perform illegal activities, i.e. raids, mugging, own printers.

Civil Protection - Police Warden, Police Officer, Police Chief, Spartan, Terminator, SWAT Team, Spiderman, Adept Officer, Police Exterminator, Police Assault

You may not base, own doors, or build, not even in the PD. (The Mayor may fortify the PD)
You may not use third person perspective to gain information that isn't normally available in first person, (i.e. abusing third person to view raidables through walls.)
You may not perform illegal actions.
You may not randomly want or warrant.
You may not Stun Stick Abuse (SSA).
You may not unarrest without permission from the Mayor or Warden. If there is no Mayor or Warden, you may unarrest, but you must have a reason.
You may not want/warrant someone for having a gun out in their own base.
You may not kill arrested players unless they are out of their jail cell.
You may not use your battering ram to access areas that are prohibited (i.e. Mayors office,)
You may counter without adverting.
You may only warrant if you SEE raidables, you may not warrant based off of sound or assumption.
You must enforce the laws of the city.
Civil Protection may break NLR when the PD is being raided, strictly in order to protect the PD.
Only the Mayor can create the KOS sign for the PD, if there is no mayor, then the Police Chief, if there is no Police Chief or Mayor, you may not have a KOS sign.
All Civil Protection requesting a warrant could be held liable for a false warrant if proof is not shown when asked.
- You can take a screenshot with F5/F12.
- To create a bind to make the person you’re looking at wanted, put this command into console: bind n “say /quickwant; jpeg” (This will take a screenshot of their location as well.)

Chef

You may not deny a customer.
You may build a mobile kitchen on the street to sell food. (Example: Food Truck, Snack Shack)
- It may be no larger than a 6x6x6 plate in length, width, and height.
- Mobile kitchens are immune to raids, and cannot contain any raidable entities.
- If you possess a mobile kitchen, you are immune to LockDown
You may not self-supply unless there is no one else available.
You may not perform illegal activities*, I.E: raids, mugging, etc.
- With the exception of owning printer(s)
You must be available to sell at all times.
You may not base with raiding classes.

Club Owner

You must base at the nightclub, if it is already taken, you may base elsewhere.
You may not deny customers the right to pay for entry.
You may not charge more than $10,000 for entry.
You may not perform illegal activities such as mugging or raiding.
You may counter illegal activities.
You may own money printers.
You are encouraged to hire DJ's, Bartenders, Bouncers, Security Guards, Drug Dealers etc.

Club Bouncer

You must base at the nightclub with the Club Owner.
You must follow reasonable orders of, and base with, the Club Owner. If there is no Club Owner currently online, you must base with other Club Bouncers.
You may not perform illegal activities such as mugging or raiding.
You may counter illegal activities.
You may own money printers.

Dealers - Import/Export, Black Market, Drug Dealer, Chef, Bartender

You may not deny a customer.
You may not self-supply unless there is no one else available.
You may not perform illegal activities*, I.E: raids, mugging, etc.
- With the exception of owning printer(s)
You must be available to sell at all times.
You may not base with raiding classes.

Deliveryman

You may complete deliveries using /delivery.
You may counter all illegal activities.
You may not own a gun larger than a pistol.
You may not perform illegal activities such as mugging or raiding.

DJ

You may use your mic to play music (no earrape, high gain audio, etc.)
- Staff reserve the right to temporarily voice mute for low quality audio.
You may not perform any illegal activities
You may not build on roofs.
You may not have keypads on your hut.
You may not spawn props randomly around the map, they must be part of your hut.
You may only build small huts, nothing else. No larger than a 6x6x6 plate in length, width, and height
You must base outdoors.
You may not have a KOS sign.
You are immune to lockdowns, raids, and muggings.

Doctor

You may not call your own raids, mug, or own printers.
You may assist in raids, but you may only assist by healing.
You may set up a clinic in which you may charge players money to be healed, or be hired as a personal medic.

Hitman / Assassin / Deadshot

You may create a base for strictly yourself, which you may operate as a hub for collecting hits on players
You may not be in a party with or defend other players
You may raid only if necessary to complete a hit.
You may not counter illegal activities.
Accepted hits cannot be 'verbally' accepted, but must instead be placed through a payphone

Hobo & Hobo Lord

You may only build small huts, nothing else. No larger than a 6x6x6 plate in length, width, and height.
You may not spawn props randomly around the map, they must be part of your hut.
You must base outdoors.
- You may not build inside of tunnels.
  - You may not create toll booths.
- You may not build on roofs.
- You may not block off the streets or restrict functionality of any path which is used for navigation around the map
  - Example: Reducing a tunnel into a small pathway, to bypass other restrictions.
Your hut may not obstruct primary entrances of players' bases.
You may not perform any illegal activities, such as money printing.
You may not have keypads on your hut.
You may not own a gun larger than a pistol.
You may mic spam using only your voice and instruments, no media such as videos, soundboards, etc.
Hobos may not have KOS signs.
Hobos are immune to lockdowns, raids, and muggings, Furthermore, their donation box may not be stolen.

Hotel Manager

You may not own printers, meth, weed, etc. as a source of income.
You may not perform illegal activities, I.E: raids, mugging, etc.
You may not base or build anywhere other than the inside of the hotel located in the city; different from the suburbs.
You may evict players from their hotel room with proper reasoning as long as they bought the room after you became the manager.
You may use weapons and mercenaries/bodyguards to protect your establishment.
You may refuse to offer a room to a player with correct reasoning. I.E: Cannot afford a room, breaking KOS rules, etc.
You may charge players as much as you want to purchase a room, however, you may not forcefully tax players after so. ex: Forcing players to pay you to stay in their rooms.
You must stay inside the hotel as the manager.

Mayor

You must follow all Civil Protection job rules, in addition to the Mayor job rules listed below.
You may not deny the police warden entrance to the jails, and you may not deny your wife entrance to the PD.
You may not be in the same party as any raiding classes.
You may not stay in spawn to avoid being killed.
You may not utilize more than 2 fading doors in order to fortify the Police Department.
Prisoners must have a way to escape the PD only using a lockpick.
You may not create laws to restrict jobs and owning shops (Example: AOS if hobo, or AOS if owning a shop).
You may not have laws or text-screens that make disrespect aos/kos.
You may allow certain players permission to enter PD and spend time with you past the 2nd door, but they may not enforce your KOS rules.
You may not create laws that clash with default laws. IE: "Drugs are now legal" or "Money Printing is legal"
No group or player are immune to the laws regardless of their affiliation with the mayor.
No minge laws. (this includes KOS laws, J-Walking laws, and any law that would restrict a player's movement)
If you call a lockdown, you must explain your reason for the lockdown via "/broadcast"
Lockdowns can last up to 5 minutes maximum with a 5-minute cooldown. You must give a valid reason for a lockdown such as (Mass lawbreaking, PD Raid, Assassination attempt etc.) The mayor must broadcast a warning 30 seconds before lockdown begins.

Mayor's Wife

You may not base with other people.
You may not perform illegal activities.
You may counter illegal activities.
You must base in the PD alongside the Mayor.
- You may defend the PD and enforce the Mayor’s KOS sign

Medic

You may not own a gun larger than a pistol.
You may not call your own raids, mug, or own printers.
You may assist in raids, but you may only assist by healing.
You may set up a clinic in which you may charge players money to be healed, or be hired as a personal medic.

Meth Manufacturer / Crack Manufacturer

You may not raid or mug, the only illegal action you may perform is cooking meth/crack, money printing, and doing drugs.
You may counter illegal activities.
You may only base with other dealers or with raiding classes.

Mercenary

You may be paid by a client to protect them and act as their bodyguard inside and outside their base.
You may base with your client.
You may participate and assist with raids and mugs with your client.
You may counter illegal activities.

Pet

You may not raid or mug, the only illegal action you may perform is money printing and any killing as a result of defending your owner's base
You may only base with your owner, the person who is officially hosting you within their base

Pianist

You may not perform illegal activities such as mugging or raiding.
You may not counter illegal activities.
You may not own a weapon larger than a pistol.
You may create a base for yourself, which you may operate as a music studio for others to come hear your piano skills. (You may restrict access to your piano, so that others cannot mount it.)
You may not own money printers.

Parkourist

You may not raid or mug.
You may not own a gun larger than a pistol.
You may use money printers and base.

Pimp

You may force the Prostitutes to do as you say, as well as create a base for you and the prostitutes to store printers in.
You may counter illegal activities
You may own money printers

Prostitute

You may not own a gun larger than a pistol.
You may not raid or mug.
You may counter illegal activities.
You may own printers and base.

Protective Drone

You may be hired by a master to protect them both in and out of their base.
You may base with your master and store printers inside of their base.
You may also assist your master in actions such as raiding and mugging.
You may counter illegal activities with your master (if your master's job allows them to.)

Raiding Classes - Thief, Cyber Thief, Franklin, Michael, Trevor, CJ, Alyx, Tommy Vercetti, Venom, Custom Classes

You may mug and raid.
You may own a base and printers.
You may counter illegal activities.

Secret Service

You are to be with the mayor at all times and defend him.
If no mayor is appointed, you must act like a normal CP.

Security Guard

You may not act as a security guard for the PD.
You may not act as a guard for your client outside of the base.
You may protect your client's base interior.
You may own printers and store them in the base you are guarding.

Covid Spreader

You may not perform illegal actions other than spreading covid.
You may not own a gun larger than a pistol.-
You may counter illegal activities.
You may own printers and base.
You may steal a Moderna Vaccine from victims without advertising “steal”.

Deliveryman

You may complete deliveries using /delivery.
You may counter all illegal activities.
You may not own a gun larger than a pistol.
You may not perform illegal activities such as mugging or raiding.

Weed Cultivator

You may not raid or mug, the only illegal action you may perform is money printing, and growing weed.
You may counter illegal activities.
You may only base with other dealers or with raiding classes.

Pet

You may not raid or mug, the only illegal action you may perform is money printing and any killing as a result of defending your owner's base
You may only base with your owner, the person who is officially hosting you within their base
